I think overall NTU is a very good University. The campuses are pleasant and the staff is always helpful. In the careers service, for example, they are very good with checking up on you and making sure you are aware of all the good resources that we have available. I think that the University offers everything that you could want in terms of societies. I have enjoyed my time here very much.

Big campus , lots of different facilities located on campus and easy to get to know after a few days there.

excellent University to study at
I really enjoyed my studies, modules taught and lecturers. The lecturers are passionate about their work which make the subject more interesting and understandable!
More than a uni ntu feels like a home with all the provided facilities.

NTU is an amazing uni, I always feel included and help is always there when I need it. It’s facilities are great, the lecture halls, library, Student Union are all places that I can sit and complete uni work. The clubs and societies are also so diverse and is so easy to make friends.

I would describe one of the best experiences I've had in my life as my time at NTU. I enjoy every minute I spend here, thanks to the quality of education, knowledge of academic stuff and great communication, the ongoing understanding that supports the student not only for academic success or career but also for mental health. The University has an equal and understanding ethic towards all religions, language, orientation and appearance. In addition, it is prepared for all situations that may be experienced due to disability and have opportunities to facilitate the student's NTU experience. Nottingham Trent University is also equipped with the equipment that constantly renews itself in terms of technology and can offer students every content that can be missed in the physical environment on its online platform. As an international student, I can say that the online platform played a big role in my adaptation process. Overall I feel very happy and proud to be a Nottingham Trent Student.

Clifton Campus is great, very enjoyable place to study! Only complaint is that the campus has a lot less going on compared to City Campus. In my 3 years of studying I have never had an issue with Wifi connection which has been excellent. So far I have not had much experience with the careers service but they are usually helpful. There is always lots going on at the SU and the committee really make an effort to make changes.

The university is great but the career service in helping you find a job is not great as I am struggling to Gina and apply for one.

Nottingham Trent university is great- you make friends quickly, try new things from joining the various clubs or just a night on the town, and the student union is built up of sweet supportive people that work hard to make your time at uni comfortable

I am finishing my second year studying law at NTU and it has honestly been the best experience of my life. Not only is there support for academics and mental health there are so many chances to do new things that i hadn't tried before such as through societies and their 'give it a go week'. In first year i had to commute but there were so many different areas i could wait and relax in between my classes.

I found it very easy to settle in and make friends. the course is also exactly what it is advertised as which i really enjoy. It is also in a good location. the staff are friendly and really helpful
The university is central and it's easy to get to the buildings. Most of the them are modern and have everything needed. There could be more done for the art and design crowd as the building right now (April 2023) isn't the best, but they are building a new one. Currently all the equipment is spread everywhere and in different buildings which isn't ideal and makes it confusing. The student body is overall good, fun and sociable, the city is really nice and the night life is really good. It's quite an accessible university from my perspective as a recently moved here European citizen. In terms of help at the university they have most things you could ever think of and there is always someone who can help. There isn't much help they can provide for people that are undiagnosed, if you by chance are struggling with mental health or an unknown disability. The teaching is good. I wish there were more practical classes instead of just lectures and independent work as we are paying a lot.

Nottingham Trent has been very accommodating to any problems I have and has always made it very easy to access support
NTU is very good university with perfect student life.
It has a wide range of facilities and services for students however they may not be advertised directly to students so it is recommended to do your own research into what ntu offers to make the most of your experience.

NTU IS FANTASTIC. THEY MANAGEMENT MAKES IT EASY FOR US.
The university offers a great range of facilities which students can access almost all day, everyday. In addition to academic opportunities, such as work experience and regular talks, extracurricular activities are offered too (including societies, sports etc). Through the NTU job shop, I have been able to quickly find a huge number of experience and voluntary opportunities which I plan to do over the summer.

Great accommodation, spacious, modern! Not many clubs/societies on Brackenhurst campus. Haven’t used careers service so opinion is neutral. Wifi in room is slow and sometimes doesn’t work. Don’t go to SU often but see a lot of events on social media.

My course is on a campus outside of Nottingham and while it is a way away from Nottingham the connections into the city allow for easy access but also there is evidence that the university is continuing to invest a lot of money into this small campus

I have really enjoyed my time at NTU so far, I can’t say I have much to complain about. The campus (clifton) is amazing and has such great facilities, plus it’s only a short bus ride from the city.

Brilliant uni. Started here in January for postgrad and with direct comparison to another midlands uni, NTU has been great at making me feel very welcome and part of uni life. It is so close to the centre of town in great location, teaching has been very good with varied methods and assessment has been fair too. Would recommend!

Great facilities and amazing for socialising and meeting new people everyone is very helpful
Nottingham Trent manages to create an atmosphere which is inclusive of either studious or party based time expenditure.
Careers service is so good, careers coaches can help you by arranging meetings with them which was great if you weren’t sure what to do after university. Big range of clubs and societies too and facilities are modern.
Brackenhurst is a beautiful campus, postgrad staff are excellent, city library is great to have access to.
I think the best possible place to study is one if this institute it caters to both students educational needs to go above and beyond and some personal help in daily life , i will recommend this university again and again
Nottingham Trent University has a friendly atmosphere throughout. The staff and the students are so helpful and they make you feel comfortable and at home. The university is beautiful insights and it has many great facilities such as Cafes, restaurants and the students union is a great place to hang out/

very good university although staff need to be screened better as language barriers occur and become hard for students to understand the staff.

The SU run lots of events and are so engaged with desiccated full time student representation in the SU. There are numerous societies and sports to take part in at a variety of levels. The campus’ are modern and consistently being expanded.

I have loved my time at NTU. I think a lot of my negative points are due to the remoteness of the Brackenhurst campus, which makes us very isolated from the rest of the campus. Events are never advertised for us so they are usually poorly attended, making everything a bit lifeless. The clubs and societies are good, if you are willing to travel into the city. My biggest issue has been with internet which is never reliable and often drops with no warning.

Very supportive staff and services available, friendly environment on campus.
I am a 3rd year NTU student of Biomedical Science and I can highly recommend this university. Campus have great quality facilities that help students with their studies. Course is well lead and teachers supportive. Besides, there are many great societies and activities outside of studies to join and make new friends, lots of fun!

A good university. The best parts in my opinion are the facilities (minus the chairs in the big lecture theatres, uncomfortable). The worst part is the isolation if you are not in student halls, it might just be me but its very difficult to build relationships with people around me.
NTU as a while is a great university and has a lot of opportunities for students. However, based ok personal experience there is not as many opportunities available for the students living on Brackenhurst. The majority of us feel left out and that our campus is an after thought.

All buildings are nice and clean, good amount of study spaces and good options for food, friendly staff
Great, walkable and lively city to be a student in. Great facilities in the university and great career links and employability
NTU have the best facilities I have seen out of all my friends who study all around the country. The staff are all very friendly and are genuinely here to help. NTU offer some great opportunities to study abroad as well they offer loads of work experience which will set you apart from other university students.

I've made some good friends there and had a ton of new experiences. However I started around Covid times and feel like my course wasnt given much guidance

Going to Nottingham Trent university was the best choice I ever made. The facilities, lecturers, campus; i cannot fault this university in any way. The work to social life balance is perfect, and I love Nottingham as a city and how the university is right in the heart of the centre. I feel very lucky that I get to study here.

One of the most happening places to be is Nottingham Trent, It is modern, friendly and so versatile. I liked majority of time spent her, made wonderful lifelong friends, learnt new courses, participated in new extracurricular activities etc. I would highly recommend Nottingham Trent University to my friends and family in order to develop a career boost.

Because NTU is a city campus it feels more open than other universities. You do not feel cut off from the rest of the city and everything you need is right by the uni buildings.
Perfect location for a university. In the center of Nottingham, all accommodations are within walking distance, I never had to pay for any buses and trams due to how close everything was. The NTU Employability team are amazing at helping during all sorts of interviews, summer schools and career options. All the tutors I have had are so friendly and helpful during stressful exam seasons.

A great uni tbh, the campus is always clean and has loads of space to study or socialise. I think NTU has some of the best socs / clubs in the UK and the SU is so good and involved in everything.
Nottingham Trent is right in the centre of town, perfect location for student life, studying life and shopping. Loads of gyms and the uni has its own gym. The library is open 24/7 and has a lovely open top roof for summer! There’s loads of student accomodations. However I stayed in blenhiem and if I were to give any advice I’d say, live a little closer to town and pay that little bit extra for accom, your social life and making friends in first year will be so much easier! Don’t bring a car to uni, I did and you don’t need it. The university is supportive and a nice warm environment to settle into :) 10/10

NTU as a whole is good, however, living on the brackenhurst campus for 3 years has shown some issues. Brackenhurst is very forgotten about in regards to societies, funding, and connection with the ther campuses.

Coming up to the end of my Masters I have loved my time at NTU not just studying but also getting involved with extra curriculum activities. There is literally something for everyone even for a mature student that has responsibilities outside of uni I have felt included and being a mum and having health problems has not been a barrier to my learning at all.

NTU is a wonderful school to be in but the only problem I have with NTU is it’s timetable issue.
Great Uni with a great SU and accompanying facilities, like societies, events and welfare. The teaching is good and the content feels relevant, and like I will be well prepared for the workplace.

The course I'm studying is engaging and fun, with a mix of taught lectures and practical workshops which develop the skills relevant to your future career. There's a variety of sports clubs and societies to become involved with which help create a sense of community outside lectures.

Overall, I would say that NTU is a good university. There is nothing exceptional offered but the services and opportunities that are available are decent and efficiently ran.
I love the atmosphere NTU has created on the campus. My undergrad degree went smoothly however there were some lows because I transferred to 2nd year directly. I really enjoy NTU and hence I’ll be doing my masters degree here as well

It is a diverse and modern university with a lot of space to work. There are plenty of courses that can be completed to better academic writing and self confidence. The WiFi connection can make it difficult to get work done sometimes, but this can be easily remedied.

the university is very good with what they supply, especially considering we do not have the same funding as other unis
I have found my time at NTU quite enjoyable. Classes held on campus has allowed me to make new friends and feel part of the uni experience. However the lack of hot water and microwave facilities for students is quite annoying especially since there are plenty of staff rooms with those facilities available all around campus that students do not have access to.

Provides quality education with all facilities which are easily accessible for the students.
It is really a great opportunity to being a student there as University offers all the facilities and support students academically and all other ways for student's growth and wellbeing. And It's is a super modern university.

The variety of campuses at NTU makes it a nice place to study as you can change scenery from time to time if you need to study in another library or in a study space.

It is now of the best universities when comes to facilities provided for the students. The staff is highly skilled and educated.
NTU on the whole has great teaching staff who have a lot of first hand knowledge in their fields and make sure that each student gets the answers that they need when asked questions based on either the modules they are teaching or general prospects after university. They have also been super understanding that because of a chronic illness I sometimes need to go to appointments within seminar time. Some of the campus buildings are older and could use more provision for those with disabilities such as those with mobility issues especially Erasmus Darwin which is basically a rabbit warren.

The campus has good facilities, with small room for improvement. The events hosted by the SU are always really fun, however the committee could provide more support to help with the current cost of living crisis.

NTU is great for studying, getting involved, accessing services. They help and offer with a lot of things. It has taught me to be very independent and it has most importantly taught me to always keep at work even if it’s 3/4 hours a day!
