The apartment is near Victoria Centre in the city center, making shopping and public transportation very convenient. The facilities are quite new, and the apartment has a gym, activity room, and a communal kitchen, among other amenities. For an apartment in the city center, the price is also quite competitive! Plus, the receptions are so nice，so any issues you have can be resolved quickly.
Some little problems of facilities still exists, but perhaps because of bad lucky. Good in general～if can solve all the problems of facilities will be perfect.

The surroundings of the apartment are very nice, and it is quiet at night, so sleeping will not be disturbed. There are also weekly activities and free breakfasts, the staff is fantastic and everyone is friendly. Here is also very close to vc, every time shopping to buy food is very convenient, very recommended!!

Good price for a spacious room. Property management staff are friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. Social spaces on every floor provide the opportunity for social interactions. Multiple events and giveaways are hosted throughout the year, which is a nice touch. Easy connections to the city and NTU campus; just a 5-10 minute walk.
The staff are really friendly and you can come to them for any issues! They try and help whenever they can! And overall, it’s a safe accommodation, my first time moving out and I felt safe and comfortable here!
- 11pm deadline of noise is never stuck to, can be constantly woke up in the night from slamming doors or people shouting, screaming or even running down the corridor.. -no consideration of neighbouring flats by students, it’s understandable people will do different things at different times but students aren’t always considerate of the noise or activity they are doing at times. -not all maintenance fixes are able to be fixed due to lack of resources for the maintenance people to use this is not exactly a staff problem more a company problem -expensive washing prices, costs nearly £10 to just do a wash and dry

Super happy with my experience here, the staff are lovely and social spaces are amazing… the only piece of criticism I would have is the wifi isn’t the best especially if you’re using it to play games. But for the most part it’s up to standard.

It’s a great place to live in, it’s located at a walking distance to city centre, Victoria Centre and the NTU city campus. The staff is very friendly and will do their best to help you with any issues. They usually hold a lot of social events to get residents to mingle with each other and enjoy their time at Miura. I’ve been living here for a couple of months now and I’ve already decided to re book for next year too

Good management , always have really nice things for holidays. Rooms are nice , fire alarm goes off quite frequent and elevators are broken frequently too which isn’t that nice if you live on higher floors. When there are issues they do come quite quickly usually within the day. Laundry is quite expensive too. The accommodation is really nice tho and nice to bring around friends. It’s around the Victoria centre so there a lot to do within walking distance

Great sized studio I have loved living in it for the past four months. The staff here are amazing always willing to chat with you, help you out and always welcoming which makes it an enjoyable place to live. Miura is great for my commute to city campus only a 10-15 minute walk, it is also very close to the Victoria centre and not far from a Lidl very convenient. One of the things I love most is the free stuff: breakfast mornings, pizza, sometimes lunch and a pick and mix once. Those are just some of the enjoyable experiences so far and it’s only been a few months. The gym is also got loads of space and equipment and it’s only downstairs so very convenient. I have enjoyed my stay so far and it’s good value for money.

I've really enjoyed living at Miura. The location is great, its so easy to get to and from university, as well as around the city centre. The communal areas are great for socialising, they supply so many different activities for us to do, and ways to get involved. Different events are hosted frequently - offering free food a lot of the time! The team here are so friendly, and helpful, it makes living here so pleasant. The building is staffed 24/7 so there is always someone to help. The gym facilities are perfect for working out, and its so easy only having to go downstairs! There's a big courtyard area, which means me and my friends have access to a large outdoor space within the building.

I had an incredible experience at Miura! The staff here are not only friendly but also incredibly helpful (especially Subu!!!). They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The amenities provided are top-notch, making daily life so convenient. From the well-equipped gym to the communal spaces, everything is just perfect. What truly impressed me was how impeccably clean the entire place is. It's clear they take great pride in maintaining a spotless environment. The sound insulation effect is very poor, and the neighbor can hear the party very clearly in the next door, and can't sleep at all

Great accommodation in Nottingham, fantastic customer service, the property manager Subu is so nice and very helpful, willing the help the residents to solve all the problems. Spacious rooms and great quiet environment, nice common room, the staff always keep it clean as well. The receptionists are kind and nice, helped with my account and parcel reception problems. The accommodation is in a great location. It is an easy, less than 10 minute walk to the university campus and the city centre / shopping centre is 2 minutes walk away which has a supermarket in too. The rooms are very modern, social spaces are great and the staff are friendly and helpful!

Awesome property in every way. The rooms are really good, spacious and well furnished. The common areas are absoluetly great including many fun activities. Well maintained and cleaned regularly. The team on the property is super helpful and friendly. Also I am an international student so it was a bit of a task getting used to the place but my fellow students here and the team helped a lot in that and actually makes it feel like a home away from home. Its very close to supermarkets so home essential items and groceries are easily accessible. I love the gym in this place the most.

Staying here for my second year now and I’ll honestly say that I love it. The various spaces are large enough to accommodate students and rooms are built with modern fitting. Including a free on site gym! Management are nice and always available when need be. I couldn’t think of anything against the place.

Love staying at miura , it’s really stylish and the building is quite new. The rooms are quite big and they provide a lot of storage space. Even though we are in a pandemic they still had small events that we could participate in and held free food Fridays which were quite nice. The staff here is just lovely and everything gets fixed quite quickly.

Loved my stay but has been cut short due to covid, super helpful about looking for my replacement tenant. Felt safe and secure during my stay and location is great too. Staff are really helpful, responsive and friendly! You really get what you're paying for. Gym is really good and laundry facilities are okay, overall, i can recommend it!
One of the best student accommodation to live in with free gym access with dumb bells, treadmills, yoga mats, amongst others,10 minutes walk to Nottingham Trent university and Dryden centre, 5 minutes walk to grocery shops like Tesco, Aldi, and restaurants. Very lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. The accommodation ensure that there's weekly routine cleaning both in terms of trash and overall cleaning.It is safe and secured with onsite security 24 hours daily.The rooms are very conducive and spacious with outside views. Total of 4 common-rooms, very nice smoking area with maximum capacity of more than 20 people at a time.

MIURA is a great place to meet new people no matter what year you’re in. The common spaces are great for interaction and making friends. The location of the building is perfect, with shops nearby, close to the city center and just a short walk from any bus line. The staff working at MIURA is great! Always ready to help no matter what issue.

Overall a great place to live when you're looking for your own studio and want to be close to grocery stores. I also want to mention how much better security is here than other accommodations I've experienced, as they offer 24 hour surveillance. It feels safe and comfortable overall.

I knew last year that this was the accommodation I wanted to stay at for the next, and since having moved in I have enjoyed what Miura has to offer. The staff are friendly and helpful. I absolutely love the modern decor and studio room arrangements, everything from the studio facilities, to the colour scheme (which I find very therapeutic and uplifting), and the furniture/fittings. The only downer on my experience is that since moving in to Miura, lockdown was pretty imminent, so there has been restricted use on some of the accommodations general facilities, like the gym and also regarding the social aspect, where having visitors is concerned. Overall, should I live another year in Nottingham, I know where I'll be staying.

Get out if you are in this building. They have officially been blacklisted by NTU due to their poor treatment of their tenants. They no longer recommend this uni and it is so expensive. Not worth. If I could give 0 stars I would
over priced for what you receive. many appliances broke in my room (bare in mind it was all brand new). lifts didn’t work for most of the year, neither did key pads to allow you in from reception. security let anybody through. now charging full rent during COVID 19 even though no utilities have been used, staff have also been very rude throughout the process. would not stay again, do not have a positive word to say.
As a tenant here probably the worst accomodation I’ve experienced- overpriced & inconsiderate to say the least!!
This place was a nightmare! Throughout the months i was there was always something going wrong. We went days without hot water and on one occasion we went 14 hours with no water at all. My headboard started moving away from the wall and when anyone came in to do maintenance such as reinforcing the bathroom cabinet because one students had fell I came back to my room in a mess. Throughout the covid-19 pandemic the students have been thrown from pillar to post as we weren’t told to whether or not to pay rent but it was also suggested by the receptionist that we might not have to pay rent if the rooms empty or we could have to pay a £250 cleaning fee in which they would throw away all our belongings left there. This led to a lot of people completing clearing their rooms to just be told we still have to pay full rent for costs that have arisen ‘due to the pandemic’ overall this accommodation is a joke and i would not recommend anyone living there!
Staff onsite are polite and helpful, however the management of the property and dealings with the coronavirus were terrible. While many private halls have let students out of their final rent instalment due to the coronavirus pandemic, the landlords of Miura expected full payment. As it is a new build i expected there to be some issues with the building, however these issues took too long to be resolved. The lifts were faulty the entire time I stayed, only working in February 2020 but constantly breaking down. Upon moving into the building the communal areas were not even furnished. The fire alarm was faulty, constantly going off. Once night it went on for over 10 hours, which is completely unacceptable. Peoples headboards fell off their walls, the shelving in the bathrooms also fell. There was issues with the water - no hot water at times and sometimes no water at all! Tenants should be entitled to a partial refund for all the issues experienced during our stay here in 2019/20
The location is most ideal for students as its near to the University and grocery shops. The staff are very helpful and will normally respond to any queries immediately. They have also been supportive during this uncertain times
The administration does the best they can to provide for their tenants
Really close to NTU and Nottingham city centre - my studio was really nice and there's a lot of communal space in the building with pool tables etc. Miura was new this year so still very modern and very clean. Couple of issues but the staff helped solve them quickly and are always polite and friendly. Gym on site is a bonus! Only downside is it's all studio apartments, so not ideal if you're looking to share with other people, though I preferred that anyway.
Honestly I’d describe the accommodation as a glorified tin can. With the look of an ikea set up, this 6 second construction building is overpriced with lifts that break consistently. The water cut out many times, the fire alarms are sensitive and the sirens are consistent, and the common rooms are pretty bad. You have 2 with anything decent in (football and pool tables) but people lose the stuff all the time. If you aren’t sociable yourself then don’t come here because this accommodation doesn’t help you got to organise it yourself. So in all this accommodation broke my bank, made me annoyed but was a short walk to uni and I made some great friends who I basically lived with due to the large size of the rooms!
Covid-19: I have no idea I wasn’t there as I left but I was there for 2 months of lockdown and the only “help” was you can still continue to live here
