A bang average university nothing particularly special about it really depending on the course I would say look elsewhere this university is declining in how good it is , I would say it used to be a good university now I would say it’s bang average.

The library is a very good facility and all members of staff are very friendly and helpful.

NTU is a very good university in general. It is in a very convenient location right at the heart of Nottingham.
My university is providing good resources to study and lectures are very experienced with huge knowledge which help for every student to be master on subject.they are making student ideas💡 into real by proving every resource to build that idea.
Nottingham Trent university is a great university to study at for a varitety of reasons. From the variety of quality courses and facilities available, to the amount of different societies and events going on, makes it perfect for those wanting to study well and have fun. As well as this, there is a a good services and help available for students for a variety of needs and inquires. Overall, if you take advantage of these things, you are bound to have a good experience.

It is a good place to study and socilase
Finding a part time job is really difficult, definitely start looking for one over the summer and apply before you arrive in September

Loved my time at NTU so far great night life and a crazy place to be. My lecturers have been very helpful and the services to help me get a placement were very good.
The staff in the school are all very nice and friendly. And all the facilities are good enough and suitable for my life in school.
The school environment is very good, but the teaching methods and scoring standards of each teacher are not uniform

NTU is a great and conducive environment for someone like me as an international student to socialize and meet a melting pot of cultures while being open-minded. The faculty is knowledgeable and dedicated to helping students succeed. The campus is very modern and well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The university offers a wide range of programs and the resources I use for my architecture course, supports my learning and development. Ive noticed that the student community is diverse and welcoming, making for a rich and engaging academic and social experience. Overall, NTU is a welcoming university that has so far provided me with an exceptional education and prepares me for success in my career choice of architecture.

I have been at NTU for 4 years now, did my bachelor's and currently doing my Masters. What I have to say is that the lecturers are incredibly passionate about their work and they are very approachable for advice on any questions or issues that you might have. The facilities are excellent and almost every year a new building is built or renovated.
Nottingham Trent is a great university. They offer a range of free opportunities to build your CV and there is a range of societies that allow you to have fun and feel welcomed.
I've loved going to university here. Its not perfect, no where is, but I've had supportive lecturers and a variety of opportunities while studying here. If you have a long term health condition (mental or physical) or get DSA you can get an access statement which is fantastic in giving accommodations such as extensions on assignments and longer library loans.

I could not flaw NTU. The whole university is so clean, modern and buzzy. It's made impossible to have a bad experience. The staff are so friendly and supportive and readily free to help you with any classwrok or career advice.
I love that NTU give us regular updates on career opportunities, especially the Art and Design area. We get regular Lectures on the best places to research for jobs and paid placements and in these lectures they also give advice on how to stay connected with companies, brands how to put yourself out there and create a good profile. A Positive on the facilities would be that there is a lot of space for quiet study time aswell as group projects. And one thing I really appreciate is that on my campus (City Campus), many of the buildings allow free laptop and MacBook rentals and for a courses like Design, this is so necessary if you don't have a laptop like me. Lastly, It is a very accommodating University even with safety of students.

Best student service. Various career opportunities. The campus is very spacious. And the library is very big and quiet. Lots of societies and sports society. Every week there are events at ntu bar.
Nottingham is a fun and vibrant university with so much to offer. The facilities are modern and open to all students. The social events and societies make it inclusive and engaging for all.
Incredibly friendly environment and staff, the nature walk around Clifton Campus is brilliant, especially if you get stressed out by lectures or anything.
Excellent and supportive tutors on the Interior Architecture and Design course. Software / IT issues can be frustrating at times but overall very happy with my experience at NTU
I have really enjoyed my experience here at Nottingham Trent university and I have made friends for life.
Nottingham Trent provides me with everything I need and more. Not just with university and my course but also with helping with my social life and living in another city.
Great uni, a great city I love it. Better than mates ones I have been to. all really close in the city and accommodation is really close too. Love the trams makes it so easy to pop anywhere.
NTU is well-known for its student's union and I think they offer a lot of support for their students but from my personal experience, I find that the events held by NTSU are not inclusive and mostly involve drinking.

When writing my LPC application, I had to write a long personal statement. Upon completion of this, I was able to walk straight into the careers and advice centre where there was no wait and a kind woman read over my personal statement with me without hesitation and gave me advice on it. I feel so lucky to have such support readily available and kind people to help.

I am final year Ecology and Conservation student at the Brackenhurst campus, where I have lived in halls for my first and now final year. Living on campus is a lovely green space, with great access to the city with the bus stop to Nottingham city center a 5 minute walk from my door. The library, cafe, bar and new Lyth building cafeteria are great facilities. There is a small shop on site, with limited options and times I have found. The only other shop for food in walking distance is a co-op in Southwell, however if you have access to a vehical a big food shop at more student friendly supermarkets is only 20 minutes away.

Trent has an ideal city campus that it right in the city centre and makes all resources accessible. The members of staff are friendly and the majority of lectures are very engaging. Trent offers a wide range of activities that celebrate diversity and culture and across the 3 campuses there is a huge range of societies to join. Having an enjoyable experience is important to the university which has made my 3 years there so much fun.

Tutors are always helpful and accessible and campus staff are also lovely! I would recommend students to choose Nottingham Trent to get a great university experience alongside social networking.
Despite covid years, I generally enjoyed my studies at Nottingham Trent University. There is plenty of opportunities, events and resources available.
Amazing University with excellent staff and resources. The social aspect is great and opportunities for everyone. Everyone is so supportive and helpful.
Overall it is a pretty good university, Clifton campus is beautiful if you ever get the chance to visit, the food is cheap and freshly made, and the courses are decent just a lot of stress which can be manageable.
Good everywhere no strikes :) Campuses for everyone, and the nightlife is so good (probably the best in the UK)
As an International student attending NTU, I’ve had incredible access to support from accommodation to mental health support. It’s been an incredible experience so far, and I’m so glad I applied. The psychology course team is also phenomenal, especially with any help I need in getting used to the UK system.
The career support is appreciated
I have had an amazing experience at NTU so far. Nottingham as a city is very affordable from accommodation to social life and everyday cost of living for students. NTU specifically is outstanding when it comes to all sorts of support for students and carers alike. As an international student the student services has never let me down, nor has the employability team, in terms of finding part time jobs, that I can work flexibly around my timetable. The facilities are spot on with gym memberships, labs, state of the art technology, and court rooms as well. All our campuses are well equipped and well facilitated.

Haven’t been too involved with all the extra curricular things the university has to offer, however I’ve had no problems with most of everything available, and I’m happy with staff and the support available

Having previously been to the University of Portsmouth I was excited as to what NTU could offer. All in all the experience has been amazing, I wouldnt change any of it. In comparison to Portsmouth it is far far better.

I haven’t been overly involved in the students Union or societies but there’s always been emails and invitations to get involved with various aspects that interest you personally. The help with careers is definitely there if you are seeking it also but it doesn’t fall into your lap you have to actively be interested in seeking the help!
NTU are very informative about activities and events happening throughout the week. The campus is nice with good WIFI, everything is clean and Newton Building is amazing
My first year at NTU has been a great experience. It has been filled with fun, support and great advice from tutors as well as other students. I have also been introduced to so many opportunities and I can’t wait for what else is to come over the next 3 years.

This University sets a perfect example for student life. It has an amazing, good qualified teaching staff, a pleasant ambience around the campuses and incredible support for every kind of student.
I am a second year student and my support from NTU has been overwhelming in the best way possible. When I’ve needed support I always get an answer or guide in the right direction. My course is fun and engaging.

I have a bad experience with the communication from NTU regarding the visa process.
Nottingham Trent is a great university. One of the thing that attracted me to this university was the wide range of active societies. I currently partake in several societies and have enjoyed them all. I am also part of the committee for the one of the societies I am involved in, which often involves communicating with the SU. They are often reliable and help solve any problems quickly and listen to our ideas.

Varying level of teaching quality dependent on the module you are doing. The buildings are well equipped for whatever you need.
Staff have been extremely helpful and supportive through any struggles I’ve had. Information in always delivered clearly. Module selection on my course is limited and there were not that many events for my course.

It helps students explore many independent skills as well as group projects to help students also rely on others as well as help with time management. It gives all students equal opportunities.
As a Fine Art student, I have found my experience at my university to be very positive. The city campus is very convenient for me as I have all of my classes there. I find that the Fine Art School is very well equipped with all the materials and resources that I need to pursue my studies. However, as I started my school year late, I have not had the opportunity to learn much about the different societies and extracurricular activities that are available at the university. Overall, I have found my university to be a great place to study and develop my artistic skills, and I look forward to exploring more of what it has to offer in the future.
