Uncle kobi is an amazing staff member and is always happy to help me when I need him
Uncle kobi very pleasant perosn helped within the year
The Brackenhurst campus is really beautiful and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. It is quite isolated from the city but there is hourly buses. Clubs and societies at brackenhurst are limited but people new ones start up each year. Brack bar has fun club nights but it is quite small. The careers service is really helpful especially when seeking placements.

Thank you for your review! Brackenhurst is set in stunning countryside just a bus ride away from Nottingham city centre. The campus is home to the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences which is why it is set a little further from the city to ensure we can give student that correct facilities to support them on these types of courses. As mentioned in your review, there is a bus that regularly goes to the city and there are other facilities close by located in Southwell. Our Employability are there every step of the way from the start of your course and up to three years after graduation to help support you in your future careers. You can always check their main pages for information about how to get involved in events, workshops and more.

Good, I really like this experience good uni
Overall, good university and would recommend to those considering to come to Nottingham Trent.
A great university which allows you to balance work and play. Outstanding facilities with a strong community feel, especially in the Art and Design building.

Thank you for your review of the university! We are very proud of the facilities we can offer our students and in the School of Art and Design we are looking forward to opening the new building hopefully in September 2024. This new building is being constructed on Shakespeare Street and there will be dedicated spaces for visual communication, moving image and digital screen disciplines as well as a cafe, Digital Innovation Lab and Black Box Studio.
Kobby is really a good staff to help student
The course has been good. Aspects such as the newsroom make you feel like you're in a professional setting. It has also been very practical, especially in 2nd year. Great facilities such as podcasting and radio rooms. Love the library. Love how the uni is all over the city. Great community. Lots of competitions and surveys to enter. Freshers fairs were good too. Always something on! Great study abroad opportunities and the global lounge and its staff are brilliant. An amazing uni experience, most people I know here fell in love with the city and have had the best couple years of their lives.

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion of Nottingham Trent University. We are so pleased you are enjoying your time with us so far!
Positive experience for the first two terms
Great uni that offers the best of both worlds in terms of academia and student life.
The NTU Mansfield Hub is an okay place to study. It offers numerous courses at HNC, HND and degree level that are delivered by mostly good lecturers. However, it doesn't offer much more than that. The campus is severely lacking in social facilities that offer students the chance to meet new people and make new friends. It could also really benefit from more equipment related to some of the subjects, particularly engineering. The area also isn't anything special but this site has been set up to appeal to those already local to the area. With future investment, the Mansfield hub could eventually turn into something that's good for both the local students and maybe students who are willing to journey out. This would also help make Mansfield as a whole a better place to live for students, over time of course.

Thank you for sharing your views on your experience at Mansfield Hub. At NTU in Mansfield we provide access to alternative routes in higher education where you can study qualifications, including higher national qualifications; foundation, top-up and bachelor (honours) degrees. As one of the newer campuses at the University we appreciate the students feedback on how we can improve the student experience. Please feel free to share any more feedback via the Ask NTU Form so that we can share with the relevant departments.
Provide lot of guidance and advises on career. Lecturers are friendly and helpful. Teaching methods are really good. There are so many places to study and chill It would be great if there were few other social events
I enjoy being at ntu because it’s a great experience
Campus facilities are great, city campus location is perfect Accommodation is to a good standard but quite expensive, halls feel very safe
Building works outside my window every morning is horrible
I’ve had so much fun at university, the course is exactly what I was looking for and I’m super excited to finish this year and the 2nd and 3rd
Good university experience so far. I haven’t made the most of societies but other than that very good..
NTU has a lovely welcoming community with plenty to get involved with. There are always events going on when you feel like trying something new. Career services haven't been great for art students but I have seen many improvements within the last couple years.
![](https://media.studentcrowd.net/s170-q70-cfill/20200514121145-gpldehug-400x400.jpg )
Thank you for sharing your experience. We offer lots of events across the year for students to get involved in and the NTSU offer even more activities to get involved with throughout the year.
Wonderful campus, absolutely beautiful place with amzing lecturers and opportunities
I won't lie, my first year has pretty dull but that is just because of I haven't really gone out to socialise and clubs basically. It's honestly may fault. But NTU has a incredibly helpful helpful employability team that has really been a great help for me. They have really good student support for mental health. The facilities are top- notch. Warm lecturers and great teaching as well.

I had an amazing experience however teaching should be better
Fab amenities. Lots of opportunities for work experience, joining societies and carrying out short or long term placements.
I absolutely love studying at NTU because it has a great Institute for Education and all the lecturers are really supportive. I also find the content of the degree really interesting and incredibly valuable with regards to up-to-date research in the field of teaching and education. Student Support is great too and there is a wealth of support services that can be accessed by students and staff. Furthermore, the library is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and it is a really nice place to study and the staff are incredible- nothing is ever too much for them and they will try to help in any way that they can. I absolutely love studying at NTU because it has a great Institute for Education and all the lecturers are really supportive.

Great university, really good social life. Tutors are really helpful and the courses are great.
Student life is a bit different due to us not being in the center and it being hard to get there. The student union on site is amazing however always closes earlier
nothing else to say here in terms of the university
Amazing unu could not recommend it any more
Good university, would recommend for anyone who wants to be at a social university
I attend Nottingham Trent University as a first year in education studies. My first year is better than I expected. The content is amazing and interesting learning about inequalities of education with different ethnic groups and so much more. We get a 6 week placement only on the Mondays that is providing so much experience. The course is so flexible and the lecturers are some of the nicest people, they are understanding and reassuring. The course has no exams it is just coursework which already sounds amazing but the lectures help with the coursework so much so we can achieve the best grades. The classes tend to be small but you make friends with everyone, and you work together a lot which makes the course even more enjoyable.

University is a great environment overall and the facilities are very good. Wifi can be glitchy at times but gets better.
Fantastic teaching and support! Brackenhurst campus has a fun and friendly vibe
I like living close to the uni, the price isn’t bad either
My time at Nottingham Trent University was solid. While it may not boast the prestige of some elite institutions, NTU offers a decent education with dedicated faculty who provide support and guidance. The campus facilities are sufficient, and the community is welcoming. Overall, Nottingham Trent University provides a satisfactory university experience for those seeking a practical education without the frills of more prestigious schools.

Thank you for your feedback! We are pleased you are enjoying Nottingham Trent and if you have any further ideas for improving our University please do let us know by completing the Ask NTU Form on our website.
Studying at NTU has been an amazing experience so far. My course, (Product Design BSc) gives you access to amazing facilities, including wood workshop, metal workshop, and several machines such as 3D printers, laser cutters and more. The cohort is also usually really small so you get lots of tutor contact time. The employability team is also very helpful and supportive when it comes to looking for a placement. The NTSU also releases new activities that students can try every week, which is a great way to unwind and meet other students after a long day of lectures. The boots library is also an amazing resource with lots of study spaces and different noise levels to suit you.

The uni experience here is great. The people you meet are very friendly and easy to get along with, as well are the very helpful staff here too. The location is great and right in the heart of the city centre.
Kobi is the best person to see!!!
I joined NTU in 2022 after changing course from Computer Science (studying at a different university) to Real Estate and it was the best decision I could have made. Firstly, I am now studying a course I am truly passionate about and additionally studying at one of the best universities in the country for Real Estate. The lectures are second to none, all are passionate and due to all of the having worked in industry provide valuable insights into our future career paths. The course consists of lectures and seminars all delivered in person. We also get guest lectures on occasion to come & talk about future careers and lecture on their areas of expertise. NTU delivers great quality teaching & support through the employability department to help gain employment after graduation and placements/internships. The social life at NTU is great with many societies and clubs available to join should you wish to. Also, Nottingham has a great nightlife which is great for making friends & relaxing.

NTU has a lot of clubs and societies where we get to socialise and build our confidence, I have not even had one bad experience with NTU all lecturers are supportive and we have access to every thing we need
Internet problems can arise in the Lecture theatres which is problematic.
Good uni with diversity student background
The Internet access is fast and reliable. The staff are friendly and always willing to help and provide guidance. The facilities are of good quality. The student union is inclusive and a nice place to be.
really good & would recommend to friends & family. the atmosphere is fantastic & there is always something going on. I haven’t really got a bad word to say about the University in any way

NTU is in a great university for business and SU saturday is great
I have thoroughly enjoyed studying marketing at Nottingham Trent.
As its a very large uni in terms of student numbers, there is a very wide range of opportunities in sports and other clubs and societies. The union is much better than other unis I have visited in terms of club nights and events.
![](https://media.studentcrowd.net/s170-q70-cfill/20200514121145-gpldehug-400x400.jpg )
As you also mentioned there are lots of ways to get involved including the course societies run via the Students' Union or Academic Schools. Thank you again for sharing your experiences with our prospective students!

We aim to provide "a student experience like no other" for all the students and we do this by creating opportunities, sharing knowledge and support you through the student journey from start to finish. The Clifton campus is quite the place. Buses run every 10 mins 24/7 during term time to get you to the city and safely back to campus on big nights outs such as Wednesday- Ocean night! Got the gym right on campus and a 24/7 open library too.
I am the student of Nottingham Trent University and as the 1st year student I can share my new experince of studying there. Also, I have previous experience of studying in Ukraine, so I can compare these two absolutely different systems. I really appreciate the support systen of NTU, they helped me a lot with my application in September and were in touch with me all the time, It made me feel calmer and safer in my difficult situation. Currently, if i have any issues or questions to ask, i always call to NTU support team, i might wait for a long time if they are busy or it might take them a while to answer to the email, but it`s only because lots of students prefer to use their support and take information from them. At the end, they will always answer and provide necessary advise. What about the campus, I am studying in Clifton Campus and there is a nice, very cozy and comfortable area for students. There we can find useful facilities and what i like the most, a lot of really cool p

Thank you for sharing your experience of applying to NTU and the support you received during this stage of the process. We are glad to hear you feel supported and know where to look for additional support when needed. We hope you are settling in at Clifton Campus and that you have had a change to explore all the facilities on offer.
Very nice campus big and teachers are very charming and helpfull
good student life and convenient uni accommodation
The campus is modern and has everything you could need all in one place. There’s no more than a 5minute walk to get anywhere on campus from any other point. I’ve not joined any society’s myself (I haven’t found any need but I’ll probably join some next year) but there is something for everyone and even if there is not something for you it’s easy to start your own society for it. The student union (for me) is usually used for a more quiet night for just chatting or playing board games with friends. There’s much more to do in the city centre and it is only a half an hour bus away so it is really handy, they run till just before 4am so it’s great for nights out. My course has a big push on careers after uni it really tries to prepare you for it (even when your in your first year). The WiFi on campus is fine sometimes it takes a while for things to load. The accommodation WiFi isn’t the greatest though I have to reconnect every time i get back to my room so it’s a bit annoying.
![](https://media.studentcrowd.net/s170-q70-cfill/20200514121145-gpldehug-400x400.jpg )
We are pleased to hear you like the convenience of getting around campus. Our new and existing students can all access the online MazeMap to help them find buildings, teaching rooms and lecture theatres. We are glad you have found lots to do whilst living in Nottingham and hope you continue to get involved in different events and activities.
I study on brackenhurst campus, it’s a beautiful, rural campus, nice walks, great places to study with great views! Generally speedy WiFi in all study areas and halls, Very few (3) societies operate from brackenhurst campus, hardly any variety, everything else requires travelling an hour each way to the city and many of us choose not to get involved due to finances and commitment of travel time.
Nottingham Trent uni has been a great place for me to study business. The location of my campus in the city is great and super close to my student hall’s accommodation. My course has been interesting and lots of new content constantly appears every week, which keeps the course engaging. My tutors and lectures have mostly been great, but you’re always bound to get your share if average teachers and incredible teachers. The liveliness if the city is amazing, everything is so close together that it makes exploring new places with your friends easy and enjoyable. The clubs and societies are average, I haven’t joined too many or taken part in too much because I can see there isn’t too much they offer. My student halls are great, from the location to the comfort of my room. My shared kitchen gets cleaned weekly and it’s fine cooking with six flatmates.
The student support is fantastic, and the social life is great. The course content is well explained and lecturers care about their subject areas. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Excellent University environment, members of the community take pride, all the teaching staff are incredibly friendly and caring, keen to support and want the best outcomes for students.
It’s very good and efficient .its easy to travel as it is located in the city centre.
Easy university :) teachers are helpful and buildings are easy to navigate
Decent decent decent decent decent
I love the way NTU staff helped me with my visa process as an international student. School of Business provides high quality teaching for their students with guiding how to do referencing properly, do presentations and prepare assignments accordingly. Taking NBS students to Thornbridge is a marvelous experience There are so many places to sit and study or chill and chat 24x7 open Boots library in City Campus is a blessing if you want to work over night without any interruptions.

Great accommodation location right in the hub of the uni, and the biggest array of different clubs and societies on offer for everyone! To improve, the student union could better advertise for some events as I don’t always know what’s going on
So many societies to join and everyone is welcoming
Would recommend new comers for new comers

It’s ok and getting improved day by day
NTU is a great place to study because of the diversity that it offers. From Societies to Social events, it has everything.
My course is International Commercial Law LLM. I found that my lecturers are academics in the field and encourage us to develop an academic career. Classes are conducted in the lecture room and divided into two groups. Due to this, lecturers had much time to interact with students and individually focus on them. All materials are available online, and we are supposed to read them and have a preliminary understanding before the lecture. Even the NTU online library has access to many recommended textbooks and journal articles. Lecturers are really friendly, and they have shared their email addresses to ask and clarify any questions about the subject. They never hesitate to reexplain an area of law when a student claims that he or she does not understand it. I am from Sri Lanka, and before I chose a university to study at, I wanted to find out some entry requirements and other details depending on my career. Therefore, I emailed many universities, but NTU and a few other universities bot

The faculties are outstanding, the campus is easy to navigate. The students union has everything to offer, the carters guidance is great, NTU employability is very useful. The wifi on campus is fast.

Good campus, facilities and bus that runs to the city every 10 mins. The good split between coursework, exams and online tests. However some lecturers are difficult to understand

We agree that the public transport in Nottingham is great for getting from campus to campus and around the city. The introduction of the MazeMap is great for our new students to help them find buildings, teaching rooms and lecture theatres whilst the settle in. We are glad to hear you are happy with the work balance of your course. If you have feedback regarding any of your course content don't forget to speak to your academic school so they can support you further.
