Great university with lots of support
The wifi is brilliant. The employability team are super helpful. The campus is quite busy and the vibe is great.
Campus is well located in the city. WiFi coverage is grear
He uni is amazing and I’d recommend
Great uni, very friendly staff, with great technology and interactive lectures.
Good uni, the Design for Performance department in particular are mostly helpful, except some members of staff are extremely rude and unhelpful to nervous and confused first year students
Great, tightly-knit campuses with plenty to do in and around.
Lecturers are great and the campus is amazing
The NTU is great university, which uses all the advantages of the modern world.
Great uni, lots of facilities and helpful staff.
Seriously Sick uni would highly recommend
Really good, things like support staff and medical support is all in place if needed but obviously the night life is unreal, so many clubs and bars and the societies are all great. You can’t beat a dip in an Ocean Wednesday
Nottingham Business School has dedicated staff and has a wide availability of resources.
Really good University all round, thoroughly enjoyed my time so far
Uni is great Fortis student accomodation isn’t.
Amazing accommodation, great social life and academic facilities and teaching is second to none
Is a very well equipped university, however your experience does tend to rest in which campus you attend. I find that Clifton is a fair way from everything which can mean facilities are limited compared to the city campus. The student union however is definitely one of the best as they hold lots of different events and there are also a range of societies to get involved in. It is definitely a sociable uni although I find Clifton is a little bit out of it compared to city campus again.
NTU is an incredible University in so many ways. I graduate in July after spending three years there as a law student. I couldn’t fault the uni, from their impeccable employability team to the gym facilities. Their student services are excellent with having very positive experiences myself. All tutors in the Law school are amazing and always willing to help.
Enjoying my time at NTU very much, have met some really great people, love my course, and the campus is nice. Nottingham is also a fab place to be a student.
The university made me feel very comfortable and made it easy for me to settle in, very supportive
A great place to learn and socialise. Many clubs and societies help to be social and make friends with people you wouldn’t otherwise meet. The facility’s are great and up to date.
Great location, setup and organisation
Trent is a great uni and feels like a family. Everyone at Trent wants to be here and I've yet to come across someone who doesn't want to be involved with everyone else here.
Had an amazing three years at Trent, class SU and brill uni!
Am living in city but my course is on Clifton, loads to do in city definitely would chose there to live rather than Clifton campus!
NTU has everything on your doorstep and everything to make your student life amazing. NTU have passion for you to succeed as an individual not only at university but for when you leave. The student union is one of a kind; it’s made my university experience.
I absolutely loved my time at NTU. I honestly had the best 3 years of my life. The staff are so helpful and really try to help you do well.
Just finished my final year at uni, met some unbelievable people and friends for life! As well as being pushed to my highest potential preparing myself for the real world! Not to mention so quality blurry nights out!! #ProudToBeNTU
Really good place to study, amazing facilities on a nice campus and the night life in Nottingham is amazing
The uni is very supportive for every student. One recommendation for new students is to avoid Byron Block A and B - it get very loud during freshers and Saturday nights. The SU is right below you
Brackenhurst campus is a beautiful site on a working farm land is a close knit community compared to Clifton and City campus. The SU holds a wide range of events throughout the year to ensure that the stress does not affect the study of the students. There is not as many societies on Brackenhurst but they are slowly increasing and the ones that do exist are multi award winning societies such as the Conservation Society.
It is a fun, sociable uni. There is always something going on, and everyone gets stuck into everything.
Met and exceeded my all my expectations of university
A great university for both social and academic aspects. The university provides great support for students and there is an unbelievable amount of societies clubs and sports teams to become a part of.
My experience so far has been amazing, especially in my first year when I went for a counselling assessment (which got processed really quickly) but got referred the the dyslexia team and they helped me get diagnosed with dyslexia and more, I’ve been struggling for so long and finally understand why thanks to NTU, I would still be struggling if it wasn’t for them. I would recommend NTU to every student not knowing where to study.
It has lots of study spaces, good clubs, and the su is fab
really enjoy it, very well ran and lots of resources
Not enough help for struggling students. The societies barely ever run sober socials and the ntsu do not reach out to those in need of help. The university may be rising up but all this means is that the course is good but they will nag you for any missed seminars and not actually help you when you explain why . First years who struggle are really not helped and are urged to drop out so they don't tarnish the university name. Only 4 weeks of 1 hour wellbeing counselling help is not enough.
Overall, I’ve just finished my first year and I could not have had a better time!! I love the uni and everything they offer, my course is amazing and so are all the tutors and lecturers. The city itself Is amazing too, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Great community, lecturers and environment. I enjoyed my first year at NTU!
NTU been helping me a lot for my future, from placement to graduate opportunity, future career etc. It meaning a lot to me
Absolutely love it there. Fabulous campus and fabulous teaching
Best university for partying and socialising with other people. Fantastic university education wise winning awards every year.
All three years at university here have been amazing
Nottingham Trent university is a very welcoming and understanding place. If you have any learning difficulties they will make sure to work with you on those and to tailor those difficulties to the course.
This university has been amazing and I have loved every moment here so far
Insane and the lecturers are alright innit
Amazing experience with a close knit community (Brackenhurst). All the staff are friendly and approachable, and the Student Union is amazing with putting on events such as Wellbeing Wednesday to ensure that students are not too stressed.
Simply amazing! Everything was up to what I suspected and help was easy to get. Lecturers were friendly and kind too!
Pretty good, lecturers are very supportive
Unreal student union which offers a lot to the university
I've loved my experience at trent - every service I've used has been flawless, and the SU is definitely one of the best. Big up Trent ✌
Very friendly and helpful staff
Amazing experience. Student union is great. Never had an issue with the Wifi on campus. Very happy to be attending this university.
All round an amazing university
I have just completed my first year at the Nottingham Trent University and it has been one of tge best years so far. I have really been awed by the ample number of oppoertunities offered by the university through the clubs and societs and also theough the students union. From volunteering opportunities to learning a new skill such as singing, playing an instrument or so on besides academics, all of it under one roof. The university's employability helps one to make a professional looking CV and Cover Letter for part-time jobs. The campus provides various facilities for the student from library, sports , gym and so on. Not to mention the amazing wifi and internet speed. Overall, the university provides a wonderful ambience for studies as well as for living.
Up to date facilities, amazing staff, amazing course, best three years of my life :)
Amazing uni, had the best time
Great experience all round, lots of engaging societies for anyone to join, excellent facilities with WiFi over all campuses, Excellent careers service, only thing that lets it down is not hearing as much from the SU as would have liked. But they still put on some great events.
It's a perfect uni really, isn't missing a thing.
Staff are always friendly and the uni is constantly updating their catering services with 9 places to in city campus alone
Always well supported and look after at trent!
I didnt want to come to Nottingham Trent initially, but I was offered a place through clearing. I came straight down for a tour of the campus and loved it, and accepting the offer was one of the best things I've ever done. I've visited other unis that my friends go to, and they really dont compare to trent. Everything is good here
The university is really focused on student satisfaction and on excellent teaching and for this reason many help services are supplied to us
Brilliant uni, architecture tech course is very interesting
A really good university, especially compared to Leeds Beckett where I went previously. They could do with spending more money fixing what is already there rather than keep spending on new buildings etc. Definitely need to extend the library too! It is very clear that the university has oversubscribed, so there are students literally crammed into every crevice of every available study space. Not good when you spend upwards of £30,000 on your course alone, excluding maintenance loans.
Joined in September, loved it, the tram system around Nottingham makes it super accessible and easy, and being based in the middle of city centre makes it alot more enjoyable as plenty of places to eat near by and shopping centers
It’s a very modern and friendly facility. And the layout of the campus makes student life much better, both studying wise and city life.
I go here and I literally can’t fault it
Everything good apart from Clifton su
enjoying it so far and the night life is worth it :)
It's an amazing university with a really friendly atmosphere with top-class lecturers who really strive to get the best out of their students and make it enjoyable to learn here. The dedication and commitment to sustainability and environmental issues also makes it an excellent model university.
Excellent facilities and the knowledge the staff have is amazing
The best place to be at the moment. Great new facilities and a range of engaging enthusiastic lecturers who help explain the topics in detail. Amazing place to be for a Law degree!
Brilliant 1st year of uni with great tutors and lecturers, career focussed learning, and brilliant facilities.
Live uni, live city, live everything
I love ntu. The course, uni and area are all amazing.
Amazing. The staff are brilliant, I had help whenever I needed it.
So much support, everyone is welcoming and is really a place to get a fresh start or try something new
More societies and events to include more people from a wider range of interests
Couldn’t of asked for a better experience from the social side to the academic
Clifton Campus is excellent, all new and clean with an amazing SU, great for a hot day. Quids in is the highlight of the week.
An amazing uni, would recommend to anyone
They really care about the student experience and getting the best out of students both in terms of academics and character
The overall campuses and equipment is excellent, there’s plenty of things to do
Such a good university, helpful people and teachers are amazing!
Great university with good facilities and very helpful staff. City library is often busy and it can be hard to find a desk but this is expected over exam season
Good labs and teaching. Nice place to study
Best uni, amazing facilities, the best student union and living on campus in recommended in first year
Amazing university, I couldn’t imagine going to any other university and getting the experience I got at Trent
Above all they have got good student accommodation facilities as well. Love NTU
•campus is completely dead... nothing to do other than walk about or go to the bar. •building work means constant noise and constant dust coming into our rooms, a few people suspiciously becoming ill... maybe due to the dust. •the builders are also loud... with non stop screaming, shouting, whistling, singing, and music playing. •the cleaning team aren’t consistent as our cleaning days have been changed constantly throughout the year. •some of the kitchens are the original older and rest are newer and modern, with more storage. both groups pay the same rent. •security is made up of mostly middle age men who every time some of us encounter them, for something serious or otherwise, they have been creepy, incompetent, and unprofessional. examples: make sexual jokes about women around women, and are slow to answer. -the catering team ALWAYS have drama going on... every single time me and my friends go to get food they are complaining about each other and moaning to each other.
NTU is probably the best University outside of the usual big players. The SU is massive, and a fantastic facility along with a good community working within it. The University’s staff are also very good as well
I’m a graphics student and I get a lot of different facilities and support I needed.
T. R. E. N. T. WE ARE THE TRENT ARMY!
Great university as I'm a part of confetti and get access everywhere
it was all good nothing much to say
Nottingham Trent is an amazing university! Everything is so modern and everyone is very welcoming. All the facilities are amazing and everyone and anyone is welcome here.
Amazing university. Currently in first year and have loved every second. Library open 24/7, teaching is amazing
Great staff! Great subject knowledge and teacher! Exciting and varied campus. Great opportunities and support - academic and personal.
