Better than university of, as recently proven
all good, dont book rise Nottingham.
Not a shabby place to be. Ocean is a must. Some w***** around but every uni has that! Nothing special.
The uni feels like home and I learn so much
Rather be a poly x Never met a fun person from uni of
Great university with all the essential services covered, more over a thriving, diverse community with many different interests.
Loved the last 3 years at Trent swimming society has improved massively and the sports department work so hard to help get you your best grade
Amazing university to experience/study. #TrentArmy
Love it there is so much to do, so much support
The best uni for international and social people! So many good opportunities in personal and professional life.
NTU Is a great University, offers different challenges
Nottingham Trent is a great university in the heart of the city.
Fantastic uni love it, really good for placements etc
My NTU experience has been amazing! It’s so inclusive and the highest standards of teaching!
The best university I looked around and the most comforting and welcoming place. The teaching staff is excellent both professional yet understanding and helpful at any time. Sports facilities here are second to none they have a broad amount of sport teams which means what ever ability you are accommodated!!
One of the best years of my life. Nottingham was a wonderful environment for a year.
Good uni. Just pick the right course.
Campus is amazing but the best thing is definitely the clubs !
Good uni in general. Nice facilities
Biochemistry & Employability Team: Staff are very supportive for students.
Student union, better than most night clubs in other places
Most of Nottingham Trent is pretty modern especially the main building in the city campus which is really sick looking.
NTU has been an amazing experience for me and everyone I know so far. The city is amazing. The campuses and facilities are vast, pretty, inspiring and comfortable. I've found the lectures to be excellent and teaching quality very impressive and engaging. Pastoral care is an amazing benefit of NTU specifically, as it is high priority for them and it really shows! I was really struggling and felt very alone and actually got reached out to by the university and offered help and couselling straight away. I was treated so nicely and felt genuinely really cared and understood for which is SO important to me, and I know a lot of people who can say the same! I've heard the same cannot be said for the Uni of Nottingham (I have a lot of friends there now, one who moved to NTU for this reason,) and would genuinely advise one to go to NTU rather than Uni of, even if one is more prestigious and wants higher grades. Everyone knows Trent is a better uni.
Patient and friendly teachers and helpful staff from student union. Lots of fabulous student activities. Campus is well facilitated. Boots library is definitely my favourite!
Nottingham is a city which feels like home no matter from which country you’re from , everything is at an arms reach even the university , ntu has been a great support with the transition of living in a new country for the first time , the faculty is so friendly and understanding, their way of teaching is impeccable. Student union is very supportive and has great events all week long. We have our employability team which is the best support system I could’ve ever asked for the university has great jobs all year long which any one can apply for , library is 24*7 which is ideal for any student. The wifi is great amazing speed and connectivity. Trent has loads of societies and when I say loads I mean LOADS and the best part is want to form a society of your own? You just need 10 people with you and you can form your own society isn’t that just great? I’ve just completed my first year and I can’t wait to go back after summer break!!!
Everything is great, i felt really welcome this last year however the students union has failed to be a place of contact as you can never get ahold of anyone
I love everything about NTU - it has allowed me to academically succeed to a standard that I never knew I was capable of.
Amazing campus with the best understanding teaching experience.
Good university, would recommend
NTU has such a wide range of opportunities and experiences available to all its students, I love it here
The university is focused on their students, by offering service to support both academic and personal issues, as well as listening to what the students want, and implementing this whatever they can.
Fantastic University, great staff and impeccable facilities make the uni an amazing place to be.
Amazing university with the best tutors available! I’ve had so much hep with my work and been offered advice on anything
NTU has been an absolutely amazing experience, tutors are amazingly helpful, the NOW system is easy to navigate and learn independently from and seminars really help put all the information from lectures together
This university doesn't care about you, you are another way to make money to them, however they do a good job a pretending they care.
Amazing University with great faculties
Trent is is an amazing uni with easy access to everything, especially the frequent buses between campuses. It has a huge range of societies aswell and a Notts night out is sick
Brilliant uni, full of supportive lecturers and a brilliant general leadership team
I studied a Business degree here for 3 years, and overall I was extremely happy with my experience. The facilities were excellent considering the large size of the university. Accomodation is plentiful although there are some better than others. I was a member of a sports society for three years and on committee playing at a high level, all clubs are extremely inclusive and friendly with a very large variety of different abilities. The students union offered plenty of help with both personal and academic issues and are tailored to each individual case. Whether it's for a brief chat, or a lengthy appointment, they were extremely helpful with dealing with enquiries. Great teaching. Main criticism is with the careers team; claim to have vast industry contacts and they definitely do not, though I think it's the same no matter where you go - unless it's Russell Group/Redbrick. SOMETIMES getting good seminar tutors are a matter of luck. That aside, returning here for my master's next year!
Did my first year here doing chemistry and hated every minute of it, there wasn’t much help from the lecturers and the halls weren’t great either. Moved to bournemouth university now and just completed my first year in forensics and I love every minute of it!
Art&Design facilities and stuff are great!
Not much support and really unclear course structure. Found it really had to settle in and feel like im not being given the best opportunities.
This uni has everyone anyone could want from a uni and to the highest standard! The only thing I would say is my course is over looked and we aren't give the facilities and space we should be due
The university is very Basic. Small handful of tutors offer support and good teaching the rest are there clearly just because they get paid to . Avoid any uni accommodation out of the city centre (norton court) dangerous area and awful living conditions for the money . Over all a bad uni
Great University, I’m very happy with my choice of course (Business Management 2 Years In Company) and the facilities it provides.
Provides almost excellent facilities, my only concern is the clubs and societies as not all are accessible for those with physical disabilities like DMD (although you can argue that you could find a way to get involved in some way even if it might not be competitive).
Best university ever... period #Trentarmy
Ntu is definitely good for certain courses but others are awful, it attracts people with no aspirations and you’d be lucky to receive a reply from your lecturer within a week. Useless.
The staff are generally very helpful, the Students Union is amazing and has so much to offer. The library has a lot of space for studying individually or in groups which makes finding places to work very easily.
Crap. I would recommend. Do not help at all with anything. Glad I’m completely done with that place. Other than that, the campuses is lovely and great facilities.
If you’re going to need help at some point at University then avoid this one, becaue as soon as the staff actually have to step up then you’re considered a problem they shouldn’t have to deal with. One campus is completely isolated and severely lacking in opportunities. The university has really let itself down over the past few years.
Always made to feel comfortable within the walls of the campus. Excellent tutors and a great environment.
Spent 2 years here, going on placement next year then returning for final year. Amazing teaching and Outstanding facilities. By far the greatest university
Wonderful people and wonderful uni
Amazing uni amazing people amazing experience!
everything in the university is so amazing. the staffs and teachers are dedicated as well
My whole first year at NTU was really good. Facilities were mostly great, however I feel the clifton campus gym should be a bit bigger for the amount of sport students that are based there.
For £9,000.00 a year tuition fees, surely there's so much that is a miss. Sad to say I wouldn't advise anyone to apply here. Thanks
Amazing uni and the only one I would want to go to!
Every staff member is very helpful, there is a huge variety of clubs and societies and the SU is amazing!
I've had the best time of my life. I didnt think i would fit in but i clicked with everyone so quickly. Best decision ever!
Fantastic Uni, facilities and campus’s are stunning, and staff are fantastic!
Fantastic Uni, facilities and campus’s are stunning, and staff are fantastic! To climb higher in the rankings more varied options within subjects and more challenging content should be introduced.
The best facilities and staff overall experience has been wonderful I would recommend to any one to come here and to live on campus
I’m at Brackenhurst campus and do equestrian psychology and sport science. I’ve loved every minute of being there, the lectures can’t do enough to help you, the facilities are amazing. Couldn’t have wished for a better university for both social and academic they’ve helped set me up for an amazing career
Great social life at notts Trent, including societies and the SU. Accommodation could be better.
Great uni, internet covering the whole campus, two fantastic SU’s involving great nightlife and daytime activities. A club for every occasion.
Amazing university investing in our future
Great people and a great course!
It’s been awesome to be part of this great uni
First Year on Clifton Campus was so great, and the design and facilities on campus were obviously well kept and largely alot of new and beautiful buildings. a real feel good place, cant say much for other campuses but since using the city library in second year can say that the library is really well kept and i love the rooftop garden!
Well organised, great use of 21 century technology (app)
I am really happy with my choice of university because I fit very well here. Coming from another country is difficult experience and NTU really has helped me to feel at home. Moreover, I have chosen to study Digital Media Technology and so far I haven’t been disappointed.
Great uni really reccomend it. Amazing city, campus so close to everything you need and facilities couldn’t be better.
Great university, great facilities, honest personable staff that help you achieve your best.
I feel Trent gives a brilliant all round student experience!
I’ve been at Brackenhurst campus for the past year and I couldn’t fault it. Ideal for those that don’t want a busy city life. All the staff are lovely.
I have had the best time at Nottingham Trent University so far. I am in my second year and I don’t think I have one complaint.
Love it, wouldn’t want to be anywhere else
Amazing!!!! The funnest, best, rewarding 3 years ever!
Since being at NTU I have come out of my shell and accepted me for me, with all the support from lecturers and other students, first year has been amazing, whilst the support services at NTU have been out of this word, helping me come to terms with my own mental health as well as a recent diagnoisis, if I wasn’t at NTU, I don’t know whether I would have had all of this! This is the university I chose and it was the best choice I could have made!
All the staff go above and beyond when needing help
Brilliant facilities, learning environment, staff student and really good resources for any Arts degrees
No campus feel to the university as it’s all in the city, accommodation provided by uni is awful
Great university experience and wonderful facilities!
Very Good University, accommodating and diverse, provides perfect atmosphere for both work and play
Really amazing university. The city campus has great facilities right in the town center. There is lots available to students and pleanty going on in and around uni.
Lovely staff, very helpful resources, fairly pleasent atmosphere, lecturers are helpful and nice, students union are always happy to help
Loved the societies and their social night is the best of the week. Really enjoy the atmosphere around NTU and the gym is great too. Plenty of support if I needed it. Great uni to meet friends, have a good night and get a good degree.
Trent has such a good Students Union! Extremely satisfied with every part of uni.
Great accomodation, not so good wifi
The campus is very nice but slightly out of the way being in Clifton and not the city. It has a much better campus feel than the city, however. The student union on campus could do better to entice students to join in with events there.
I've had a great experience and met many close friends. I've falling in love with my course and love being at the uni.
Best University ever, the way it’s climbing up and giving other Universities a run for their money, proud!
Nottingham Trent has got to be the University which is the full package! Clifton Campus is a modern, ever improving campus which offers quality facilities and the best working environment, whilst the City and Brackenhurst Campuses too have some of the best facilities going. The nightlife in Nottingham is definitely one of the biggest perks for picking Trent, you're not going to be left disappointed, Ocean Wednesday's, Rock City Thursday's and SU on Saturday's are some of the best night outs in the country and I've never had a bad one at Trent! The wide range of societies and sports clubs which Trent offer is second to none and you're bound to find a club which suits you; aided by a Students Union which works tirelessly to tailor you needs. I can't really fault Trent in any aspects, the student environment is electric and you easily find yourself immersed into a culture where you make friends for life. I'm so glad I chose Trent, and it will be a decision you won't regret
Good atmosphere, literelly right in city centre, lots of night not places
Amazing uni with amazing facilities and opportunities for all students
Class Uni, enjoying men’s hockey club and students union is extremely good
The Law school is amazing and the uni makes to feel like you belong with so many events and societies always getting you involved.
I am very glad that I have chosen NTU! The only thing which could me improved is - more computers available !
