“City centre is very close to the university, so can always pop in if need too. Loads of places out to eat and bus services are everywhere…Birmingham is only a 20 minute journey on a train or can get bus!”
“Intu is great for shopping with nearly every type of shop you could need. The uni provides free bus transport which is nice. Wide variety of restaurants which is nice. Nightlife is mixed.”
“The prices to live anywhere in dublin are extortionate. There is some great places to shop and to eat, but they tend to be quite expensive. There are some good student deals though”

“Durham is lovely little city. Supermarket shops are only small ones in the city centre unless you want to drive or catch a bus to bigger superstores for better prices…Great city with amazing views and walks.”

“Cost of living is great here I find it to be affordable. Eating out is good I just wish there were more restaurants…Night outs I would say they are ok…it is peaceful here not a bustling city but it is quiet and safe here. I love it.”

“Hatfield is quite expensive for what it is. The university makes the town, it is the only source of nightlife other than a Wetherspoons. The university has a couple of bars and a nightclub on campus…”
“High Wycombe is fairly large town with lots to do at anytime of the day. There's many restaurants and takeout places as well as a nightclub and many pubs.”

“The town of Ipswich is somewhere where I really feel at home. In addition, the university accommodations are really close to the center of town which means you don't need to use much public transport; you can just walk”
“There is a good public transport system, however the busses are a bit slow. The local high street doesn’t have many shops. However, grocery shopping is cheap as Lidl and Aldi are one bus ride away from campus.”
“Love Lancaster!! Originally from London but Lancaster is a nice quiet town so it’s a change of scenery for me and I'm enjoying it. It could do with a bit more Nightlife but Sugar is good when it's open.”

“Lincoln is a friendly, beautiful city with a lovely balance of old-fashioned and modern. Plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops to visit, plus I thoroughly recommend a peaceful walk around the Lincoln Arboretum.”
“I have loved living in Liverpool, it is a vibrant and busy city where there is always something to do if you find the day is getting boring... Nothing in Liverpool is overly expensive… supermarkets aren’t far away from any accommodation…”

“It has all of the entertainment needed to enjoy your evening/weekends, however, Loughborough isn’t a city and so the same extent of options cannot be expected!! Luckily, Nottingham and Leicester are easy to reach by train/bus...”
“Bedford campus is well organised, there is a shuttle bus which runs every 20/30 mins Monday to Friday from 8 am till 10 pm. It is free for students and stops at the main train station as well as at the main groceries in town centre…”

“Newport is a little town with the larger Telford nearby. There are regular buses and I think the prices are decent, especially in comparison to if you lived in a city uni. There's lots of pubs and one main club in Newport…”

“Northampton is the ideal combination of urban activity and rural tranquilly. Outside of the city, there are a great deal of green landscapes to explore outside the town. Students should try to explore these wonders within the town.”
“The bus routes are perfect for getting into the city easily… norwich is great for shopping with a mix of Branded shops and independent and quirky shops …lots of options including for vegetarian and vegan! …You will love norwich!”

“As it's near London you can expect the cost of living in Reading to be more than it would be nearer the north …plenty of choices for nightclubs in Reading but the best two by far are Q Club and the Student Union.”
“Lots of transport link, there are a few pubs and restaurants but nights out are better in Manchester city centre, there is an Aldi and Tesco nearby to do food shopping, it is a cheap place to live.”

“Swansea Bay is for the students of Swansea. Studying by the beach and the sea is a unique university experience… You can cycle from woodland to beachside in a matter of minutes.”

“Winchester town is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty to do and see. One downside is that there is only one nightclub… The town is a short walk from the uni, and has lots of restaurants and pubs to eat out at.”
