I’m very satisfied with my experience at Nottingham Trent University. The teaching quality is excellent, lecturers are supportive, and the student services are well-organized. The campus is modern and convenient, located in the heart of Nottingham with easy access to transport and city life. NTU truly provides a friendly and inspiring learning environment.
A welcoming university that supports international students at every step.

Generally great uni experience
Amazing experience, both academic and extra curricular wise. There’s so much support and activities to get involved in!
A truly open-minded experience! Everyone is really supportive, especially with employability. I would highly recommend this university
I’m an international student and the reception from both the school and the people I’ve met along the way has just been exceptional. I was really worried that I was going to be lonely being away from home and all but NTU is creating a new home for me here in Nottingham and I can’t wait to see what other amazing opportunities will be available to me through the uni.
As an international student, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience at NTU. From the very beginning, the support was amazing. The university even offered an airport pickup, which saved me both money and stress. During the international enrolment events, the staff were super friendly, patient, and really clear about everything. I felt genuinely taken care of. The library has been a lifesaver, especially for a master’s student like me. They offer great academic writing support, and the study spaces are quiet and cozy. I’m based at Clifton Campus, and having the academic bus pass (£299 for the whole year!) has been such a money-saver since it covers a wide area. There are tons of clubs and societies to join, especially for sports and even if you’re not into serious training, the “play for fun” sessions are such a nice way to relax and meet people. I’ve also joined a few free workshops like pottery and art exhibitions, which made student life so much more fun and creat

The University is vast and boast excellent infrastructure. The welcome week events were thoughtfully planned and well organised.
So far, its only been like 3 weeks but the university is amazing, the support staff on the helpdesks and center have genuine intensions, the tutors are very invested and attentive, the facilities provided by the institution is top notch. So far i have got nothing to complain about. Hope to have a pleasant experience here
The city campus is absolutely beautiful and comes to life to easily. The locations of the buildings are easy enough to find even for first years like myself. The lecturers are super friendly as well which has made settling in super easy! Theres always something going on on campus which helps create friends, memories and overall t gets me out of my accom. The WiFi can occasionally go off but other than that this campus and university is amazing!
Great experience, wonderful facilities, no regrets at all
NTU is a very good uni for sports, societies, and Notts is an amazing night out.
I love it here, I always feel really supported
Very nice and clean, all tutors are super friendly and helpful!
Campus easy to find ur way around. Helpful and friendly staff. Lots to get involved in
The NTU campus includes old traditional buildings combining with newer technology to fit the style of Nottingham city. It's a wide spread campus within the city, allowing for spaces for each course to make their own. The WiFi is fantastic with in person support available at Newton building and the general support from staff and student union has great communication and advice for students.
I'm a new student to Nottingham Trent, but I already really enjoy it. The digital arts and design building is great and the library and students union are also really good facilities.
I have really enjoyed my time at NTU so far, everything is very easy to access and everyone is very helpful. I am really enjoying my course so far and I can see myself settling in nicely in Nottingham.
I love the facilities and the societies. The variety is great, as an international student, I am very pleased to be here.
Campus is fantastic, the staff are always on hand to help you out and as a disabled student getting around the building is fantastic as they are only a short distance within each other
Awesome place to live and spend time as a student. A lot of things available both for fun and for education. Everything very close so takes 20 minutes maximum to get to all the places you need to go!

Amazing University with Friendly Satff
Great uni with fanatstic facilities
Greg course really enjoying myself
Really good really friendly and nice community
I love winfield it’s a great place it feels like home the staff at reception deals with issues promptly. It’s great
The place itself is clean, modern and in such a good location, but what really makes it stand out is the people. The receptionists, Sian and Ashley, are absolute stars – always super friendly, helpful and just generally lovely to chat to. They’ve made me feel really welcome and nothing ever feels like too much trouble for them. If you’re looking for student accommodation that feels more like a community than just a building, I’d 100% recommend Waterways.
Great university for student life and trying new things. Has all the facilities you could need for studying too. Plenty of spaces to study and grab some snacks or lunch. Even more so since it’s in the city centre of Nottingham.
Being at NTU is a really good experience. They have different staffs and students ready to welcome and guide you throughout your studies. The internet connection is good.
the university is very easy to navigate and close together and close to the main city
Lovely university, the employment team are great. Staff are lovely.
Nice and helpful staff and lots of useful services. Lots of events at city campus. Not so much in smaller ones like brack or Mansfield. All in all a good experience though.
Everything is very good, all the staff are very nice and the rooms are very clean and well kempt
The university offers a strong balance of practical learning and industry-focused teaching, with modern facilities and supportive staff. It provides good opportunities for placements and career development, making it a great choice for students aiming to build employable skills. However, the workload can be intense, and those without a technical background may face a steep learning curve. Overall, it’s a well-regarded institution that combines academic knowledge with real world application, though success depends on self motivation and making full use of available opportunities.
Lots of facilities like shops, toilets and study areas. Food is well priced. Campus is so lovely and there are lots of things to see and explore. The lecturers are supportive and friendly.
So far so great really. NTU’s easily become my home away from home.
best infrastructure, with good facilities for everything. great opportunity to study here as it provides a great opportunity to learn and grow in the space
Best uni with all the facilities. Faculties are so polite and supportive. Really enjoying my each day studying here.
Good university, loads of ways to get involved, great tutors.
Good University. Professional lecturers.
Lots of enjoyable societies and welcoming staff
I’ve been living here nearly a month now and i am so impressed. The day staff and so friendly and always have a welcoming smile on their faces! The maintenance sort any issues which occur so quickly and efficiently. The night concierge’s Issac and Beth are amazing, they always make me feel safe and welcome even at stupid times of night or early morning, they help with any issues so quick and are always there when i get locked out my room🤣 There both always down for a chat too! The building is incredible and the decor is unreal also.
