Studying at NTU has been a great journey of unforgettable experiences. The well-being and learning disability support has been valuable in helping me navigate challenges while studying, the library services have provided guidance on revision and academic writing and NTU also opened doors to amazing opportunities including my placement year which has shaped my passion for psychology. Beyond academics, I’ve made lifelong memories through societies and the varsity ice hockey game (an absolute highlight every year). Now, as I prepare to pursue my masters in psychotherapy, I know NTU has given me the confidence and skills for the next step #LoveNTU

Overall it has been a very good experience so far, learning about a number of different topics in multiple different ways. The campus is good apart from the location being so far out of the city which makes can make commuting back and forwards very difficult at times. Careers services have been helpful especially in looking for a potential placement next year.
It’s been a blast so far and would recommend NTU to any students that are unsure where to go! The experiences I’ve had already only just going into term 2 and the people I’ve met! For anyone thinking of coming to NTU now is the time🤟🏽
THE BEST!!! winfield is nice. This place is very comfortable
They could do better for support for international students
Studying at Nottingham Trent University has been a really fun experience. The teaching is engaging, and the facilities are also really good with a high focus on employability which helps set students up for the future. The Student Union is amazing, with loads of societies, events, and a sense of community. What I love most is how inclusive NTU is there’s support for everyone, no matter the background. It’s a place where you truly feel welcome and valued.
I have had a good time at NTU so far and look forward to having. an even better time
I really like the environment of university.
The university is a welcoming and safe place to be enabling growth giving you a proper chance to flourish. The range of facilities are great like fast internet, 24 hour laptop loans, plenty of places to eat and keep warm and if you're a disabled student like me you get adequate accommodations which has helped unlock my full potential as an academic. Last and most importantly the lecturers (at least on my course) are always happy to help, they make learning fun and accessible.
Our Uni is very welcoming and is rich in opportunities and events in order to build a social life and make memories for students, however it may be difficult to be aware of events happening which may result in students missing out. The students union from why I know does not show any opportunities for socialising or whatnot but overall it’s a great experience
Nottingham Trent University offers a vibrant student experience with modern facilities, strong industry links, and a focus on employability. The campuses are well-equipped, and the city itself is lively and affordable. Teaching quality is solid, with practical learning opportunities. I believe it is a great choice for students seeking a balance of academics and social life.
My time at university has been more than a struggle due to external circumstances, and the responsibilities of also being a single Mum. However, through it all University staff have been phenomenal. I was ready to quit within the first week, and even later on in the first term. But with the right help and support I am still a student now. The Student Support Services managed to offer support that I didn’t even know was a possibility. I have used the counselling services more than once and each time it was a God send. The lecturers were able to make accomodations when I needed them, so that I could engage in my studies to the best of my ability. I have grown so much since being a student. I have learnt, and still continue to learn, how much I can truly achieve if given the opportunity, and I truly believe that I chose the right University for me. At NTU students are not just a number, or a statistic. We are people, and all members of staff, despite their ranking, make us feel like an
great university really enjoy everything
A very diverse community that is welcoming. As a mature student I was nervous about feeling alienated amongst the younger students but this is not the case at NTU Clifton campus.
Thank you for positive feedback! We are happy to hear that you feel welcome at NTU. It is important to us to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students. We understand mature students may have a different experience and want to ensure they are supported. We offer mature student welcome events and students can select accommodation specifically for mature students. We also have the Mature, Postgraduate and Non-traditional students’ network. All the best in the future!
The WiFi is often spotty while clubs and societies don't really have a connection platform. The facilities are great, beautiful campus and there's great careers advice when needed
Thank you for your response! I sorry to hear that the WiFi is spotty. We will take this feedback into consideration. Students can keep up to date with Nottingham Trent Students’ Union by following their social media. We are glad to hear that you are happy with our other facilities and campus! We wish you all the best in your studies and career!

NTU has been the perfect choice for me so far! Love the facilities and the lecturers I have the opportunity to learn from. Great all round experience!
Great place tk study and make new friends
Amazing experience so far that exceeds expectations , especially surrounding all employability support
So fun. I’ve met so many people over the past couple months and I really enjoy learning in my class
Nice and convenient campus just located in the Nottingham city area. Loads of facilities and resources provided to support my studies and it just made my life so much easier. Tutors are great, all of them are very supportive and patient. Also would like to give credits to all the technicians in the workshop, they are truly helpful and inspiring as well.
NTU offers a wide range of excellent facilities and support, they are always driving for improvement and finding ways to better the experience of their students.
One of the reasons I chose to come study here at NTU is the fact that they are a top tier University for employability as they are ranked 1st in the UK. And for a fact I have seen first hand that they deserve it. I have had job application support, CV and cover letter support, attended loads of career fairs, events and workshops. I will recommend studying here anytime anyway Adeola MSc HRM
The University is amazing with marvelous architecture
The WiFi is good not much to complain about anything else, there's lots of sports events and facilities and societies and events.

Great I enjoyed my Marist environment very much as it has helped me become the person I have always wanted to be
Really good content learned so far and we’re enjoying the course a lot! I like the variety in campuses and the facilities are nice!
I found the overall university experience to be highly positive. I particularly appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of tutors, who were always available to offer guidance and support. The BTC course is well-structured, providing a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application. The university also offers a wide range of clubs and societies available, offering opportunities to explore interests outside of academics and connect with fellow students.
I did an undergraduate here starting 2015 and I liked it so much that I came back for a masters 6 years after I graduated :)
I live uni life. The campus is great. And so is the sport. My course is fantastic and there’s endless opportunities.
NTU, which is at the heart of Nottingham City is the best, most diverse, and reliable university. I am so proud to be at NTU because they support every kind of student and provide many opportunities to excel in multiple areas of life. I am always exposed to one opportunity or another in so many different fields and spaces, which is commendable! The facilities are excellent, the teaching staff are so professional and great the student support team supports you in ways you couldn't imagine, and more!
It has interesting courses and the university is helpful
The university has great teaching staff.
As a student at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), I have had a largely positive experience. The university boasts a strong academic reputation, with a wide range of courses that are well-structured and taught by knowledgeable staff. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, providing an excellent environment for learning. The library is well-equipped, and there are plenty of study spaces both within the campus and in the nearby student areas. One of the standout features of NTU is its focus on employability. The university offers numerous opportunities for career development, including internships, industry placements, and a strong network of alumni. The employability service has been particularly helpful in guiding me through the process of securing placements and developing my career skills. The campus is located in a vibrant area of Nottingham, which provides students with access to a variety of cultural, social, and professional opportunities. The student support services a
Mainly clifton campus: excellent facilities kept extremely clean. Support services are great. Plenty of spaces to sit both outside and in.
good campus, great wifi, clean class rooms
Studying at NTU has been an amazing experience so far! One of the things that really stands out is the diversity on campus – it’s incredible to meet people from so many different countries and cultures. It makes the university feel like a truly global community, and I’ve learned so much just from talking to other students. The clubs and societies are a big highlight for me. With over 160 to choose from, there’s something for everyone. I joined a couple of societies, and they’ve been a great way to meet new people, step out of my comfort zone, and have fun outside of my studies. Academically, the course structure is really well-designed. We’ve had opportunities to work on real-world projects with clients, which has been such a valuable experience. Plus, they bring in guest lecturers who are actual experts in their fields – it’s inspiring to hear from people who are out there making an impact.
Student experience is good. I enjoyed all the facilities
It's good but wifi don't have speed
the only change i’d make is the food price
From joining Nottingham Trent University, it’s been a fairly positive experience. Although I’m not an overly social person regarding nightlife and clubs there are opportunities for everyone. I personally adored the visiting performances which came to university hall and have some new additions to my playlists now. The downside for me personally is the in person content within my field of study is too sparse for my liking. As much as I enjoy freedom in that regard, hybrid learning can be a bit disengaging if you’re not fully focused at home/ self studying.
University fosters innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration, offering diverse learning opportunities, access to cutting-edge research, hands-on projects, and expert mentorship, preparing students for impactful careers in dynamic, interdisciplinary fields.
Pretty pretty pretty good. Great place, thank you all!!
10/10 love it here I had a great experience studying here The staff and faculty were knowledgeable and supportive, and the campus was well-equipped with modern facilities. The courses were challenging but rewarding, and I felt like I learned a lot. Overall, I would highly recommend this university to anyone looking for a quality education.
amazing facilities on campus in clifton and city and such great opportunities for everyone blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
The rent of accommodations on campus are too high and the SPAR on campus are too high

It's pleasant journey started here
It fun to learn so many new information and to be able to use it. The facility is amazing to have as they would have everything that i would need in order to work in my career.
Yeah overall university experience is nice and comfortable we love going to university daily
I have a lot of fun on Campus, using the Gym Facilities while also expanding my k owledge of computer science. Despite my anxieties the Student support team really helped me explore my options
Excellent student support nice
It feels good in the uni and the staff is also good and interactive
Generally I have had no complaints about my time here, apart from reviewing the delivery of modules and updating them to be more relevant rather than using previous lectures from 5 years ago, etc…
Amazing place and lovely lecturers
Nottingham Trent is an amazing university. The ability to get a degree whilst also having fun and socialising. You are able to find the perfect balance between the two.
Brilliant uni, every student is cared for

Thank you for your great feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that the WiFi has been reliable for your university work and that you’re enjoying the prime location of NTU.
I’m currently in my first year at university and staying at The Place was the best choice that I have made, not only is this accommodation absolutely fantastic but so are all the staff, everyone from staff to the other people staying here are all so friendly and I have made so many amazing friends coming here. It is just down the road from the train station, the tram stops and the bus stops which is really convenient as well. Everyone here made me feel so welcome since I came from quite far and choosing this accommodation has definitely helped my confidence and uni experience. 10/10 Would definitely recommend 😁👍
As a current law student they have made my time there so far very worthwhile especially with the amount of opportunities and student support that we get both academic and career wise
As a second-year Computer Science student at Nottingham Trent University, I've found the curriculum to be both challenging and rewarding. The faculty's expertise and the university's modern facilities have greatly enhanced my learning experience. Additionally, the supportive environment and numerous opportunities for personal and professional development have been invaluable in preparing me for a successful career in the tech industry.
I’ve loved my time at Trent so far. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the campus is always clean and catered to my needs.
A great campus with lots of available resources for students ranging from physical equipment and studying resources to online archives and helpful videos. They seem to actually care about supporting you in your course.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're so glad to hear that you’ve found our campus resources to be helpful and that you feel supported in your course. At NTU, we strive to provide a wide range of both physical and online resources to ensure that students have everything they need to succeed. It’s wonderful to know that you’ve felt that genuine support throughout your studies.
I love this university and the facilities, great staff and societies
Amazing university, provided a lot of support and opportunities.
Though i haven't explore much within the university. Everything is pretty good from what I'm experiencing. Facilities are pretty good
The facilities on city campus are really good, being modern and spacious environments, I like to come to campus to do work. I also love the cafe in Newton to get food from. The internet is good and speedy, sometimes doesn’t work usually at the beginning of term. There are a lot of societies on offer to join, I am part of the singing society and have met some friends through this and I really enjoy going. Overall is a nice university to attend.
I have now been at NTU for four years, living in student accommodation for a year and then student houses for the next three universities is one of the best things I have ever done however, there are a couple of things I wish I had thought of sooner you're in university, one you are in uni less than you expect being organised is a must and working alongside uni can be a massive help with the larger than everyone else rent bills secondly ntu is amazing for nights out with a night on every day there is somewhere for you to go no matter your schedule, and finally the societies i have met life long friends there so i recommend joining on your first week on uni
Accommodation at Nottingham Trent Brackenhurst campus is amazing. I’ve had premium suited for the past two years but even the standard ones are nice. The kitchen is spacious to hang with your flat and make great memories, watching movie nights with friends in your room with a projector or tv. You have space to tuck all your storage under your bed that you don’t need, and many cupboard spaces to fill with clothes, jewellery, shoes or bits and bobs. You can head down to the on site bar/ club on Fridays to enjoy a night of fun, drinks and music. It’s even open on a Wednesday evening to enjoy social night where everyone just gets together, drinks and has fun. The library is huge and even has a room that stays open 24/7 for those nocturnal people. There’s a shop on site with loads of options for food, frozen, snacks, sweets, drinks and more. We have a cafe called the orangery, get a Costa and sit down with friends or work.
My time at NTU has been amazing. I've grown a lot both in my studies, career, and personal life. The campus is one of the best parts—it’s so close to the city center, and there’s always something fun or interesting happening every week. I’ve also had a great time at the Student Union, making memories I’ll never forget. NTU has been the perfect mix of learning and enjoying student life.

I moved to the UK in 2016 and I always dreamed to be part of NTU. It was my priority, and I couldn't be more happy with Uni and its facilities.
A great and inclusive variety of student clubs and societies to get involved in
I am very pleased to have an experience at NTU. When I moved UK I was so confused by this new education system but with the support that NTU provides to the students is commendable. I would be lucky if I get a chance to study here for further more years
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at NTU, wouldn’t change it for the world. Nottingham city is the perfect balance of professional, party and general student life.
Good, overall happy wifi is really good
Amazing uni for engaging with the community as well as top notch educational facilities
I remember coming to NTU for an open day, and initially, I was unsure. Looking back, I think it was my nerves about coming to university that were sinking in. I had an exceptional experience at Nottingham Business School, part of Nottingham Trent University! The courses were insightful, challenging, and incredibly relevant to the business world. The facilities are top-notch, and the campus itself is welcoming, with a blend of modern amenities and a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere.
