The student teams are also outstanding, always going above and beyond to resolve any issues efficiently. Martha, in particular, stands out with her quick thinking and adaptability, making her perfect for this role. She also guides her colleagues and ensures everything runs smoothly. Redgate is within easy reach of Nottingham Trent University City Campus and the University of Nottingham Castle Meadow Campus. The accommodation is perfectly situated in Nottingham, with everything you need right on your doorstep including a train station, shopping centre, restaurants, clubs, and pubs.
Students can take advantage of the fully fitted kitchen, and dining area with sofas and a smart TV. Get to know your neighbours and hang out in the games room, cinema room, and two outdoor courtyards. When you need to get some work done, make use of the Wi-Fi and quiet study rooms. For resident's added benefit there is an onsite gym and Sherpr services. Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?

Every accom is going to have issues thats just how it is but the difference between this accom and others is how efficiently and quickly problems are solved. The building itself has a-lot of potential and its location is lovely i have everything i need right next to me and have never felt unsafe which i believe is a great achievement taking into account what Nottingham is like. The gym in the accom is alright though the cable machine is not the best the treadmills are topnotch and the view is also nice making cardio 10x easier. The friendly staff also always make sure everything is in order and organise events and chats where you can talk about your specific experience at redgate and your future. Funnily enough i saw a couple of negative reviews about the staff but i believe the problem is with some of the students as my experience and my flat mates has been beyond wonderful. I am approaching my year at redgate and can confidently say i am happy with my home away from home.
This is an excellent student accommodation. I rate it 5 stars. I stayed there for 2 semesters. when I moved in, I was going through a hard time due to an illness and the staff were very helpful and understanding. they were also very friendly and welcoming. they even allowed my pet dog to stay in the accommodation with me for comfort, which is something I will always be grateful for. the price range I found to be affordable. Their studios are very clean, brand new and unique since every studio not only has large living spaces but every studio has a washing machine that has its own dryer. I have stayed in many student accommodation in my near 20 years of school and redgate is the best I have stayed in. Redgate= 5/5

I would not recommend this accommodation at all! it is expensive with barely any amenities and fair from campus. There are accommodations that are cheaper and a better value for money.
Living at Redgate has honestly been such a great experience. The staff, Marta and Nicola, are super friendly and always happy to help, which makes a huge difference. Nicola helped me immensely trying to choose a room that I was comfortable with. Any maintenance issues get sorted out really quickly by Richard, so you never have to worry about things dragging on. The studios are really spacious and well thought out. Having your own washing machine in the room is such a lifesaver—it’s the little things that make life so much easier. Plus, the gym and games area on-site are great for unwinding or staying active without having to go far. The location is perfect too—everything you need is close by, and it’s really convenient to get to the train station or shops. Regate is a really great place to live. Im in a studio and it's incredibly spacious. Having my own washing machine is very convenient and reduces the stress of sharing with other people. It's incredibly safe and it's in a good location to buses and to uni. If i was here another year I'd definitely choose Redgate again.
Redgate is perfect! The room is completely new and has a really nice en-suite bathroom. The apartment has a big kitchen, which is really nice for people who love cooking, and a cozy living room area as well. Perfect for movie nights! Nicola and Marta are the best accommodation advisers you could wish for and they always take time for you if you need anything. The location is great too. It is just a 15 min walk from the city centre.
As a 21-year-old exchange student from Australia, staying here has been great. The staff have been incredibly accommodating especially with our term of stay, always going out of their way to help with any issues or questions I've had. My experience at Redgate has been really good so far , the management team is very accommodating and friendly. Specially want to mention Martha and Nicola , both of them always show great customer service and reliability. They were incredibly helpful and understanding when I encountered a problem with my stay . It’s clear they really want the best for each student, and I truly appreciate their support!. As well as the facilities are really nice and not having to pay extra for washing machine is always a plus. The location of the accommodation is so convenient as well , is near to the train and tram as well as near to the shops and the city centre . So is very convenient!
The accommodation is perfect!! Me and my friend had a bad start in Nottingham. As we arrived we were first in another accommodation, which was horrific and then we came in contact with Nicola. She listened to our sad start with the other accommodation. Nicola and Marta are both so kind and sweet. They always listen to you, if you have any concerns and try to find the best solution. The apartments are all new and it was great to be able to move into a completely new room where no one else has slept before. The kitchen area is really nice and has everything you need. There is also a small sofa corner to chill or to have a movie night with your flatmates. From Redgate you just need a 15 min walk to get into the city center. For me it is perfect so I am not dependent on public transport. All in all the accommodation is great!!
This accommodation is in a convinent and good location . Perfect for both ntu and uon students . My room is comfortable and spacious . The Accomodation is managed well and have staff who will sort out problems as fast as they can . Cleaning staff who clean kitchens is an amazing bonus .would recommend !
