NTU is a great place to study because of the diversity that it offers. From Societies to Social events, it has everything.
My course is International Commercial Law LLM. I found that my lecturers are academics in the field and encourage us to develop an academic career. Classes are conducted in the lecture room and divided into two groups. Due to this, lecturers had much time to interact with students and individually focus on them. All materials are available online, and we are supposed to read them and have a preliminary understanding before the lecture. Even the NTU online library has access to many recommended textbooks and journal articles. Lecturers are really friendly, and they have shared their email addresses to ask and clarify any questions about the subject. They never hesitate to reexplain an area of law when a student claims that he or she does not understand it. I am from Sri Lanka, and before I chose a university to study at, I wanted to find out some entry requirements and other details depending on my career. Therefore, I emailed many universities, but NTU and a few other universities bot

Great connectivity, very diverse library books, and excellent employability team
The faculties are outstanding, the campus is easy to navigate. The students union has everything to offer, the carters guidance is great, NTU employability is very useful. The wifi on campus is fast.

My experience is really great. The school has endless opportunities for you to comfortably work, relax, socialise. I has become my home away from home.

Good campus, facilities and bus that runs to the city every 10 mins. The good split between coursework, exams and online tests. However some lecturers are difficult to understand
We agree that the public transport in Nottingham is great for getting from campus to campus and around the city. The introduction of the MazeMap is great for our new students to help them find buildings, teaching rooms and lecture theatres whilst the settle in. We are glad to hear you are happy with the work balance of your course. If you have feedback regarding any of your course content don't forget to speak to your academic school so they can support you further.
NTU is amazing university, their support team is always helpful and quick to get a hold of and employability is a high priority which is so reassuring! There is employability events often and the employability team can help you plan future careers, find jobs, find volunteering opportunities, placements and so much more. The main campus is in the heart of the city so you're not far from anything you need, there is always something happening whether it's a NTU event, a student union event, or a event in Notts, you will never be bored! There is a load of societies, I would be surprised if someone couldn't find something to join and it's really cheap to join as well. The library is huge and great to study in as there is a lot of resources, or if you want to go somewhere quiet there is quite a few extended study lounges about! There are some areas where the Wi-Fi slows down a bit but overall, the internet is great and devices auto connect each time. I really recommend studying here!

Good university, lots of support and great student union.
Stayed here during my second year at uni, currently under my final year still at Russell view. The staff are all friendly and helpful Location is brilliant being 10 mins from uni and less than 5 for shops around the area Would highly recommend staying at Russell view for a good uni experience.

The best part is the support. Every situation I’ve had where I know that I am struggling I know exactly who to talk to about it. NTU makes this very clear from early on. Whether this be to do with assignments, stress, mental health, or just someone to talk to NTU has a variety of teachers and facilities to help! And this has been consistent throughout the 3years of my time at NTU. I LOVE my course. During the beginning of 1st year I was nervous on studying psychology and wanted to change from early on as I didn’t think it was the right course for me. But I am so happy I didn’t change, coming from a place of no prior university knowledge of university, psychology was different but now I’m my third year I am fascinated by it. All the different modules, all the labs, and lectures everything is so interesting! The accommodation has a Great social life and very close to university campus. The staff were always warm and welcoming and very social able and informative.

I've had a great experience at NTU, my course has great facilities, social aspects and the high contact hour system allows me to excel in my work. As well as this I think the atmosphere in Nottingham is great for students as there are always opportunities to meet new people and do new things.

The facilities at NTU are top-notch and very helpful. The people are welcoming and the student community is extremely diversified- something i love. The social life is never ending as well. There are societies and fun nights every week, there’s really no dull moment here.

I lived in York house Nottingham for 2 years. Everything is really nice! I do recommend any student who gonna study in Nottingham. York house will definitely be your first option!

Great place start your course.in my perspective,it's an reputated University
ntu as a whole has so much to do that is available to people at brack but not as many clubs or societies at this campus, lots about conservation, animals and sustainability but not lots of sports or other things to do

it's okay to be fair...........
The careers/employability team are good and helped to secure my placement and change my status. Basic facilities like library, bar and cafe but no gym. Local gym 10 minute walk. Not many societies on brack, most are in the city and you have to travel. There is a club at the bar every Friday.

No active students Union. Very small building hosts 2 events a week
Lovely setting, basic services but improvements needed - better shops for basic food needed, Brack bar is not clean - like walking across Sticky tape.

Satisfied with my university experience although first year might be a bit tough for international students
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have lots of support for our international students through our Student Support Services and also NTU Global. The Global team offer a range of social activities in the NTU Global Lounges which all students can get involved.
My time at NTU has been amazing. Loved it so much. The campuses are gorgeous especially brackenhurst campus. The one thing that could be improved would be societies. At Brackenhurst there isn't alot of societies and the ones here are all environment based which is lovely but if you have other hobbies you have to commute into city so that part is annoying.

There should be more clubs/societies and sport clubs here. There is lots of space to utilise for things like a running club, climbing, badminton, tennis etc. an onsite gym is also needed!!!

brackenhurst campus: No gym or place to play football and other games. footpaths are terrible always flooded. campus security and certain bouncers and groundsmen have a god-complex and are always power tripping. the drinks on draft at the bar always taste off. Bar closes too early on weekdays and busy nights. nowhere accepts cash. the campus shop is sometimes shut at random times for an unstated amount of time. The shop is never properly stock we like to call it “a shed with shelves”. Students will report you for absolutely anything and youll get warned and singled out from the whole flat with no evidence against you. The state of the paths going round campus often have obstructions that never get moved. theres only one allowed smoking spot out of the whole campus you're allowed to smoke in.

Clubs and societies based on brack are here but there is definitely not as many as city, many sports ones are not based here but at Mansfield or City which would mean travelling often to attend to them which some people wouldn't due to money
It’s good but very isolating if your more of a party person
has a bar and shop on campus so good socials
Accommodation is safe and cleaners are nice. I wasn’t able to be with the students I requested so that is frustrating as they are on the other side of campus. Security is good. People I share a flat with are very messy and it makes it an unpleasant experience being in the kitchen. Our water is sometimes cold in the evenings which can be frustrating but is not often. Generally good.

Our NTU Security teams are always on and around campus to help and support students during their time with us. We recommend that if you are having any maintenance issues that you raise these with the Accommodation team so that they can rectify the issue for you.
Not much to do on campus, Brack doesn’t have anything compared to city
Due to being so far out of the city the clubs and societies and very limited. There being only like 3 sports clubs and a couple animal societies,

Great library resources: computers, books, space ... I think there should be more societies, most of them are in the city and it takes 40 mins so it is not very easy.
We are glad you are enjoying all the resources that are available throughout Library teams including study space, materials and additional support.
