It is a very friendly and welcoming environment. There’s a lot of sports and extra curricular stuff to do when I’m free. My teachers make my learning accessible and my lessons enjoyable. I've enjoyed it so far, it has challenged me at times and has also been very enjoyable. I have met some good people and learned from bad people. Overall it's shaped me into the person I am today.

Outstanding Accommodation and Exceptional Staff Support Mansion Place, Nottingham, has been an incredible place to stay during my time as a student. Beyond the exceptional value for money, prime location, and outstanding property management, what truly stands out is the dedicated staff who make living here such a positive experience. Andrew, the manager, and Enn, the maintenance professional, have been incredibly supportive throughout my one-year stay. Andrew’s approachable and professional demeanor ensures that any concerns are addressed efficiently, while Enn’s promptness and skill in handling maintenance issues have never let me down. They consistently go above and beyond to help, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free living experience. Their combined efforts have made Mansion Place feel like a home away from home, and I cannot thank them enough for their unwavering support. For anyone considering student accommodation, I highly recommend Mansion Place for its excellent facilities.
It a good university but most of its stuff they don't tell you about so have to find it yourself. I still find things in third year I wish i knew in first

Over the past three years, I’ve absolutely loved my time at university. The campus and facilities are incredible – everything is so modern and well-maintained, perfect for both studying and relaxing. I’ve joined some amazing clubs and societies, which helped me make lifelong friends and discover new hobbies. The Students' Union is a real standout; they’re so supportive and always have fun events going on. The careers service has been incredible too, offering loads of help with placements and graduate jobs. And of course, the Wi-Fi has been great, I've had no issues whatsoever!
WiFi can be flakey, some events are also highlighted for city campus students and less for Brackenhurst Campus.
i love ntu, the uni is accessible and great, its so fun ntu is realy about having fun, i have made life long friends, the people r amazing, the location is great too, nightlife is so good and cheap and affordable, sometimes theres free events too, what i love about notts is that its so studently its great
For an international student - one of the best uni is NTU - location, facility and social wise. Nottingham a small city, affordable living, good social life and a quiet life if you need.

Good support from Nottingham Trent University
Overall great university experience so far, studying accounting and finance
I study on Clifton campus, the campus is very beautiful and there is a good amount of facilities within the campus, however, I feel like the campus is quite far out from the city especially for those who can’t live on campus. I also feel like the lecture timetables could be improved as I find myself having 2-3hour breaks inbetween lectures and due to the fact that the campus is far from my home or the city I have to spend those hours on campus.
As a PhD scholar who has been at Nottingham Trent University for three years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The university offers excellent facilities and fosters a conducive study environment, which has been pivotal in my academic journey. However, as a PhD and international student, I believe the university could do more to integrate postgraduate and international students into the larger student community. Regularly organizing social events and activities tailored to this demographic would significantly enhance the sense of belonging and engagement. That being said, Nottingham Trent University is undoubtedly a great place to pursue your degree.
Good uni with good facilities as they have a big library, a good sports campus and loads of societies that are available to join and a great careers team always there to help you. Students union is great as there is activities and sessions going on

Good support mostly, very good pastoral care

the facilities at ntu provide you with everything you could need. Ntu also provide very accessible support for various things making it very easy to get help or advice. The university have a huge selection of societies making it easy for everyone to find something for them. The wifi at uni is brilliant. As the wifi in my student house is very slow, having such good wifi at uni makes doing work so much easier.
Really welcoming team when I first joined. Societies could have more of a range of interests but the societies they do have are very good and create a proper atmosphere and transformed my experience!

As a 2nd year student at NTU, my experience has been nothing short of enriching and transformative. One of the most remarkable aspects of my course is its emphasis on practical learning. Group work plays a significant role in my course, allowing us to collaborate, solve problems, and prepare for exams. Lectures are complemented by seminars, where we delve deeper into topics through practice questions and case studies. The teachers at NTU are incredibly friendly and approachable. They are always ready to offer additional support, whether it’s clarifying a topic, assisting with coursework, or even granting extensions when necessary. Another standout feature of NTU is its 24/7 library access. Having a quiet and resourceful study space available at any time has been invaluable, especially during deadlines. Beyond academics, NTU has a vibrant social scene, with a diverse range of societies, campus events, and opportunities meet new people.
My university is the best university to study law and any other subjects too. Because the empathy I saw in every professors and whoever working there is exceptional. I came to UK for studies and my university provides me the most of it. Our lectures are quite organised and if we get hungry there is nice and tasty things available in canteen. One of my faculties brings cookies everyday for her students. Her name is Jane and I am doing International Dispute Resolution course under her. Nottingham Trent University is best for employment as there is career fairs every week. The club and co curricular activities are at its best . I thank the almighty everyday for giving me a chance to study here everyday. Then I thank my parents and the authorities of the immigration panel who thought I will be good to study here.
I am in my second year of university, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with NTU. The tutors' and the student union's help has always been quite informative. The city of Nottingham has been a really great place to live as a student, and I really would like to make the most out of it with the remaining time I have whilst also enjoying all the opportunities I have as a photography studentt.
I am happy with all learning opportunities my university gives to the students and teachers. We have plenty of different societies, sport clubs and learning programmes as well as chance to study abroad and try a variety of experiences.

Great student life including events and societies. It has good quality arts facilities and library to study in.
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is amazing for so many reasons! First, the teaching is top-notch, with loads of courses designed to give you real-world skills. They’ve even won awards like University of the Year and have a TEF Gold rating for teaching. The facilities are incredible too. The libraries, like the Boots Library at the City Campus, are super modern and even open 24/7 during busy times. Plus, there are amazing sports facilities with loads of clubs to join, whether you’re into football, climbing, or just keeping fit. What I love most is how career-focused the uni is. So many courses offer placements or internships, and the employability team is always there to help with CVs and interview prep. NTU has strong links with employers, so you feel like you’re being set up for success after you graduate. Lastly, the student life is great—there’s always something happening, whether it’s in the SU or around Nottingham, which is such a fun and student-friendly city!

it was a good year with good support from my lecturers and professors. it was everything i wanted in an university
I love NTU. As an international student I feel like the resources available frim the University are very helpful and accessible. A bunch of activities are always going on on campus which we get to take part in. It's only been 3 months but I've already made wonderful memories.

The campus is in a brilliant city centre location with amazing facilities across each building. Student services are brilliant and accessible with societies for every interest.
It's a good uni for those studying full time however as a part time apprenticeship student I can't help but feel like although I'm at Uni I'm missing out on Uni life and can't attend any events because they're ran during the week and I have work or work the next morning.

The university has so much. On campus cafes, study zones and quiet pods you can sit in to relax in and do work away from all the noise. There is wifi in all their facilities aka libraries and buildings. They also have a student service desk open throughout Monday to Fridays if you need help with anything. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful no matter the issue. I haven't had any bad experiences while studying there for my undergrad. I enjoyed it so much and I decided to do my masters here and study here again.
The university life is really good with every service and support is quite good and helpful with friendly behavior, facilities are better and easy to access.

Great university and good teaching
NTU provides the best support for international students in the UK. The cultural events held by the Global Lounge team are great opportunity to make new friends from around the world and learn about different culture. The weekly Language Cafe session are also useful to practice my speaking skills. Facilities and courses also exceeded standard.

NTU is perfectly located in the centre of the City, whether you be a commuting student or live in Halls its location and campus are amazing. The Business school is taught by a great combination of academics and professionals with contemporary experience of the world of business and its current issues. Great networking and placement opportunities! With a host of support and a City with so much to see and do what better combination of study and life could you ask for! Great home in Newton building in the centre of campus - great teaching spaces and a variety of content, assessment type and experiences. The opportunity to network and see first hand the application of theory is brilliant and really engaging!
There is plenty to do at NTU. Many facilities for your studies but also for social activities too such as the student union. There is support whenever you need it
there are a lot of societies but not a lot of variety between them, and some aren’t very easy to join and are very expensive. i can’t afford to join the societies i really want to join

Overall good, but internet connection is not always fluid in some campus, and facilities can be improved as well. Especially microphones and synthesis.
I am very happy here, I feel like I am being listened very attentively and the course of mine is so resourceful is that I feel very motivated to do well.
Each year NTU strikes to improve its facilities, the way lessons are taught, better support and most importantly it gives the students are voice and control over what they want from the university. Overall, the facilities are amazing with things you coudnt ever dream of. For socities and clubs NTU is the uni to go to, you will meet lots of new amazing people and find all sorts of socities for your hobbies. The most important thing for me was the employability support and opportunities NTU offers, they have amazing contacts and the tutors give students great advice on what to do through 1-1s.

Currently based at Clifton campus. Good facilities however, I wish there was a 24/7 library like in the city. There were many clubs and societies where I met my closest friends. The student union is alright. They arrange the occasional social activities which tend to be poorly run and lackluster. Careers support is good however finding a part-time job is very difficult. Great internet.
Great employability services, NTU has many great societies and a thriving SU. I am an especially big fan of their Boots library which includes a rooftop garden. The support offered to university students here is second to none.

I am really enjoying my time at NTU! I think it has a really high standard especially the campus and with all the support you could need! Would definitely recommend this University to anybody looking at universities to go to in the future.
Overall my experience at NTU was pretty good except I couldn't find a part time job here for the first 3 months

I've made so many new friends, it's been a really good experience for me. There's so much to do and my course is really interesting.
The University caters to everyone and gives out new work offers and opportunities to earn money and gain new experiences. The Students Union is always very supportive and understanding to any queries and question that one has. The internet and Wifi is ideal and super quick. There are so many clubs and societies to join and everyone is extremely excepting and understanding for all different levels, in terms of support. The campus that I live on is in a great location, making it easy to walk to my classes and walk into the city centre, without any issues. Facilities are mostly good and are flats are mostly well-maintained. However, sometimes maintenance can be hard to ask questions and to understand the schedules for maintenance.
Law course is truly worth it and I love all the law tutors here. Contents are great and competitive

Like how modern the buildings look
NTU has been very welcoming and I’ve settle amazingly well. I love the fact that they look out for you and try to learn your name on the first day and pay attention to what you’re doing. The feedback they give is great. Overall I like coming into uni is a great place and it’s definitely worth it.
Overall, I have found that NTU is a great place to study. The student life in the city is brilliant and the teaching at the uni is also great. The halls are very well maintained and a great place to meet new people in your first year.

I only have good things to say about it, everything at NTU has exceeded my expectations. I originally planned to go elsewhere for post graduate study, but after enjoying my time at NTU, I decided to stay. This was mostly because of the supportive environment at NTU, the staff are approachable and student services are always reminding us that they are here to help. The lecturers I have had during my time here have been friendly and always open to help further when needed. I have had the opportunity to use top of the line equipment as a Chemistry udergraduate, which is unheard of at most other universities. The online learning portals are easy to navigate and contain all the necessary information needed for the courses. Library and career services are great.

I have done my undergrad at Trent and now I am doing my master's here because I just love everything about the university and what it provides me! All the teaching staff are super enthusiastic and there to help with anything and the course content is well thought out and important for my chosen field. Additionally, I am based on the Brackenhurst campus, which has amazing views as well as access to many field-work activities.

It’s good, relaxed and the lecturers are incredible
Its been over 2 months now and being an international student I was worried about the accent the educational difficulties I am gonna face but truly I haven’t faced it yet. The module leaders and the course leaders were easily accessible to me as well as to other students that we ever felt ourselves in doubt they were always there to support us. I am writing this review after being completely changed from being an afraid international student to a confident Course Representative of my course.
My experience so far at NTU has been amazing and a learning experience.
Good location, close to pretty much everything. Facilities and teaching quality are good, the latter varies quite a bit depending on module though. Student support services could be improved though.
The university is a great experience helping us to branch out and learn more. The campus is located in the city centre and offers a wide variety of activities. The lectures are well spaced and gives us time to learn. There are a lot of places to sit and do independent studying.
The university is very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They organise many events and encourage us to participate in it. The teaching staff is very helpful and good. The canteen, the lounge and every relaxing place in uni is very fun to be at. The events helped me make friends.

The uni has great facilities and my course specifically uploads all lectures online which is super useful
All in all NTU is a great place to study, it has plenty of employability advice as well as a good SU with events, gigs and student nights

Great uni, cares about students both academically and personally. Uni is at a great location with amazing night life as well as sober activities.
The university is overall a great place with amazing student life and lots of activities! Learning is made very easy with modules clearly showcased and amazing support from lecturers and other staff members. The societies are amazing. I am currently in the volleyball and oriental societies and they organise loads of events. The university itself is perfectly located at the heart of the city. Prime for nights out with your friends and casual outings. It is very safe and you can access the library 24/7 with security staff always available.
My experience at NTU so far has been incredible. The school has excellent facilities, from academic to students’ life are top notch and available to people from different backgrounds. The library has amazing resources to help with academic researches or simply provide a place to study

All the facilities at the uni are really well done and the students union helps the experience at the uni fell a lot more fun.
NTU offers a range of opportunities and events outside of academics and there is a lot of support offered for any students struggling/ needing advice for academics, wellbeing, finance, employability etc.

It is an amazing uni to be apart of , the amount of societies sporting and non sports is exceptional, its a great way to make friends with similar interests and to get involved in new activities that you may not of tried before university
I believe that NTU is an excellent place to build new connections as the seminars are engaging and there are a variety of events and social gatherings that provide a safe space to meet new people.
