Good experience to be honest i enjoy my time there
The quality of teaching is excellent. Lecturers make an effort to tailor their approach if they see you have different needs. Additionally, language classes are offered as optional and complementary if they contribute to your career goals, I’m currently learning French. Getting involved in student life is easy; I joined a sports club and regularly use the gym. My life as a student feels well-balanced, and I feel confident knowing there’s plenty of support available if I ever need it. Overall, my experience at NTU has been exceptional, both academically and personally.

Nice university for international student
My course at ntu has been nothing but he most welcoming and enjoyable , all the staff are amazing and get so involved with their students . The facilities at NTU are nothing like I’ve seen at any other place aswell as providing more opportunities than you could imagine . As a student I couldn’t recommend it more , the whole atmosphere at ntu is extremely positive aswell as being in such an amazing city with something going on every single day . The accommodation is unbelievable and NTU provide fast services if there is any problems and the social life within the halls are absolutely amazing , you make friends for life and have the best times .

I LOVE NTU. They really open to any background. They all for any religion and cultures.
Trent is a great uni with lots of opportunities as a volleyball player i wish a bit more was put into the club but besides that it’s great!
nice campus with a friendly atmosphere, shop on campus, supermarkets nearby, nice forest near by with the river and easy to get around

Im so glad I chose NTU. The support they have available for students both personally, and professionally is unparalleled.
I think the university really tries to help people feel included and prepared for life post-uni, and I think it works. I feel comfortable, safe, and understood here and I think the range of activities/clubs the university runs is a big factor in that.
Nottingham Trent University is an incredible place to study, and I could not be happier with my experience here. The university offers a perfect balance of academic excellence, modern facilities, and a vibrant student life. The teaching quality is outstanding, with lecturers who are passionate, supportive, and always willing to help. The courses are well-structured, with a strong focus on practical learning and industry connections, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers. Clifton campus is fantastic, with state-of-the-art library, laboratories, and study spaces. The student community is welcoming and diverse, making it easy to feel at home. The university also provides plenty of extracurricular activities, societies, and events, making student life even more enjoyable. Overall, I have no complaints about NTU—it truly offers an exceptional university experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering higher education.
The buildings are all state of the art with so many facilities I have yet to explore and use. There really is a club or society for everyone, whether that's through the SU or university. I have loved my time and Trent and wouldn't change anything.
I’m in my second year of uni and it’s honestly been the best experience I could ever have even though this wasn’t my first choice I’ve never been welcomed into a place and supported so well. This university has provided so much opportunities for my course and pushed me to achieve the best in my modules with the best teachers ever I feel I actually have proper friendships with them all.
The campus and all of the facilities are very well taken care of, lots of things to do within the university and around the campus.
Amazing student union and constant support. Constantly getting informative emails from careers service. So many great opportunities such as NTU employability award. The new buildings at NTU are great but some of the old ones can be very confusing to get around, but the rooms themselves are up to date.

I started uni in September. I was terrified because people told me uni is hard and it is challenging but at NTU the lectures just want you to win honestly. It’s all about utilising the opportunities presented. They are always ready to help and explain. They go out of their way to make sure you have all the resources you need to tackle tests and assignments. They try their best to leave room for independent study but I can confirm that the myth about university teachers no caring is exactly that , a myth. There are also extracurricular activities just to get your mind of books for a bit . I’m on a music scholarship and it has been very helpful with my mental health here at uni .

As a first-year student at Nottingham Trent University, I have been thoroughly impressed with my experience so far. The university offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that has made settling in both enjoyable and exciting. From the moment I arrived, I felt a strong sense of community, with friendly students and supportive staff who are always willing to help. I am currently studying Biomedical Science, and I have found the course to be both engaging and well-structured. The lecturers are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, making complex topics easier to understand. The university provides excellent facilities, including modern laboratories and well-equipped study spaces, which enhance the learning experience. Beyond academics, the student life at NTU is fantastic. There is always something happening on campus, from social events to student society activities, making it easy to meet new people and get involved. The city of Nottingham itself is a great place to be
Studying at Nottingham Trent University has been a great experience. The campus is modern with excellent facilities, and the lecturers are passionate and supportive. The university places a strong emphasis on employability, offering plenty of opportunities for internships and placements. There’s also a vibrant student community with lots of clubs and events. Overall, NTU has provided me with the tools and experiences I need for academic and career success.
University has been really nice so far. Very welcoming environment with many activities and societies to partake in. You also get to meet people from all over the world since the student body is diverse, which makes you feel like you belong.
It’s been a mouth since I arrived at NTU Clifton campus. Living at the Peverell Hall of the student accommodation, I would say, I am well impressed with the level of facilities on the campus and the assistance from staff and other students. The university seems to be in synchronization with my dream of achieving an MRes in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Science.

Studying at NTU as an international student has been a journey of growth, adaptation, and discovery. The academic rigor challenges me to think critically, while the diverse campus environment fosters cultural exchange and meaningful friendships. Adjusting to a new education system and lifestyle has had its ups and downs, but support from faculty, peers, and student communities has made the transition smoother. I have loved my time at Nottingham Trent University, I am based on the Brackenhurst Campus and it’s beautiful, the staff are friendly, approachable and helpful and there are lots of opportunities to socialise and develop as an individual.
Very helpful staff, especially regarding wellbeing. They provide many opportunities for growth and career.
If you’re an international student, NTU is the best university for you. They have all the support you would need to get settled and prioritizes student mental health and wellbeing. The tutors and professors are really friendly and open to help you with anything you need help with. The campus provides you with top notch facilities that helps you with your course. The best thing you could do for yourself and your future is joining NTU!

My time at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. As an active member of the football society and a participant in intramural football, I’ve had the chance to stay fit, meet new people, and be part of a vibrant student community. The camaraderie and sense of team spirit fostered through these activities have truly enhanced my university experience. One of the aspects I appreciate most about NTU is the excellent career support available. I regularly make use of the careers fairs, which have provided valuable opportunities to network, meet potential employers, and gain insights into various industries. The events have significantly helped me shape my future career path. Additionally, the campus itself is a standout feature. I love how clean and well-maintained the university grounds are. It creates a pleasant and inviting environment for both studying and socializing.
Overall I’ve had a great experience at ntu. The students union always have events on and the support from my lecturers has been good.

Nottingham trent has been the best choice I have made in my life, with all the activities and staff that count I feel very comfortable, the opportunities and connections I have achieved here have led me to be a better person and gain unique skills for my future

Brack is peaceful but it is lacking compared to city campus a onsite gym would be good

Great land-based uni with great facilities, out in the sticks but there are towns nearby and great bus service to city. Staff are supportive and there are many aspects such as well-being and Security that are great measures for the uni. Library staff are really friendly and helpful and can help /direct you with anything academic wise. Lyth building unfortunately closed down this year for repairs, but uni have popped up some buildings for use in the meantime, it was a great building with a lecture theatre and the main canteen. Also there are campus cats :) Lectures have been in class and most lecturers give pre-reading or post reading related to the topic of study of that lecture, and they re all really friendly and help with any questions you have regarding assignments. The feedback from assignments is also good quality and grade marking is usually quite quick. Lectures are two hours and they allow you a break. Group activities critical thinking and written work are all part of it.

Honestly I never write reviews unless I genuinely think it’s worth it. NTU is a great university and always strives to try and bring communities together no matter what culture of what background you come from, there is always something happening for which you can participate, and I really appreciate that. And I’m really happy to see my university getting the recognition it deserves.

Very fun uni to study in would recommend
The overall university experience is good. Although the lectures feels a bit rushed sometimes.
I mainly have lessons In confetti X whichbl I think is incredible. I have loved my tutors and the things they have taught me, however the internet in all the buildings is either bad or non existent with certain brands of phones being unable to connect at all. Student union and societies are plentiful and easy to join. Nights out often have people looking out for other students when it's bigger events. The uni buildings look nice but maybe could be updated in some areas. I've had some issues with space 2 in terms of quality especially when booking. But overall I love the uni and I'm glad I picked it over my other options.
Voice to the uni so I like the uni
This university is amazing, It feels so welcoming and I've always recieved great support here. There's many careers and social opportunities for anyone and the campus has its own area in the city centre which is so handy for shopping and clubbing.
I was very apprehensive before starting uni and wasn’t sure if I was making the right decision by going. However, NTU have been nothing but supportive since I started. From the lecturers to the accommodation team, everyone has been helpful and understanding. The course has been exactly what I hoped for and more! I’ve settled into uni life well and have already made some great friends. Brackenhurst campus is out in the sticks, so if you decide to live here be prepared for an hours bus ride into Nottingham city centre. However, the positives outweigh the negatives in my opinion, as if you enjoy the outdoors and walking, there’s a lot you can do while on campus! The accommodation is great, if you have any issues with anything then it is quickly resolved by the accommodation team. There’s an SU bar on-site, as well as weekly well-being activities and multiple societies to join too!

The university has been a great experience, they are very welcoming to new students and provides support when needed. The university facilities are very good (city campus) and the student union is very good, there is always events.
Nottingham Trent University is the best university in Nottingham and it is a safe place and great educational experience for students, meeting different cultures and various international students. Its good i am part of this university

It’s been half a month I have been at NTU and this university has so much to offer and events to be at! It’s a creative opportunity I’d say.

I am having a great experience studying at NTU during my current MA course, including good facilities and equipment, supportive Uni staffs and lecturers, etc.
I've had a great experience at Nottingham Trent, studying on the city campus provides a great location for everything you need. There is a great range of clubs/societies and always more being added. If you need careers help there is a lot available as well as supportive personal tutors.
Studying at NTU has been a great journey of unforgettable experiences. The well-being and learning disability support has been valuable in helping me navigate challenges while studying, the library services have provided guidance on revision and academic writing and NTU also opened doors to amazing opportunities including my placement year which has shaped my passion for psychology. Beyond academics, I’ve made lifelong memories through societies and the varsity ice hockey game (an absolute highlight every year). Now, as I prepare to pursue my masters in psychotherapy, I know NTU has given me the confidence and skills for the next step #LoveNTU
Overall it has been a very good experience so far, learning about a number of different topics in multiple different ways. The campus is good apart from the location being so far out of the city which makes can make commuting back and forwards very difficult at times. Careers services have been helpful especially in looking for a potential placement next year.

Studying at Nottingham Trent University has been a really fun experience. The teaching is engaging, and the facilities are also really good with a high focus on employability which helps set students up for the future. The Student Union is amazing, with loads of societies, events, and a sense of community. What I love most is how inclusive NTU is there’s support for everyone, no matter the background. It’s a place where you truly feel welcome and valued.

The university is a welcoming and safe place to be enabling growth giving you a proper chance to flourish. The range of facilities are great like fast internet, 24 hour laptop loans, plenty of places to eat and keep warm and if you're a disabled student like me you get adequate accommodations which has helped unlock my full potential as an academic. Last and most importantly the lecturers (at least on my course) are always happy to help, they make learning fun and accessible.

Our Uni is very welcoming and is rich in opportunities and events in order to build a social life and make memories for students,however it may be difficult to be aware of events happening which may result in students missing out. The students union from why I know does not show any opportunities for socialising or whatnot but overall it’s a great experience
