University is Awesome and is situated at the heart of the great city of Sheffield. Literally, 2mins walk from the Sheffield Train Station. Overall, I would without doubt recommend aspiring students to come and see Sheffield Hallam University as they have spent tens of millions renovating and improving their facilities. With doubt a smashing and great University

Haven’t been able to attend campus much - 4 days over the whole year!
We know that covid-19 has impacted the university experience for many of our students. We do keep our website updated with the latest news regarding the Covid-19 response and are working within the government guidance for this.- Stacey
University is ok. Sports facilities are decent. Libraries decent. This year due to Covid they require 1000000 negative Covid tests just to use the library for an hour though which is s***

Uni again don’t check on pupils very well during covid, they don’t care as long as you pay them!

We also have student support available, Hallam Help is your starting point for accessing support, advice and guidance online, and you can also still book in person appointments for our two Hallam Help points on campus, which are in Collegiate and Adsetts libraries. Student Wellbeing Service page provides information, advice and practical support for your psychological wellbeing. These services can help you manage your studies and make the most of university life. Our online self help service Togetherall, is free for students at Hallam. You can log in with your student email address. If any of our students need to self-isolate, we have information on how to self-isolate and the support available during self-isolation. The Uni of Students Union is better than Hallam but always good food and normally something happening there. Careers service are usually unhelpful but student wellbeing are amazing. The internet on campus is temperamental too.

Our Students Union is built for students and ran by students, I'm glad to hear that you enjoy the food, during non-Covid times the union is ususally a hub of activity! Our careers service is there to support both students and alumi, 96% of our UK graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduating (2017/18 HESA Graduate Outcomes Survey). Student wellbeing is their to provide information and advice for our students, I am pleased to hear that you've found this service useful. If you ever have any issues with WiFi whilst on campus, IT is on hand to offer support for our students.- Stacey
Have not been regularly due to covid however the university seemed excellent when we were able.

Sheffield Hallam is a great university , which offered my course (BA Hons Make-up Artistry) whereas some universities did not offer this. Lovely campus - I’m based at a college in Manchester however I still have full access to Sheffield’s amenities.

I’ve had a lot of help from Sheffield Hallam regarding mental health and well-being as I’ve struggled during this pandemic and lockdown throughout uni. Although I feel as though we could have been in more and should have been given more information from the uni.

Sheffield Hallam is a great uni, right in the centre of Sheffield so very easy to get to and the staff are very easy to talk to and make sure you understand the work and how the uni is ran.

Okay but you get what you expect
From what I have seen the university is very good, and provides all the facilities that are required to be successful, however due to the current circumstances I am unable to review the societes and student union

the only reason for the lower scores is due to the fact i have not yet stepped foot on campus nor been to see it, all my work is entirely online so there is no need for me to do so. i’m sure once being on there the campus and facilities would be up to a good standard along with the wifi. would recommend coming to this university just a shame we cannot experience proper uni due to covid.

The experience I’ve had when being in uni has been really positive. Being able to engage in discussions and see tutors face to face is needed. The library is open 24 hours a day and there is always availability for you to go and do work

I have not been able to get the full on campus experience as I have only been in around 3 times. When I have been alit has been easy to find rooms and all staff are helpful in helping you with this.
