Hallam has been great so far. The lecturers are always happy to help and I like in my course there is 1 on 1 academic advisor meetings each semester. The blackboard website they use is easy to navigate when looking for assignments and grades. All round good.

University is good and I like the facilities

Great university culture, lots to do and many of the lecturers are genuinely great. Some however do let the overall standard down.

I really love it at exchange works. I had loved in Leadmill before and I still visit leadmill. The night staff I met on Friday were wonderful, friendly and approachable.

As a university you should be responsible for international students to help them in their career growth by providing placement offers. I personally applied to many jobs through handshake for my placement year, but not even got any response from them. Really disappointed.

Been a student at SHU has enlightened me beyond my imaginations. Having studied a related course back home and now a food and Nutrition student, I have had the privilege of hands-on learning using world class equipment. That alone and many more benefits is a big WIN for me.

I'm happy to share with you my thoughts on the university. My overall experience has been fantastic so far, and the campus has a wonderful infrastructure. It has given me numerous opportunities to develop and hone my skills. Sports and academic attention have always been very beneficial to me. I've always found a happy, healthy environment here, and the staff is really helpful. After the classes, most of my questions were answered. I feel extremely fortunate to be associated with this university. It has enhanced my life in several ways.

Nice university with peaceful atmosphere and good teaching.
Sheffield Hallam university is a place to learn and meet new opportunities and make new friends from different race.Ever since I came here it has been a place I’ll always want to be,the environment,the teaching(lecturers),the internet services and I’m glad to be a student of Sheffield Hallam university
I enjoyed my university experience overall, but there were times when I struggled with my studies, but with the help and guidance of my professors, I was able to overcome those difficulties. The library is also very resourceful, as that facility can easily help both with research and with preparing for assignments and exams. There are some downgrades when it comes to the IT department, as they were not able to fix some software glitches that led to problems while preparing for assignments.

The university don't seem to care about the mental health of it's students, I have tried to get help but have been turned away. They have not been supporting us through the strikes either.

Good location and socials for making friends
I have enjoyed studying at Sheffield Hallam so far. The facilities are great and it is very modern

The atmosphere at Hallam is amazing, very social and contemporary and creative - and the city itself feels like it was built for students. Couldn't reccomemend it enough!

Courses are good but student union could make its events more beginners friendly to encourage students
I love Sheffield Hallam. the staff are so supportive and there are lots of things in place to ensure you can do the best you can.
It's good experience the library and shuttle service
Everything was fine it’s just that some of the staff was not as helpful when there is issues

Solid university they have everything you could ever need and a helpful student services for whenever you have any issues with your work !
SHU is spread across the city with many facilities and opportunities for activities clubs and assistance. Being a first year I have found their support system very helpful. The only complaint I have is that the buildings can be very confusing when trying to find your lecture/seminar room
This uni is perfect for what every student needs. The wifi can be temperamental but generally is okay. The locations of the buildings are all easily accessible and staff are eager to help
Library has 24/7 access making it extremely accessible and handy during tight deadlines.
Not a bad uni tbf would definitely recommend Sheffield if you're looking for a good time along with your education haha

Very diverse university, a lot of clubs and societies to choose from and a lot of career opportunities available. Easy to access support but could be quicker in response times to emails etc.
Good uni and staff, friendly and very easy to contact and get advice and help.
I love the university experience and enjoy spending time on campus. The only criticism I have of the university would be that some tutors often appear frustrated by students asking for extra help. This is only a small handful but can make the learning experience much more difficult when made to feel afraid to ask for assistance.
Overall I'm enjoying Hallam as a uni in itself. I love my criminology course and studying at the collegiate campus is great as it's a much more calm and quiet campus in contrast to city campus. There are many socities and sports to involve yourself in as well. Plus the student union is pretty good though I was dissapointed they didn't organise any events for the world cup. I really like Hallam overall and I think I made a solid choice (8/10).

The campus is very modern and easy to use and the location is perfect as it is close to everything like shops, bars and clubs. The BA English course is amazing, it ls so much fun and I’d recommend it to any one!!
