Easily going here was one of the best decisions I’ve made, the experience has been so fun I’ve got to try so many new things in and out of the college. If music is your passion this is absolutely the place to be in Scotland
Great accommodation lovley staff, new kitchens spacy bedrooms, group activitys are great to meet other students
Best university in Glasgow, right in the heart of the city providing a very good student life
Good university, good staff, great facilities
UoG has a huge community and long history and so the student clubs are naturally well developed. The new study buildings are really great.
Impressive university experience. Due to COVID-19, most students have only been able to take classes online, and I was impressed with my tour around campus. Even with online teaching, I can still receive correct guidance and clear knowledge
Great school, going there doing mbchb and got all support I ever wanted
it's a very good university but the connection wifi it's soo bad
90% of classes are practical so you actually get to learn what you need for the job
Nice programme and professors.
One of the most beautiful campus in UK in my mind, which has good facility, location and student management. But except this, I do hope UofG can try their best to realize more on-campus teaching activities like that before the pandemic.
Glasgow university has a lot to offer with lots of clubs and societies available.
Except the online classes, anything else is very good.
Good experience and it’s convenient to live here.
University of Glasgow was my first choice and i am content with the overall experience. The faculty, the facilities and the overall standard of teaching was high. I would highly recommend coming to University of Glasgow to anyone looking to do a postgraduate course.
The University of Glasgow offers great variety in study spaces & local amenities, with a wide range of student societies. It has been a pleasure to study here.
I think the apartment is very convenient to the school and the staff are very friendly
Very nice location for UofG students. King and warm-hearted staffs. Not that large but tidy and clean spaces.
The chemistry department showed a complete disregard for student concerns during the pandemic and the course was delivered in a disorganised manner with a lack of clarity and support.
Love the university I’m studying business and management it’s a great course . Got to meet alot of amazing people.. So far loving the experience
Good university with a wide range of classes and clubs and in a beautiful location.
An awful university. Unprepared for the world changes, super inadequate communication between university and students. just a waste of money and time. Do not come here. I repeat do not attend this school
Slightly ambivalent. The lecturers are great, the management regarding certain things could have been better. E.g. Recording of video lectures delivered, because of covid I couldn't attend one of the key lectures and it becomes difficult to keep up. (2) The Industria action. Mid semester students have missed on lectures and simply not examining those portions is not enough.
I love studying in the University of Glasgow. The professors are very nice, the staff is also very helpful and the locations/amenities are perfect for studying on campus.
My experience here at the university have been splendid. I wanted to meet and experience my university courses here in Glasgow, face to face rather than doing it online that's why I defferd my course to the next year and it was the best decision.
The university provides vast area in research and is efficient in every aspect
Good for studying and entertainment
University of Glasgow is a really nice university.
Amazing facilities to study in.
Uni has amazing faculty, infrastructure, facilities and unions. Everything you need in an ideal university, you have it at UofG. Proud to be a part of it.
It’s been quite a tough time at the university due to the pandemic. The staff support provided was not adequate
it is a great prestigious university.
Great experience, great facilities, great faculties.
Did my Masters at University of Glasgow and it has been great! The University is good and has great infrastructure and facilities. The course is structured well and gives good exposure. It is also such a beautiful place to study in!
It's a beautiful location to study, and it's been named the Scottish University of the Year. The current hybrid class system has made it easier for some pupils to focus on class.
Good University to study. Teaching and social life is great here.
The university experience has been good so far. There are endless opportunities in and around campus. It would have been great all the classes were offline.
Great place to study with great architecture. The university gives a feels of Hogwarts and also is very old making it very prestigious.
The University has been a great place to be for the first two years of my degree, and even when courses had to move online every lecturer was quick to make suitable arrangements. There is a wide variety of courses offered and the teaching quality is high. The university library is spacious and can host hundreds of students, and other new, modern study spaces are being built.
Best university for my financial course, good professor and variety of activities and events balanced for social life
Good university, i am having fun. The campus is great and has many study areas, most of which also have available computers to use. There are also various societies for all sorts of interests.
Very nice university, clean and new facilities.
Huge Campus that looks great. Lots of comfortable study spaces.
Great uni, patchy wifi on campus but reckon you’ll get that anywhere. Sports pitches are also far from the uni. However, the study and support facilities on campus are easy to access and really useful
There are many places available for study. The learning hub is great. I recommend going really early because the place gets full really fast. The wifi is not great at peak hours though.
A proper university with outstanding staff and learning
The staff is very welcoming, the room is clean and the view is great
Spaces are always crammed, and wifi often struggles to meet demand.
Prestigious university in a good location. Wifi on campus can sometimes be a bit hit or miss, and the library is always really busy but apart from that there aren’t many faults
The teaching and class activity is poorly organised. Not suitable for studying here!
A great uni, with great courses and staff
Excellent campus and facilities.
Pretty good but haven't had the chance to be on campus much
Currently, in my second year of my bachelor's degree and not a pleasant experience due to remote classes and all, certain crucial information gets lost as a lot of teachers do not respond to students' emails. Hope it gets better in my future years of study.
Really vibrant social atmosphere as there is such a mix of people from across the country. Not too boarding school dominated compared to similar top tier universities. Amazing learning spaces such such as the brand new learning hub. There is definitely a strong academic sense among students; people do care about their degree. At least much more than I would of thought for undergraduate level. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Great options for nights out ie variation on clubs and live music bars.
Big campus with lots of study space. Can be a bit confusing to find your way about when you first start but you get used to it quickly
The university campus is simply amazing with a mix of old and new buildings. The new Learning Hub is fantastic with lots of spaces for study. There are over 300 clubs but most of them are focused on undergrads but are not exclusive to them. Computer Science Department has good faculty and a decent student support system. The student unions are very active and hold events regularly. There is a club for every sport but most of them require a university sports membership to join which I feel is inconvenient (and expensive). WiFi is available throughout the campus although its strength varies between buildings. Career Service holds regular workshops and masterclasses and also keeps us informed about placement opportunities.
Haven’t been on campus a lot, only about two days a week, so don’t really have much to say. But looking forward to working on campus throughout next semester!
Hogwarts in real life! Excellent campus, great Learning Hub, good teachers.
The university is helpful and there are a lot of facilities.
It's frustrating that we have to pay to join societies on top of the 50k pounds I am paying the uni every year. I am a student..we are poor
It's an amazing school, and does a lot to help international students.
Really good university! Wifi is decent but the other amenities makeup for it
Lots of good facilities, WiFi is good and university has lots of green spaces
The best choice of University. Ever.
Excellent student support from lecturers and student support officers, outstanding campus building and facilities, great welcoming community feel for freshers which the University has clearly put a lot of effort into encouraging with events and such.
University of Glasgow is a well-known top ranked university world-wide. Students would experience the best study quality courses while also keeping their social/entertainment activities balanced within their timetable.
We don't have any offline class, I wish we can study in the classroom.
I am satisfied with UofG besides the faculty members. Some of them are so slow in replying email or being helpful in caring students' concern. My Good Cause has been waived for 3 months without any final decision. What kind of efficiency is that?
Lacklustre communication from the uni and unsatisfying covid updates
The campus is amazing! I really enjoy my time wandering around the school :)
Inspiring, amazing university.
Amazing campus, really good study materials
It's great, I'm really happy to study here.
Great place to study, very good academic support.
Nice campus with good view of nature
Tricky year in the circumstances, just felt like you were teaching yourself the course no matter how much you used the resources given. I enjoyed the course though but was hard to make friends on course.
Very good library facilities. Modern and comfortable campuses.
Couldn't go into campus all year but got my degree
Can’t fault anything honestly, always a laugh
I am very pleased with my living experience during my Masters programme here at Merchant Studios. It is a very clean and tidy building and the staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Any time there has been a problem or issue I needed help with the staff were eager to get it fixed ASAP. Also, the building is only approximately 2 minutes from the university of Strathclyde, and 5 mins from Glasgow city centre! It has made my experience here extremely rewarding and I’ve been able to walk everywhere as everything is in such close proximity. I would definitely recommend anybody to stay here during their studies and I would definitely come back! Thanks.
Love it historical and beautiful
Glasgow University scenery is very good, is a relaxed and pleasant university.I like it here very much
University often hold some activities but in this special period, most of the activities are hold online. It is not very comfortable honestly. We have few opportunities to meet new friends. What we could do is just to go to the library and try our best to explore something helpful.
You can enjoy almost every kind of facility in this university including one of the biggest library among all UK universities.
The management of the apartment is great, with strict security measures. In addition, the location of the apartment is very good, very close to the university. There is also a park next to it, where you can run and exercise.
Good support during the pandemic
1. QS top 100. 2. Ancient campus buildings like Hogwarts. 3. Professors are all of the high qualifications and the quality of classes are high. 4. Student Union provides many social activities.
The staff is responsible, has a good class experience and helps the students carefully
The campus is European classical style, which is memorable. The library looks so cool and the facilities are science and tech feeling. The only thing that made me feel regrettable is I didn't have a class in the campus.
Good university for studying business with good professors and facilities.
Everything is ok. Nothing to complain about.
The university gives me a lot of support during the pandemic.
Good place to stay—I love the staff members
In fact, the reason why I choose this university is because of the fascinating buildings (the main building). Now I would say it does not let me disappointed. I am so moved that the SU did a lot of things supporting the international students, like sending free masks and medicine. However, due to the Covide-19, I have no chance to go through the clubs and just made a few friends who are mostly from my home country.
Beautiful college! And great teachers! But tuition is high! Anyway, a great place with high quality education! :)
Have not much to say since I have been only here nearly a month and all my lessons are online... But so far I have been to the library and it is great, i like there is a study room special for graduate students.
Glasgow university school of medicine is a fairly big and accommodating group which provide a lot of aid for our coursework and difficulties. The amenities as well are always easily accessible and nearby each other which is good for students who don’t own a car .
The campus is great! I love the buildings there and our library is great. The uni also take measures to keep students safe during the Covid-19.
One of the best universities in the U.K.
