It’s a great uni, just some professors are bad like the into maths
It’s so quiet and comfortable here. And the maintenance service is great as well. And the staff here is so nice and friendly

I would not recommend this university. There have been issues from the start of my degree. They have had issues being able to house all of the students they greedily accepted, not had enough space for certain courses to take place in person (so some courses had to go remote certain weeks despite paying in person tuition), and also have had numerous classes cancelled due to strikes caused by unfair treatment of teachers. For what you pay, especially as an international student I would not recommend this university. Glasgow as a city on the other hand is amazing and would recommend it as both a tourist and a student
Beautiful University with a wonderful campus. Large library to help us with studies and plenty of other resources available at their disposal. There are plenty of clubs and societies as well which help in cultivating extra curricular activities. Very liberating feeling to study at this university and there are plenty of pathways in case we get stuck midway at any point in any degree.
We love the night staff, precisely Carole x She’s become a great friend and acts as a huge support system.

University which is worth applying to if you’re interested in highest level of education. However, there are some subjects which are better than the others. So if I were you I would do my research beforehand.

Great time at University of Glasgow
Too many students were accepted this year which has created a housing crisis and means there are not enough spaces for classes and studying. It has negatively impacted my university experience.

I love the University of Glasgow. The faculty really cares about the students and, despite it being such a large university, it feels like a small community.
To be honest I’m not a fan of socializing so I haven’t attended much activities in the uni.
Would be a great school if they didn't over-enroll. My class sizes, especially those that are meant to be seminar style courses, are much too large.
It's an amazing university. They offer so much help with different issues, like mental and physical health, and financial troubles (excluding the fact the tuition fees for international students are extortionate). The facilities are beautiful and well maintained.
As one of the best university in Scotland it has almost the best facilities here. You can always find someone to help you in almost every field.

I’m so glad I’ve got an opportunity to study at least for one semester at this wonderful and breathtaking university!
Due to the overcapacity of students, classrooms were lacking at times.
Not very supportive and lectures often very basic with most learning being a sole textbook that doesn’t relate much to how you are assessed. Late and unhelpful feedback on assignments particularly in the business department.
it was my dream to study at UofG, and whenever I look at the main building I just feel "it hard to get over the beauty the architecture holds"

I think it is the best accommodation, very clean and tidy, very convenient to live in and the location is excellent, very convenient to the surrounding area, metro station, schools, supermarkets, etc. It is so close. The flat management model is also very user friendly and comfortable, it's a great experience to live here! I love West Village!

i like this lovely university very much. however i am not satisfied with the changing classroom every week for it is difficult to find a classroom sometimes when i do not familiar with that building’s position.
I like the University of Glasgow, it is very old and has an academic atmosphere. I believe studying here will experience a lot of different cultures because there are so many international students. And there are many classrooms in the main building, which are good for students to attend classes.

I especially enjoyed the lunchtime concerts offered by the school, where I refreshed my impressions of playing the harp and harmonica, which are essential for a well-being education. At the same time, there is a museum in the campus, which allows me to change my mood between classes and learn natural science easily.

The University of Glasgow is great, with good facilities for teachers and students. But the network is average, sometimes the network will be cut off in the classroom, the signal is sometimes good and sometimes bad, and there is basically no network outside.

Living in Firhill Court helps me get the best view of the city and enjoy free football games biweekly. All my roommates are super nice although we come from different countries. All the accommodation staff do an excellent job to help the students. This is a very convenient place, and you can walk to the nearby supermarket for around 10-15 minutes, like TESCO and Lydl. You can walk along the river and climb the small hill. This accommodation provides a free shuttle bus service from Monday to Friday, and you can walk to the university like me to exercise for 20-25 minutes. I feel so lucky to live such a nice place.
I like the uni and people here. And buildings are astonishing as well. And I joined the some clubs the students are quite nice and helpful.

I am doing a PhD here at the Beatson institute therefore I am not based on the main campus. Based on my experiences of studying at the Beatson, I can tell that UoG is a great place to do research with tons of support including lots of mental support (which I think is really important).
Glasgow University made me love Scotland. The staff were very good and professional. I learned a lot here. The facilities in the school are well equipped and you can show your talents here. Best of all, the view is so beautiful that it feels like you've entered Hogwarts School
