I’ve been staying at Willowbank for 9 months now and I’ve been having a lovely time. The staff are lovely and super helpful and as kind as possible. The location is amazing and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend students to stay here.

Willowbank located in a super place and had everything you want. This is a beautiful building with lovely countryard. Staffs are friendly and helpful, as they are always behind to help find solutions. Rooms have feasibl layout and space, and were very quiet to live here, you can enjoy a very good sleep without any noise outside. Highly recommended to live here, you will be feel at home.

I'm really pleased for the whole time I spent at Willowbank, where I've been living for most of my uni years! The staffs are nice and it is really great how fast they could deal with any issue you would have (eg: when the light is out). Plus the location is great and close to the uni. The price is pretty reasonable if you consider everything included!

Staffs are really kind! And the accommodation is really near to the school and some supermarkets so that I don’t need to wake up early to go to school! The subway stations are near too.

I'm extremely pleased with Willowbank Accommodation. The staff there are incredibly warm and friendly. On my first day, they escorted me to my unit upon arrival. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the initial room, they promptly switched me to another one. Moreover, the prices here are quite reasonable, especially when compared to West End, West Village, and Vata — it's both affordable and great value. This place is a hidden gem of student housing, boasting a beautiful exterior. Plus, it's located in a residential area, ensuring a peaceful and quiet environment. I couldn't be happier.

Willowbank transportation is convenient, there is a bus stop in front and a subway station at the back door. Saver, Tesco and sainsburry are also nearby, a five-minute walk away. It is also close to the University of Glasgow. There are many residential buildings nearby, not facing the street, so the room is very quiet.

The accommodation is actually great especially the interior design of the rooms and the staff are really catering, but the prices are INSANE. I know this is the trend with all student accommodations in the city, but that still doesn’t justify or explain it.

As a Glasgow university student this is the perfect accommodation to be in. It’s so close to the university, supermarkets and great shops all over great western road.

This review just stands for me. The staffs are nice and gentle. But overall, the accommodation suits someone but not for me for the following reasons. Firstly, they increase the price from 155 to 168 pounds per week during covid, which though was normal at that time but still, imposed an additional financial burden on students. Secondly, whenever you need help which can not be solved by emial, you can not find any staff at the reception. And it often costs you more than 30 minutes to wait then they showed up. Secondly, it only allowed students to collect parcel until 4 pm, and when you go downstairs and ask if I can collect the urgent parcel before 4 pm, it would not be allowed. Thirdly, the staffs sometimes clean the building or do their job with loud music which has been complained about by lots of residents. But they always ignore the complaint. I believed all the staff tried to do their best and enjoyed their works. I think it would be better if they can improve a bit.
A nice accomodation to stay as a student, especially in such difficult time. The staff has been helpful in terms of keeping the common areas clean and tidy, while helping out student with their needs. I really appreciate the view of the large window and the quiteness which you don't really get in a lot of student halls.
Willowbank is really good. I’m enjoying spending my time here. The social specs are great specially the cinema room as you can take your own laptop and plug in etc and watch whatever you like.
High end student accommodation in Glasgow
Willowbank is very luxurious accommodation. It is set within the West End of Glasgow and close to shops/cafes/bars. The social spaces are lovely. Theres a very large common room, gym, laundry and study rooms. It is a very quiet site which is very hard to find. I would recommend highly.
High end student accommodation. Rooms are nice and bright and finished to a high standard. Facilities are great. The common room offers ping pong and fooseball alongside plenty of chill sofas and chairs. The gym is of a good size and has plenty of equipment to use for a full workout. Best part is how close it is to university as you only need to allow a 5 min walk in the morning.
This is a lovely accommodation close to Glasgow University and a short walk into the city centre. There is also a subway station for quickness which is a 5 minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are great! However it is the staff that are the selling point of this accommodation. They are always so friendly and will take the time to chat to you everyday and make you feel like you’re at home. I couldn’t recommend this enough!
