Good place to study. If possible, i want the tuition fees to be cheaper.
ive never seen a uni with so many societies
Difficult to find group study spaces
University is great, people are really friendly and nice! Very helpful too
Overall it’s fine. Didn’t have much activities in campus
It’s a great university with very supportive staff from every department. I would suggest everyone think twice before starting a PhD.
It has been a joy to study at University of Glasgow. An excellent library, good resources and friendly faces everywhere. Lovely staff and lecturers and plenty of clubs and societies for a wide range of tastes. Campus food is quite expensive, but there are plenty of other places to eat nearby. A general sense of community and belonging! :)
Good uni but not good communication
Older university with lots of historical building that are great to look at. Joined the basketball club and was very welcomed and was able to connect to the group of girls there. WiFi is strong through campus so I never have to worry about getting assignments done.
I love this university. There are so many services to help with your studying or just living alone. The education is great along with all the various clubs and societies, however if you don’t drink, it can be a wee bit harder to find a sport where that is not the center of everything.

It’s a good university, lots of support in place over would say that it’s quite easy to become isolated- not many things feel entirely inclusive and welcoming!
I had just arrived here last winter. One night in November, I had an emergency and was sent to the hospital for surgery. I was alone and far away and felt very panicked. However, the staff of the apartment cared about me and my classmates helped me. I felt the warmth of home.I love Scotland! I love Glasgow!!I love Kelvin Court !
good very good good course good professors
Academically rigorous syllabus. Very experienced professors and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in your field of study.
Too many options and there's not enough time to explore everything
I’ve had a mixed experience with the uni but overall I’m happy
Itals good and overall experience is better
There has been noise during lunch break, and after reporting to the front desk that the bathroom floor drain is broken, no one came to repair it.
I have been a student for just over a month and am in love with the university and environment.
Sometimes hard to connect to wifi and jt takes an hour to fix
It’s alright, it’s definitely the people there that make it a nice place
For studying, there are many good spots
Maybe could you think carefully about rescheduling the kitchen services?
Very nice university, nice campus and good courses offered.
all good, I just wish the buses were better for those living in the city centre
Campus is overall nice but the wifi can be frustrating.
The campus and facilities are great, the staff are always helpful. The WiFi is very unreliable and annoying but I think that's a common issue at universities with so many students.
Pretty good, WiFi definitely needs work
Campus is great, all within a walkable distance but there is always construction work going on. Lots of great clubs and societies to join as well as sports clubs. The union always has fun events on too. The Eduroam WiFi network drops a lot but is generally ok.
Good! Proud to be an University of Glasgow student
really nice course structure at university
Love it, great uni and would recommend to everyone
Great university. Good wifi and stuff
The University of Glasgow is a fantastic place to study, and I’ve really enjoyed my time here. Lectures are engaging, and the overall experience has been great. The campus is modern and well-equipped, providing excellent spaces for both study and relaxation. There are plenty of clubs and societies, making it easy to meet people and explore new interests, I'm personally a member of multiple clubs and I enjoy time spent with them. The Students’ Union is a real highlight—well-organized, supportive, and always buzzing with activities. The careers service is extremely helpful, offering great support for further studies, internships, and job opportunities. The WiFi has also been consistently reliable for both work and entertainment. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and would highly recommend the University of Glasgow.
I am not very happy with how my course is being delivered. I wish it had more practical base to it. Currently, it is structured superficially, covering just the basics of relevant management concepts.
lots of opportunities and support
Great facilities and club/society’s to join. I’ve met so many great people and I can’t wait to keep continuing with my degree.
The campus is easy to navigate around and has many socialising spots
Too many problems, they are failing good students in order to funnel them back through summer courses. Once policy is in motion it is near impossible to change anything. Teaching quality is deplorable… they will get just about anyone to teach. Going to lectures is a waste of time but they take your attendance so it feels like you’re chained to a desk listening to old grampa talk. They try to maintain they are a good school and time pressure with assignments is high, but all of their draconian / reptilian attendance and examination processes do not help you to study. Did I come here to study or be on the run from “The Law”? Hard to focus in such situations. The school of engineering, you cannot slap AI and IT on an old broken system and pretend it doesn’t smell. One of the worst places for engineering, the way I see it.
I love the university and it provides lots of societies you can join.
excellent campus and really good supportive staff :)
Love it here, I think the university is extremely welcoming towards international students especially
The support for disability sucks but everything else is on
main campus super big!! time table is good
Bad wifi and disability support. The students representative council are great though
So glad I chose this uni have made amazing friends
My experience on campus has been alright nothing has especially stood out
I had an amazing experience at the University of Glasgow. The campus is absolutely stunning, blending historic architecture with modern facilities. The libraries and study spaces are top-notch, providing a quiet and conducive environment for both individual and group work. The staff and professors are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely care about student success. I also appreciated the variety of extracurricular activities available—there’s always something to get involved in, whether it’s academic, cultural, or social. The university is also perfectly located, with easy access to the heart of Glasgow, offering a perfect balance of city life and campus tranquility. Overall, a fantastic institution that offers a high-quality education and a vibrant student experience!
Huge range of sociteies which have all been very welcoming and friendly, beautiful campus with so many study spots, reliable wifi in every building.
I have been enjoying my stay at KHG. Its quiet, clean and room is actually worth the money.
Love University of Glasgow so far! The campus is beautiful and so many great study spots and places to eat lunch etc. The variety of clubs and societies are amazing however my only issue with some are how expensive they are. I play football and to be apart of that society we are required to pay for a full year gym membership which was £175 alongside the £50 fee to join the club which is £225 altogether which is crazy and not great when trying to budget in rent and groceries nevermind a gym membership you don’t want. However the facilities and the societies themselves are great and a great way to make new friends the only bad thing to say is the price. The SU is good fun and there’s lots of things on all the time. Careers team is great, I got my part time job through one of their part time jobs fair which was amazing!!
Its good, not amazing nie bad.
Really liked the campus’s and its facilities
Good apartment! Staffs are very nice and friendly😊
Beautiful campus and also fairly easy to get around in foot.
Overall, I enjoy the University of Glasgow :)
I’ve been here for not too long but it’s great so far
As a student at the University of Glasgow, my experience has been both academically enriching and personally rewarding. The university, with its historic yet modern campus, provides an inspiring environment for learning and personal growth.
I love my uni, the study spaces are good, but I feel like they should have nap spaces as well
I always go to classes with my friends who live in the same building with me, which makes me feel good.
University of Glasgow is beautiful!!!
Old building and poor wifi connection.
beautiful and great. I have a lot of good memories here.
All in all a very good place to study. However some lectures English is extremely difficult to understand, as someone born and raised in the UK.
Good uni, wonderful courses and lecturers and i’ve felt really welcomed here. beautiful campus and incredible facilities, every building feels well looked after and i have settled into my first year of studies really well and had a great time so far. the only problem i would raise is the fact that the uni invests heavily in arms manufacturers who profit off of the current genocide in Gaza and has failed to have meaningful and productive dialogue with student societies about divesting from arms. They continue to invest in things that are unjustifiable and recently hosted someone who has been vocal in his support of the IOF.
Very good vibes, friendly atmosphere with loads of social events and opportunities to make good friends :)
Very good university. Lecturers are very friendly and willing to help
I've truly enjoyed my time living in this dormitory. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it feel like a second home. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide both comfort and functionality. The common areas are spacious and perfect for socializing or studying in a relaxed environment. What I appreciate most is the sense of community here – it’s easy to connect with others, and the management is always responsive and helpful. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to focus or a friendly environment to make memories, this dorm has it all. Highly recommended! Yuge Ma
Campus is nice and buildings are good for studying, library is constantly full during exam season, the clubs are fun especially the sports team and the union do a good job at making events
Please choose the University of Glasgow, you won't regret it!
The living experience is quite good. It's a bit far from the school, but very close to the supermarket. The elevator and Wi-Fi in the apartment are always breaking down, which has caused some inconvenience.Living here is a good choice, but not the best one.
Very good school, very good staff and lecturers.
I love studying here but wish societies were more welcoming and open
I really like this university. The teachers are really kind and they all like to help you with any questions
Great university, can’t complain about anything really.
Beautiful campus and historical architecture. Big clubs are usually very social, such as the Boxing Society. I would say that Careers services offers many learning events but high quality events are hard to find.
I’d highly recommend the University of Glasgow to any potential students. It is a strong choice because of the academic experience, vibrant student life, and great location. It can be an ideal choice for students who want to have a dynamic university experience and can be an excellent place for both personal and academic growth.
Best choice! Staff is really nice!
incredibly beautiful campus that gives you good exercise!
Fine accommodation, Cairncross was better though
Loving uni so far, great study buildings and the staff are really good, particularly at responding to emails!! I’m really enjoying my course so far.
It has been an exciting experience as I have made many friends from different backgrounds and the workload has been good and engaging with my topics. It has been fun to study a subject that I am interested in.
wifi can drop off sometimes but you can usually get back on prertty quick
The union is great- beer bar is lovely and the campus is great for socialising and studying
Fanstastic opportunities and support.
It’s a good university but cold up here
For amenities it's good, staffs are friendly just improve the security please
lovely space, poor wifi at times and hard to connect
Gym facilities are poor. Could be much better. Always loose WiFi connection in the JMS building. Very annoying. Other than that great stuff.
The university is so diverse in courses and the facilities are all great. There is a broad range of sports and societies for everyone
its generally awright thats what i would say on that matter
It’s very good and very close to university of Glasgow
very nice, the pubkic area is very clean and staffs are very kind. I really like the environment of this house very much! such a great experience. I enjoyed this apartment very much
Nice environment, nice construction
Nice and see you next year! Hope we have nice 2yr in the place.
I really enjoyed studying around campus as the facilities available were really robust and it wasn’t difficult finding a space to study. The student portal also provided information about the availability of study spaces, which was really helpful.
An excellent university with a range of societies and events. Lectures can varying in quality by my dedicated course lectures were excellent. Very welcoming to LGBTQ students
The dormitory gave me a good experience, the environment is quiet everyday, there are two supermarkets nearby to make my life very convenient, 15 to 20 minutes away from the school. Usually have any problems the staff will be very active to help solve!
I really appreciate the facilities and the convenience of the campus and I wish I could find a seat during the exam week.
