I am not familiar with clubs and student union. But the Uni Gym, library and eco-hub are all great places for me xxx
Positive: lovely new buildings, easy to walk around, good food in the Unions cafe. A lot of support and societies to join. Amazing views in the taller buildings. Negative: not enough study spaces, older buildings are very hard to navigate. So many international students that dont speak fluent english and make group works difficult (no support when this happen in my courses).
The campus has good facilities, and Wi-Fi is available around the building and campus. However, the strange thing is that all my electronic devices connect well except for my phone. If your major has on-campus exams, you might have several courses with exam times that are very close to each other. In addition, some exam venues (such as Kelvin Hall and the Scottish Event Campus) are not part of the university campus, so it's advisable to familiarise yourself with the locations in advance to ensure you can find the correct venue on exam day.
It's a really good university with lots of support and help available, most of the staff are really kind and helpful. There are so many societies and sports clubs, there's something for everyone and you're guaranteed to find something you enjoy. I've made so many good friends from the societies I've joined, it's so worth it to get involved! My only complaints are with the Wifi, it's hard to get logged in at first and it sometimes goes down for periods at a time; and in the popular study spaces it can be difficult to get a space sometimes during term / busy periods
It is good, the academic atmosphere is strong, and the amenities are very convenient

This apartment exceeded my expectations! The rooms are spacious, bright, and well-equipped, with everything clean and tidy. The location is incredibly convenient, with supermarkets, restaurants, and public transportation nearby. The staff are very friendly and responsive, quickly addressing any issues. Overall, it was a fantastic living experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and great-value place to stay!
Good experience here! I really enjoy here
All the facilities are perfect. It's just like home! Staffs here are soooo friendly. Really like this place!
Very good check-in experience, very good socializing, this apartment is very good, very good, super unbeatable, good location, convenient shopping, value for money, good network, very friendly, I really like living here
I feel incredibly lucky to be a student at the University of Glasgow. I am deeply honored to be part of such an institution. The university is a perfect example of how the environment and care provided can shape not only how students feel about their classes but also about themselves. Thank you for creating such a supportive and inspiring atmosphere.
The University is academically great, but a lot of other facilities need urgent attention. Cleanliness in study spaces and toilets is a major concern, University accommodation is over-priced and as far as career service goes, international students are left high and dry.
I’m really glad I chose to study at the University of Glasgow. The campus is outstanding, offering state-of-the-art facilities that make both studying and relaxing easy and enjoyable. The variety of clubs and societies provides great opportunities to meet new people, pursue hobbies, and stay active outside of academics. The Students' Union is a real highlight – it’s organised, vibrant, and full of fun activities. The support available from the Careers Service is excellent, with dedicated guidance to help with placements, further studies, or finding graduate jobs. Lastly, the Wi-Fi and internet access across the campus is perfect, ensuring that I can always stay connected for both studying and entertainment. Overall, the University of Glasgow has provided me with an incredible university experience.
I have felt extremely welcome at the university of Glasgow. The campus has a mix of modernity and history, and is close to a variety of different shops and restaurants, and includes a number of different places to study.
Fantastic experience and supportive staff inclusive teachers
Overall very good, teachers very nice, very good learning experience in here!
A good university with great career office
love my uni to be honest. Such a place to be in
The University of Glasgow is renowned for its academic excellence, historic campus, and diverse community. It offers strong student support and is located in the vibrant West End, surrounded by cultural attractions. A great choice for both academics and overall student experience!
I had an excellent accommodation experience here, especially on sunny days when the sunlight streams into the room, it's particularly beautiful. The facilities here are all new and there are many interesting activities. I am very glad that I chose this apartment for the year.
I think Bridle Works is the best private student accommodation in the UK 💜 Most of the staffs are so kind and the rooftop is soooo pretty 🥰 I was able to make friends and play with many facilities 😆 I can drink free coffee on the ground floor and do free laundry in my kitchen everyday. Furthermore, the staffs make good events frequently. A disadvantage is.. internet/wifi. Those could be felt quite slower and more unstable than Korea because these are always fast and stable anywhere in Korea but the British Internet/wi-fi/mobile service is quite slow and unstable😔 Despite all these nice facilities and services, rental fee is also quite cost-effective comparing to another student accommodations ^^
It has been a nice experience and lovely to meet new people. I have faced a number of internet connect issue during my time
very nice and the worker here are nice too
I love course but a little bit tired
Colleen and Irwin as well as Graham are so friendly
This accommodation has been a wonderful choice! The location is incredibly convenient—close to campus with great access to public transport and local amenities. The staff here are friendly, professional, and always responsive to any requests or questions, making it a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I would highly recommend this residence to anyone looking for a supportive and well-situated living experience.
The staffs are very nice~ environment is pretty good.
I think it's very nice. I love it. There are lots of activities and the front desk is very enthusiastic about helping every resident
so glad to be here. Most things are excellent
Great experience, stunning campus and with a ample space for students in libraries.
The university has a lot of options for you to expand on your skills and interests apart from studies. It cares a lot about your mental health too which is very important.
Nice campus and lovely location, do wish dealing with the different services through the school (like student finance services) was easier. They take forever to respond and when I go to the Fraser building to ask questions in person, often times I get conflicting information. Other than that I've enjoyed my time up here so far
Main study building (James McCune Smith, known as JMS) is somehow both absolutely massive and constantly full. It's often hard to find study spaces.
So far The University of Glasgow has everything I could wish for in my PhD studies.
It is one of the best University in all of the UK
Cairncross is in a great location and I've got good wifi
All ok generally but the university is quite crowded so can be tough getting study space and the wifi can be quite bad
Overall, it's great. Wonderful lecturers, interesting lectures and group discussions. However, most cafés on campus are expensive as hell. Also, some rooms/lecture theaters can be very warm/cold compared to others. Plus, you have to walk a lot there, sometimes a bit too much if you have lectures at the opposite sides of campus one after the other. But it's still very nice.
campus is good societies are varied and of high quality, with friendly and engaging members two student unions with cheap beer and good food, although they're on the periphery of the campus careers service runs careers fare with high profile and desirable exhibitors attending and they also send out emails of current opportunities and part time work eduroam is difficult to connect to and doesn't run well, same can be said about the visitor wifi
Loads of study space locations with high quality amenities and resources. Helps students feel privileged with perks and the career service is welcoming and insightful
Good student job hub, WiFi good but can cut out
I love the Uni of Glasgow. The campus is stunning, there are so many pretty walks nearby, and you’re a stones throw away from the city centre, so night life definitely isn’t an issue! As a dental student, the amount of support I receive is amazing. Everyone is trying to help me with everything. I couldn’t recommend this uni more. It’s the perfect blend of a busy city, and scenic park.
2 university unions (GUU and QMU), both of which had a great deal of stuff every week, and membership for both was free so you could get discounts and stuff at no extra cost! So many clubs and societies to join, not even counting the sport clubs and the university gym! The internet was sometimes tricky, but for how many people are on it, 99/100 it worked and it was always fast. So many facilities on campus for studying, although you may be limited for seats in the popular areas, there's always somewhere you can go, and people get really creative with it. Good careers service, they're always happy to help out, and send emails regularly about new opportunities.
The campus is very nice, however some areas are difficult to find (Adam Smith). There are a lot of societies and many events done by the unions.
The university campus is gorgeous and with all the classes spread out encourages students to move about and explore the offered facilities and societies. The WiFi could always be better though.
It is very easy to get what you need at the University because the campus has all the facilities you may need.
So far, I love everything in Glasgow.
Overall a great uni. They definitely get you working and prepared for life after uni.
Very good experience in the campus
University campus is stunning and pleasant to walk around. Facilities are decent and well equipped
Studying at the University of Glasgow has been an amazing experience. The campus is stunning, with its historic buildings and beautiful green spaces. Academically, the university offers a wide range of programs and the professors are knowledgeable and supportive.
I love my university, it’s top 100 and our campus are beautiful.
I have not found University of Glasgow to be a great experience due to the limited study spaces for the number of students they take on, while still having online classes?? Also there is a lack of support and care for its students. A lot of engineering lecturers have poor teaching skills, even making it difficult to teach yourself with their resources. The union is old fashioned and needs updating. Tuition fees are so high, yet it doesn’t feel like much money goes into improving the student experience.
The resources of career and study are really nice. The first week activities are interesting.
Choosing University of Glasgow is one of the best decisions I made. The faculty, facilities and environment of the University is top notch.
I would like to know a more comprehensive summary of university activities. You know, for Chinese students, we don't often use Instagram, so we miss out on a lot of information about club activities, which makes me quite frustrated.
The university is beautiful and the weather here is comfortable
Is is a wonderful experience being here.
Wonderful campus, and good student societies and union, however the teaching and academic side is greatly lacking, especially in my course. They couldn't give less of a damn about the students if possible.
The University has amazing facilities and services which have helped me as I study my degree, as well as excellent educators and course content.
The University is really good.
Eduroam is the usual but apart from that no complaints! UGRacing is fantastic.
Great facilities, great Lecturers and vibe of the place
I'm international exchange student here, so I can't much compare with other UK Universities, however it is much better quality of everything especially comparing with my home Institution
The campus buildings are well equipped and maintained, although the wifi is a little spotty in some areas.
A very diverse university with a beautiful campus and excellent support systems.
Alright but not amazing. Pastoral support lacking
Im proud to be in the university. Top 100
Everything is good except for the wifi!
Uni wifi is everywhere so its very handy when you are low on wifi
This is a school with a long history, where I deeply realized the cultural heritage of the school. I like every brick and tile here very much, and I will take a camera to record it from time to time.At the same time, teachers and classmates are also very friendly, which makes me more comfortable in my study. I believe that my study in the coming year will be very exciting.
Everyone in the UoG are friendly. They are willing to help me.
Enjoying the university doing medicine, great facilities and teaching. Could work on the parking facilities for commuting students.
The accommodation experience is very good, and it is the most cost-effective student apartment in Glasgow. It is not only very close to the school, but also very affordable. The apartment team is very friendly and the service is particularly good. The facilities are complete and the room is also very large. Thank you for giving me a wonderful starting point for my trip in Glasgow.
I would say Glasgow university is a great place to study and it offers so much and gives a real sense of diversity
I love being a student in a Scottish university!
Everything is good and I appreciate that I can study here
good place Im happy to recommend it to everyone
its a nice play, i love the architecture and style here
Enjoyed my time at the uni. Loved the stress relief events organised closer to exams.
very nice, very kind, very helpful staff
goodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgood
Nice environment. Overall had a great experience
Willowbank located is a super place, with everything you want. It is very convenient as there are two subway station around here, just 5 minutes walking distance. Willowbank looks like a beautiful building and has a lovely countryard. Staffs are friendly and helpful, no matter whay you are looking for, they are always behind and help find solutions. Room has feasible layout and space, and it was quiet at night, you can enjoy a good sleep without any noisy outside. Highly recommended to live here, you will feel like home.
The accommodation is so good, and thanks school
Everything's fine. Hope that oneday I could study my PHD here.
Great university, very prestigious and hospitable
Considering its facility, location, and price, it might be the best student accommodation you can find in Glasgow. Definitely my best decision to choose this accommodation!
Hyndland House provides an exceptional living experience with its excellent location, outstanding property management, impeccable cleanliness, inviting social spaces, vibrant social experience, and reliable internet connection. The staff, including Erwin and Colleen, are incredibly prompt in responding to all the residents' needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Hyndland House is truly a home. We celebrate events from different cultures, mingle with the staff, and enjoy plenty of free food during these moments. I would highly recommend Hyndland House to those studying at the University of Glasgow, particularly students from the Adam Smith Business School.
Would highly recommend uni of Glasgow to anyone
Great university, very social and fun
Amazing people, big room with lovely view. I wish I could stay another year. Ewa and Ali are very helpful and nice.
The uni itself is nice, just kind of standard, what you'd expect.
Wifi often Biggs out in the university buildings and not enough study space generally.
Didn't spend much time on campus. It was nice to look at but none of the societies or events really drew me in (I was a postgraduate student however, so that could have something to do with it.) It was alright in terms of general facilities, such as study areas and wifi.
I have absolutely enjoyed my time here at the University of Glasgow so far. The accommodations are superb and the faculty, custodians, and staff are beyond helpful.
Could have better wifi, but other than that it’s all right
Wonderful experience at the university with a lot of opportunities.
This university is amazing for international students!
i love uofg! wonderful place and love my tutors and professors.
