I've had a good time at the University - especially in regards to extracurricular participation. The campus is nice, and always active during the semester.
Good university. There is not much to complain about if you are a STEM student.

I have been very happy with my experience in University of Southampton.
Had many problems connecting to eduroam at NOCS, connection unreliable and many computers out of date or not working. Highfield has good facilities but nothing outstanding. Clubs and societies are a joke, very expensive and badly organised. A lot of information on social pages is outdated and casual sports basically don't exist unless you already know someone in the very small group of people involved. Serendipity was a disaster that you had to book tickets for and there werent enough for all the students who wanted to go. What makes NOCS good is the teaching and the experienced individuals present in the building as well as frequent career events and networking opportunities.

The school is not too far away from the city center. It is convenient to take a bus to school
Great facilities with lots of quiet spaces for both work and leisure. Also not far from much of the city bustle of the high street with lots of student focus.
My university is very good, especially the campus is beautiful, except some of the courses are a bit difficult and there are too many online classes.
Good connection for studying and entertainment in various spots around the buildings. Good communication and generally helpful careers service.

I've only really had 2 terms worth of in-person university experience, and am now in my third year, thanks to Covid, when I believe we could have had Semester 2 of 2020-21 with a hybrid model, but generally since being back this year things have been much better. I don't understand why we still need to wear masks all the time though when the law says we don't need to. Additionally, some library staff are quite rude and tell you to put a mask on when they are not wearing one/ correctly.
Nice and luvely campus life. Friendly students and sociaties.

Very organized university with a beautiful campus
Modern and up to date facilities (apart from a few older buildings) with internet around all the campuses with lightning fast speeds (even on mobile devices) along with a great bus service between campuses & halls

University has plenty to do for students but getting the support you need can be difficult
Enjoyable university experience
Great university with fantastic support from staff in the biological sciences department. Lecturers are extremely helpful also! Very reasonable deadlines for assignments and very understanding of extenuating circumstances eg positive tests for COVID19
I have enjoyed my time at Southampton, enjoyed the sports societies and felt well supported within my department but some of the enabling services could be improved
A good range of facilities, staff helpful and friendly. Students union and sport and well-being could communicate with clubs more in regards to bookings and upcoming events.

The university is okay, not the best, not the worst. The student union has slacked since 2019 however especially with the change in the foods provided.
I am now in my final year at Southampton and despite disruptions caused by COVID-19, it has been a great time!

I transitioned from the Malaysian campus, and the university made the experience so smooth and easy. The campus is vibrant, with very helpful staff. Clubs and societies make the student life so much better, with there always having something to do.

The University of Southampton has great facilities and offers a wide range of clubs and societies to join. The location of the university is good as it isn't too far from the city centre but is also close to a number of other locations that might be of interest.
The school bus driver is great! The staff are very friendly!

The education supporting team of University of Southampton can give students sufficient support to meet the related needs!
The uni has done its best to try keep within the new standards of education whether this be limiting face to face classes and moving them online however they have done okay with performing this
Haven’t really had a chance to explore it due to COVID
I did my PhD in here, I am sure you wouldn't like it. In the end, also they gave you a very vague degree which says xxx awarded doctor of philosophy. When one asks for a more precise degree, they just try to ignore it. Also, the supervisory team is not good.

The University of Southampton is ranked 90th in the latest QS rankings. I would love to see more people come to study at the University of Southampton. It has beautiful environment and the school has great facilities. The school can help you with any problems you may have in studying or living. The professors are very patient and are willing to answer students' academic questions.

Unfortunately due to the epidemic, there was not a lot of access to campus facilities, but the few offline lessons were a good experience.
All good here. The only thing is, student union sucks
TODAY my radiator didn't work, and the staff helps me quickly and changed another one. It's really nice to have such high speed service.😃

It’s been fun this year, made the best of what we can
I am studying at the Business School of the University of Southampton. During my study here, the school can provide sufficient teaching resources, and the course arrangement is reasonable and professional.
I have only been to campus twice due to the pandemic, so I give four stars to most of the categories. But the student union is trying to help us international student get a tuition fee discount. So I give five stars.
Great environment for studying, and quite useful courses that enhance my skill for helping my further career. Overall, it was a tough year for me but I also thankful that what did I learn from this university.
I like the service of my university. When I came to UK the university arrange a taxi to pick from London and took me to the accommodation safely.

No space for acting and performance. We had no specific space and were constantly moved from room to room
The university of Southampton is great in many aspects for students. There are lots of opportunities and successful academic staff. My only complaint is not having an office as a PhD student, but I think this is an exception for my department (WSA) Normally you have an office if you are a PhD student here. I think uni of Southampton is one of the best universities to be a researcher.
I haven’t experienced Any of thee due to Covid so I can’t comment.
I really enjoy my course and the university staff are great. We have access to a lot of top equipment (when the university is open) and there are lots of nice places to sit and study. We also have access to a lot of support in terms of money and mental health, which has been very important this year for a lot of people.
All of these are very good!!!

I am a student at the University of Southampton. The University is not bad, but some professors speak English with very strong accents, these accents cannot be understood by me. (Kind of European, and Chinese accents) But we have many professors who speak in an English accent which is good and I can understand them well.
Great university and a nice city to live in overall. Facilities are nice and the courses are brilliant.
I have recently moved to Cumberland Place and I recommend anyone to move in here as it is in the midst convenient location, has good facilities and building staff are very kind and helpful.
Great university... great facilities for Economics and Finance students including Bloomberg Terminal which a lot of other universities do not have.
