Only negatives would be that there is little way to socialise without drinking, or that sport and society sign ups on occur on one day rather than multiple opportunities throughout the year
Easy buildings to find, lots of help advice and different services
I've not really been involved in the city university as I'm usually on the other campus.
Love it here. I feel so at home. Always an event on.
Done a masters here and started a PhD ... Great learning environment and staff. There is much to be desired though when it comes to for instance the financial and IT services.
Great year so far roll on year two
Couldn't fault my university experience
Love uni, it's a well social place and you meet everyone! Never a dull moment
Really enjoying being a student at Northumbria haven't got involved in much so can't give a fair assessment
Overall a good university! Love the city of Newcastle. It's vibrant, fun, and there is always something to do. If you're looking for something a bit more traditional, perhaps look at other unis.
Great social atmosphere, loads of likeminded people and very supportive.
Best university in the north east for the experience
A brilliant university; I'm really glad to have come here. A large campus and everything is easy to get access to! There's a 24/7 Library as well as a university shop, bar and student union in the same area
Newcastle is an amazing city to be able to live in and Nirthumbria university provides countless opportunities for you to get involved in societies, clubs and other activities, at Northumbria your degree is just the beginning
An amazing experience, a place that sets you up for life!
Everything you'll ever need within walking distance, high-quality facilities and fantastic societies
It's an amazing university with an incredible atmosphere whether you're on campus or in the accommodations.
Decent uni with a lot of facilities.
the facilities here at great from the gym to the numerous discounted Starbucks
Awesome experience, great campus and the people are really, really nice!
The University is very modern, clean and the Sports Central is great for all gym/sport buffs, although v. busy on an evening
All the facilities you could need with award winning gym and library. Lecturers extremely helpful and take time to help you. Student feedback is wholeheartedly welcomed and action taken upon the feedback which is extremely refreshing! Nightlife is quite frankly the best in the UK.
Absolutely amazing uni life! People from all over the country and world and a uni with one of the best nightlife's in the country! Lots of newly built accommodation too.
All the things from programme modules, teaching facilities (esp sport centre), reachable campus site & accommodations are excellent!
the lecturers and tutors are very helpful! you can get many friends if you join the societies or volunteer because the students are very friendly either the local and the international students :)
Northumbria university makes you enjoy Monday's. There's always a buzzing atmosphere! It's a great place to study, meet people and it's in the best city!
I love being a student at Northumbria Uni, Newcastle! Brill first year so far :)
Love Northumbria campus....great facilities to work in
Wi-fi went off all the time but the university was amazing! Loved my first year
Love it here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The labs are modern and great to work in as well
It's a great uni. Think more events need to happen and not just drinking all the time
Internet is poor and slow in common areas. There are lots of job opportunities presented to students with regular e-mails getting sent out almost daily for new things.
I can't imagine being anywhere else. The students union puts on some brilliant events, its the only Union to be at on St Patrick's day!
SU is the best part of the uni.
Best experience of first year was definitely St Patrick's day at the SU, best event all year
Brilliant University, Amazing experience, Unforgettable memories.
Humble uni, it's really casual and gives a balanced uni experience.
law at northumbria
You can do an MLAW course which incorporates your undergraduate with a masters level qualification and either the bar professional training course or the solicitors route The lecturers are great most of them in the law school are solicitors or barristers some still practicing. The law block is brand new and has mock court rooms Sports central is brand new and has great facilities There's always plenty of the books needed for the course at the library You get free print credits
Cons?
The main library is always pretty busy
The pool is open to the public so in the evenings it gets pretty busy
