Northumbria is a fantastic University, where there’s lots of amenities to aid study, such as the library. The library includes lots of different areas for study such as a place for group work. My Psychology course is great, where there’s lots to learn and the lecturers are helpful.
always help available if needed, campus is location is very convenient
I go to Coach Lane Campus; I enjoy the facilities here with a staffed coffee shop that sells meal deals. The wifi connection is reasonable, plenty of library facilities & helpful staff.

On my first week I found it really easy getting to know people and meeting my tutors was great I think the facilities could’ve been better with providing the materials for my course. The campus itself is very clean and close together so doesn’t take too long to get from one building to another.
The location is amazing, it’s really easy to get to and the staff are lovely. The facilities are great and they treat you really well
Good university but not as good as newcastle. Staff take a while to reply if you message them or on the ask for help service
The union is great with good events, the WiFi isnt very good

Northumbria is a really great university but it has some of its problems like the wifi sometimes doesnt work or have low signals. The Career service team is not easy accessible like the appointments are not easy to get. Overall its a good university, the location is really nice its in city center
I went from America to Northumbria.No one at this university is responsive,even if you fail a module by their own mistake.Ask4help=people getting paid not to reply or don't know the answer to the questions. IT,horrible,for 2 years I couldn't reach my portal like other students,they sent a link to my email and through that I went to another page and then into my portal.The IT of a university was not able to fix my username/password,and finally the IT group said sorry we don't know how to fix it,I missed many classes the first two week.I told ask4help I paid 15k fees and I don't have a normal way of entering my portal,they said,we don't care how much you paid,it's not our job.Our group leader changed every 2 months and NO ONE ever knew the new group leader not even tutors.Some tutors had heavy accents,we barely understood them,don't they have interviews before getting hired, why Northumbria hires tutors who cannot speak English properly,I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND NORTHUMBRIA TO ANYONE
Bare minimum is done for the students
Feels very casual and friendly, can always go to Ask4Help desk located in the library if you have any questions. Library is 24/7 but varies on end of term/holidays (should take into consideration some students have extensions and may need access). Habita is good fun especially for karaoke but food can be questionable.
Great experience, good professors. Great people and facilities.
The first thing that caught my attention are the computers at every corner of the law and business school. It is very convenient if you do not have your laptop with you and need to finish some work at University. There are amazing tutors who are willing to stay back and give 1 to 1 session for you to ask questions and clarify any doubts. My experience at Northumbria University have been great so far and I do not regret my decision.
A good university! Superb place
I am a second year CompSci major. Facilities are great. A lot of equipment (computers, printers, etc) available at CIS building or the library. The library is a great place to study. The clubs for sports are really good, you can try something new or continue practicing your sport in great facilities. Other clubs depend on how active they are, would recommend the salsa club. The gym is great but super busy especially during weekdays. The Career service is helpful, offering one on one help as well as presentations and connection to employers, great help when applying for placements as well. Internet always available and fast. Tutors and professors really vary depending on the module, but they listen to feedback at end of year and support you with any issues. Social events are always being organised. Overall really good.
Tutors are nice and most of them very helpful and want you to do good, ask4help has very slow replies and does not really take into consideration students circumstances but leader of department said she will make sure problems don't happen again. Otherwise people are nice

I did an MSc distance learning course. I had a terrible experience. Getting any help from tutors or lecturers was very difficult. Lectures were poor quality and I hardly learnt anything for my working career. The university only wanted the money. I would not recommend this university. They couldn't organise a fire in a match factory

Everything is ok, except the research methodology team for master level. The module for (Dissertation/ Consultancy / Management Inquiry), is poorly organized and it doesnt provide proper guidance for master students choose the best at Business School.

Graphic Design studios, Mac Labs, Photography studios and making spaces are all top of the range, fully kitted out spaces for being creative. The library is also by far the best I have ever used. Staff are always on hand to help and encourage you to make the most of all of the facilities available. Would highly recommend Northumbria to anyone studying a creative subject.

Being on the Automotive Engineering course, I have limited experience with most facilities. Those related to engineering however, I can say are great! Workshop available through the week to do whatever you want (drills, belt sanders, etc), 3D printing lab, workspaces with many PCs with more than enough software to tinker with, and labs with more specialist equipment for sections such as fluid dynamics, material engineering, etc. Although I’ve only had the opportunity to use it once, the wind tunnel on campus is a pretty cool feature! I’ve only given the societies/clubs section 4 stars because I’m in a society (go-karting society) and have only done 1 race in nearly 3 years, which is a shame. It may be due to a lack of funding, but there’s been (as far as I’m aware) zero communication on the matter. I think there are a good amount of societies but it’s been a while since I checked. The students union is only rated 4 stars because I don’t have much experience with it, unfortunately.

Really fantastic university, only issue I have is that your mobile data doesn’t work in certain parts of the building (you’re encouraged to use the universities Wi-Fi instead) but other than that the staff and utilities are fantastic

Wasn’t originally my first choice but they have worked really hard to ensure that I get my degree. Very social and great location. The campus is clean and easy to get around
