Studying Mass Communications in my final year at Northumbria University was an enriching and fulfilling experience. The program provided a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of Mass Media, giving me more new skills and knowledge necessary for a career in the field. The engaging coursework, experienced faculty, and opportunities for hands-on learning with real-life case studies were invaluable in preparing me for the professional world. Additionally, the supportive academic environment and vibrant campus community made my final year memorable and enjoyable. Moreover, the career help was definitely a plus-point among all, I am able to get to new places quicker and get job quicker (whether it's part-time, internships, or full time) due to the sources and counseling help they provided. Overall, I am grateful for the education I received at Northumbria University and confident that the knowledge has been crafted for students future endeavors in Mass Communications.

I did an MSc distance learning course. I had a terrible experience. Getting any help from tutors or lecturers was very difficult. Lectures were poor quality and I hardly learnt anything for my working career. The university only wanted the money. I would not recommend this university. They couldn't organise a fire in a match factory

Everything is ok, except the research methodology team for master level. The module for (Dissertation/ Consultancy / Management Inquiry), is poorly organized and it doesnt provide proper guidance for master students choose the best at Business School.
Love the teaching. Can’t wait to discover more about NU!

Graphic Design studios, Mac Labs, Photography studios and making spaces are all top of the range, fully kitted out spaces for being creative. The library is also by far the best I have ever used. Staff are always on hand to help and encourage you to make the most of all of the facilities available. Would highly recommend Northumbria to anyone studying a creative subject.

Being on the Automotive Engineering course, I have limited experience with most facilities. Those related to engineering however, I can say are great! Workshop available through the week to do whatever you want (drills, belt sanders, etc), 3D printing lab, workspaces with many PCs with more than enough software to tinker with, and labs with more specialist equipment for sections such as fluid dynamics, material engineering, etc. Although I’ve only had the opportunity to use it once, the wind tunnel on campus is a pretty cool feature! I’ve only given the societies/clubs section 4 stars because I’m in a society (go-karting society) and have only done 1 race in nearly 3 years, which is a shame. It may be due to a lack of funding, but there’s been (as far as I’m aware) zero communication on the matter. I think there are a good amount of societies but it’s been a while since I checked. The students union is only rated 4 stars because I don’t have much experience with it, unfortunately.

Northumbria University is a modern and organised university. The university supports its students in every way possible and tries to make the students’ experience as enjoyable and educational as possible.
I love going into university, especially my building. I have my own space and access to everything I need. Me and my friends meet at habita for social time - its great !

Northumbria University offers a wide range of services and clubs that you can us/join whilst doing your course. The staff are really helpful.

Really fantastic university, only issue I have is that your mobile data doesn’t work in certain parts of the building (you’re encouraged to use the universities Wi-Fi instead) but other than that the staff and utilities are fantastic

Northumbria University has a range of different resources to have fun on campus! There are so many different events happening + things to get involved in. It is very lively, and there is lots of academic support also.
University campus is great and is just a five minute walk from quay point studios

Northumbria is a great uni. It has a lovely campus and had great clubs. Plus Newcastle is a great place to live.
University is great, very modern, the societies available make it such a good place to meet people and the union to a lot to ring the different courses together with habita and freshers events

Although my first year was tough due to Covid and cyber attack being back in person is so much better. They have helped so much with technical issues, student mental health and overall welcoming us back to campus
I have enjoyed my study with Northumbria, There are various clubs and societies. In addition, the teaching faculty are understanding and friendly. The university is modern and has many sites for students to enjoy. In addition, there are plenty of free courses and trainings. The highlight of my journey is that the university actually listens and cares about the students, they are not following some rule book. Actually they are flexible and modern.
All I can say is that Northumbia University is top notch
