Perfect to me! Suited to my needs and passions
Overall a good university. It has all the facilities and services as some of the best university in the world
Great! No major concerns with NU.
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the facilities and the campus at Northumbria University. Especially, because I’m a science student, the access and the variety equipments that we can use in the labs.I really like the fact that the campus is close to city centre and its close to get anywhere. The only thing that I could say is that available rooms for lectures are quite limited and the university library don’t have access to some articles and books that are significant for my area of study.
Northumbria Univeristy is definetly does not provide the best facilities in comparison to other Uni's, however it offers what it is needed with a stable wifi in most places across the campus, the lecture halls and classrooms can vary in comfot/layout/general ease-of-use. At Northumbria there is a variety of societies and clubs offered and you are introduced to them during the sport + socieities fair during freshers week of your first year.
The uni is good at what it does and I have few complaints. My two biggest issues would probably be the lack of space to wait at in between lessons. The uni has extensive areas for hangouts and studying, but due to the abundance of students these can fill up quickly. Another issue would probably be the timetable. I live away from the uni and have to get the train everyday so when I have a 4 hour gap in between lessons or when I have to come in for a single hourlong talk it can be frustrating.
I really enjoy the facilities provided by my university. The libraries, labs, and study spaces are well-equipped and easy to access. I also like the employability prospects, especially since there are opportunities to attend graduate jobs and placements fairs, webinars hosted by prospective employers, internships, and placement programmes. The social atmosphere at Northumbria is very inclusive, diverse, and friendly, and the university is located near the city centre where it is easy to explore and find things to do. The campus is also very welcoming and vibrant, and there are opportunities to start or to become a member of a society where you can meet like-minded people, and make new friends. There are also great student support services that are able to provide students with mental health and well-being support, as well as information on how to manage stress. There are many extracurricular activities available, such as clubs, sports, and societies, which can help students to unwind.
Overall the University is very well structured and provides what is needed to a good extent, however my classes are quite spread out in terms of location and I find myself moving from one end of the campus to the other often, it would be mire convenient I'd my classes where put in good proximity to eachother
Northumbria university life is incredible journey of my life
Campus is easy to navigate. Plenty of student Union activities and societies. Lots of facilities like labs and library. Great teachers and resources for studying. Only issue is with slow WiFi at times in lecture rooms.
Campus is lovely, always clean and easy to navigate. Societies are welcoming and inclusive, and so much fun. The students union is decent prices and the quiz is good craic.
wifi in lecture halls isn’t the best, campus is nice but surrounding area is less so
Great university overall. Campus is amazing
Absolutely love the atmosphere and people. It's a lovely place to study and I really enjoy learning here.

My time at Northumbria University was an unforgettable experience that shaped both my academic and personal life. As a pre-med student, I was constantly pushed to think critically and apply my knowledge in practical ways, thanks to the incredible support and mentorship of the faculty. The university’s vibrant and diverse community allowed me to form meaningful connections with people from all over the world. These friendships were invaluable, especially when I struggled with homesickness or the pressures of coursework. The collaborative environment not only helped me grow academically but also made me feel at home in a foreign country. While there were challenges along the way, the resilience I developed through those tough moments has been one of my greatest takeaways. My journey at Northumbria has left me with lasting memories, lifelong friendships, and the confidence to embrace whatever comes next. -Rahul Harlapur

Amazing opportunities and staff
Id reccomend everyone to go to northumbria I think its an amazing university
A great uni to study at and great city to be in with loads of great accommodations nearby
The staff are good and do their best to make sure that you have understood everything that they have taught.
The accommodation is a 2 minute walk to the campus which is amazing. There are plenty of clubs and societies to join, which all look great, personally I didn’t join any as I have a part time job but from friends I have heard that they really enjoy them as it gives them something to do to get away from their studies.
Good university I enjoyed my time
great experience. i would recommend
Great University. Couldn't be happier.
very nice facilities, especially the business school. It is a very nice environment to study in. A lot of societies that you can join too
Very good uni, and lecturers are always available to help
I've loved my time at Northumbria, I think it's a brilliant place to study Computer Science and Games Development in particular.
Studying Mass Communications in my final year at Northumbria University was an enriching and fulfilling experience. The program provided a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of Mass Media, giving me more new skills and knowledge necessary for a career in the field. The engaging coursework, experienced faculty, and opportunities for hands-on learning with real-life case studies were invaluable in preparing me for the professional world. Additionally, the supportive academic environment and vibrant campus community made my final year memorable and enjoyable. Moreover, the career help was definitely a plus-point among all, I am able to get to new places quicker and get job quicker (whether it's part-time, internships, or full time) due to the sources and counseling help they provided. Overall, I am grateful for the education I received at Northumbria University and confident that the knowledge has been crafted for students future endeavors in Mass Communications.

Campus facilities are good for my course but the SU is a bit pointless
I love rob and all the staff are so lovely
Would definitely recommend Northumbria University, facilities are good and you have access to a lot of helpful things.
Student and staff here are very nice and helpful, located in a good spot not far from accoms and city centre which makes travel easier. Facilities are good and leaves no trouble when learning. Overall it’s been a solid experience so far, not incredible but good.
Good sport facilities and education quality
Had a great experience during past four years studying at Northumbria University. Met wonderful people for local and from international backgrounds. Found my degree interesting, and would like to continue further with my education after graduation.
I especially like the university library. It is great that everyone can find space which suits them the best.
Good student bar and art facilities
Haven't engaged much with anything but the course itself so don't really have an opinion tbh

In my final year of undergraduate, and I am very happy with the university and the city I chose. Welcoming people, established help system and lovely campus, that is still innovating and working on new ways of how to be better.
Decent uni with modern facilities. Haven't interacted much with clubs and the SU in my time here but they seem alright.
Excellent environment…. Everyone is so kind and supportive
Reviewing their online computer science degree. I took data analytics but the first 3 modules are the same no matter what path you took. Honestly not what I expected at all. I signed up as a beginner, thinking it would be suitable for beginners. Myself and many others really struggled with how challenging the topics were, and how much you were supposed to studying/work on the assignments per week. If you work full time and are a beginner you will struggle to find the time. One tutor didn't engage with us whatsoever. Just 3 webinars and no responses to emails. There were so many connectivity issues connecting to the remote server too. Lots of typos in the presentations and videos that were just reused for years, some with so many errors that made them non functional to follow. The OOP module was hard. All students struggled and complained. The notes given to us by the university where impossible to understand or follow. If I knew before I wouldn't have joined
Great campus with lots to offer. Most of the buildings are within a 5 minute walk and fairly easy to navigate.
If you are a student who needs to work while attending university, then this is not the university for you. The support from staff is non-existent and many will ignore messages asking for further guidance or support. There are some good supportful lecturers but they are few and far between.
Amazing university, I’ve really enjoyed myself
Northumbria University has good facilities and a range of clubs and societies to join.
Really welcoming, helpful and friendly
After 3 years of undergraduate course, I decided to do a master's degree here as well. I like how the lectures and tutorials are well explained and that tutors always want to help
Large range of societies and teaching staff are really helpful
Haven’t had any major problems
Very good, I enjoyed my first year
Very good university and would recommend to anyone
I enjoyed my experience in the university, I recommend a better organisations for the classrooms because it either can be helpful or waste of time especially if it’s a big room
Northumbria University through Newcastle College Access to HE path is a fantastic student experience.
My personal tutor and staff were very motivating and helpful towards me .
Services on campus are good, you have everything you need
The campus itself and the learning content are worth it, some of the staff however let it down.
Great university with friendly students and staff. Library and facilities are very useful and accessible for studying. Great location in the heart of town
Good university but the design of some of the buildings are ugly like the squires annex building and they can improve by making more comfortable areas for students to chill
Amazing accommodation, I have been here for 2 years and it feels like home to me.
My experience so far has been mixed. In 1st year I was mainly online due to covid and therefore found it incredibly difficult to properly meet people on my course. There were very few, if any, events promoted for people like me who don’t enjoy night clubs / heavy drinking. 2nd year has been much better. It was completely on campus, I started talking to more people and had someone to sit next to in my lectures / optional modules. The ‘Be part of it’ scheme was set up which significantly contributed to me not dropping out. This offers Northumbria students a lot of heavily discounted events throughout each term and aims for you to meet other students without the traditional student nightlife. The support from staff is excellent (specifically from my personal tutor) who has helped and supported me more than I can describe. The campus is very nice and close to the city centre. My course department has excellent facilities which makes the experience much better.
Very enjoyable and everyone seems to want to be active and go out so extremely easy to make mates
good university very helpful staff and buildings were very easy to find and were always nice to work in
I attend coach lane campus and the service is always amazing and facilities are great and all is what is needed to study.
Been here now for 4 years and I’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience got to meet so many great people including friends and members of staff. The teaching and learning is second to none.
The facilities are great, the tutors are great, the social life is great as well as the opportunity for social life. However, I want to say, if there are no placements, then when making list of courses for addimissions for international students, please don't state advance practice. My honest thought. As I feel this is not true Thank you
Great University. Stunning location and the University is well-equipped with the state-of-the-art technologies.
Beautiful environment for learning. Modern facilities have also been put in place to make the learning experience worth it.
Northumbria University is a good place to study. One can easily approach the teaching team and they are always willing to help.
I love the experience. Amazing tutors and environment.
Northumbria University has a nice cultural blend. everyone is included. The research oriented courses are thorough making it the University of the year last year(2022)
They have offered my all the support needed throughout my experience and studying there has been enjoyable.
Northumbria is a great university. I have struggled a lot with mental health and i can admit that there are a lot of reasources and counselling available . My only problem is travelling to coach lane campus and back. it doesn’t feel like the true university experience
It is a great university to study master degree, the university has rewarded as the university of the year in 2022.
