I love LTU it’s an incredible university that provides so many opportunities and I would recommend it to everyone looking to study and have a good university experience.
My experience so far at Leeds trinity has been completely jaw dropping. Every lecturer at the university takes pride in their work and students. The disability team, careers team and even the Starbucks workers all genuinely care about each student. Class sizes aren’t so huge that you can barely see the front - instead you can have debates and actually get to know your peers. Having had the “big uni” experience I would recommend trinity to EVERYONE thinking about going. This university and all its staff care about students way more than money and reputation. I Previously went to a big university in the main city. I was over looked as a disabled student, lecturers regularly came 20-30 mins late and cancelled 5 mins before class started. None knew our names and the teaching was GCSE level. I left after being criticised for my medication strength. Choosing Leeds trinity is the best decision I ever made not to mention - the breakfast burritos are the best thing you will ever eat.
Overall pleasent experience! If you struggle with mental health this may not be the uni for you! My tutors have been amazing but they cannot help you when it comes to the board, I took time off and missed assignments to losing 2 friends over a 6 month period. The process to gain a leave of absence and return in the autumn has been strenuous and beyond stressful and I still don’t know if I’ll be able to continue
great campus, lovely staff, close and personal
Staff there are amazing, one big family, always find help, fabulous community
I had the greatest time at Leeds Trinity! I made the best decision of my life going here. Felt like a home and family!
I had the most memorable experience the last three years at Leeds Trinity. I met some amazing people and had the most supportive tutors especially my Development Tutor who was always quick to reply to my emails.
Great uni, very supportive staff, student union needs some life sucked into it though
It's been so far the best choice I've ever made in my life. This is quite small university, and it gives you opportunity to learn in smaller groups. I have never had a problem with meeting my lecturers if needed help, they knew me by name rather than being just one of thousands students. Employment services are great as well, and you get access to their help for 3 years after graduation - in fact thanks to them I secured my dream job within 2 months after graduation. If only there was more options, I'd definitely come back for postgraduate studies there!
Generally good, WiFi a bit slow and few clubs or societies to join. Great careers support and everything is fine n your doorstep if you live in halls
