A good university but definitely not the best. Yes teaching staff know your name, but overall the university itself doesn’t care about students. The campus is slowly improving but it’s about 3 years behind what the students actually want and the student Union is shocking, be amazed if you get a reply from them.

Really small but friendly university. As it’s smaller it’s like a little community and everyone knows everyone which i like! Staff are so friendly and both students and staff are always around if you need any support

Small, friendly campus close enough to the all the best parts of city life. You get to know so many people and the lecturers get to know you as individuals too! There’s also plenty of opportunities to get involved in societies, clubs and on-campus events. If there’s not something already there for you, then there’s plenty of support to create new groups and get more involved!

Not the best university at all but could be much worse. The social side of it is good but the academic side isn't as good as it could be.

In our accommodation the electricity and water kept going off and we almost had to go to a different accommodations for a weekend. Also, the ceiling in the common room started to fall down at the end of the year which was a hazard. The lecturers also didn’t help much with my course either. I struggled to pass and needed help but never received any.

Brilliant campus for first year being able to live on site makes it much easier to settle in and get to know people. Gym facilities on site are also good. Careers office is always there for anyone seeking advice.

This university is so friendly and everyone is willing to help. Living in campus in first year was the best experience yet. Fully recommend this uni.
