The Foundry is a perfect place to live. When I was considering different available options, I found it among one of the best in terms of its location, facilities and staff. Currently, I am enjoying a comfortable stay here. The foundry staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The building security is always around and I feel safe here. Other facilities, including Kitchen, TV Lounge, Gym, Games Room, Cinema, Study area, Cycle Store and Bin Store make it more comfortable and versatile, offering a range of options for a student. Social events hosted in the building, are another best thing at the part of administration. It offers an opportunity to meet other students and make friends. Moreover, it takes 20 minutes to reach my university from the Foundry. I definitely and strongly recommend this accommodation owing to the above-mentioned reasons. It also offers a good value for money.

Continuing to stay here for a second year, I can confidently say it’s a great choice if you’re studying at any of the Leeds universities. The location is perfect- within a good distance of the University of Leeds, Hyde Park, and the city centre making it super convenient for visiting friends or commuting to a job in the city. The property management team is fantastic- always friendly, attentive, and quick to resolve any issues. The rooms and kitchens are well-designed with plenty of storage space, and cleaning equipment is available to borrow from reception. There are circuit laundry facilities and bin stores on the floor below. There are also lots of social events hosted in the building, making it easy to meet new people if you’re into that. If not, the rooms have good soundproofing so that you’re not disturbed by party noise from other flats. Overall, it’s been a great experience, and I would recommend The Foundry as a safe and reliable accomodation choice!

Living at the foundry has been a pleasure. They are a warm welcoming site with receptionists i can’t falut. Francessa is brilliant, alway checking if people are okay, asking how their days are and with us being young and away from our home towns she makes everyone feel at home. The maintenance could be more efficient with sorting out faults as i’ve had a few problems that haven’t been looked at yet. The area is safe to an extent. Being from near leeds i am aware of surrounding places and how that impacts the accommodation. It can get really noisy with cars being revved up and down the street but that’s not a foundry problem, security make sure no one like that is allowed in anyway. Overall the foundry is a well rounded good for money accommodation and i would recommend!

Really enjoying my stay at The Foundry! It's a great choice for first year students looking to find new friends and socialise easily. Staff are extremely nice and always on top of any maintenance issues. Would definitely recommend this accommodation as it is one of the best value for money around leeds. :)

The Foundry is an exceptional commendation, only a 15-minute walk from the University of Leeds and 20 minutes to the city centre; the Foundry has many facilities for residents, including a free gym, study spaces, communal lounge area and cinema room. Rooms are cleaned and well maintained. Excellent 24/7 security and maintenance issues are solved in a timely manner. I would recommend the Foundry for anyone coming to Leeds for the first time and returning students! :)

The rooms are a nice size and in a good area. Individual flats only get cleaned by the people staying in them but the rest of the building is pretty clean. The staff are very friendly and try to host events such as welcome parties etc. quite often.

I’ve had an amazing time living at Foundry. The rooms are spacious and clean plus the property is just a 20 min walk away from the city centre and university which makes my travel very easy. Also all the maintenance issues are addressed and solved quickly. The staff is very kind and polite. Overall the environment is welcoming, just perfect for students to settle in.

I've had the pleasure of living at The Foundry for the past three years, and I can honestly say it has been an exceptional experience. The management team has been nothing short of amazing—always approachable, responsive, and genuinely committed to ensuring residents have the best possible stay. Their professionalism and dedication have made my time here incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The location is absolutely perfect, especially for anyone who wants to be close to the heart of Leeds. This apartment is highly recommended! It offers a cozy environment, top-notch amenities, and exceptional customer service. I've been living here for a year and have received numerous freebies (i mean, who doesn't love freebies?). The amenities provided here are unlike any I've seen elsewhere. In addition to the fantastic perks, the location is superb, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The maintenance team is quick to respond and resolve any issues, ensuring a hassle-free living experience. The community is friendly and hosts regular events that create a strong sense of belonging among the residents. .

A great and quiet uni accommodation, having previously lived in a unite student accommodation, the Foundry is a massive upgrade. It is still quite expensive however Leeds is a spenny city. I definitely recommend staying here, especially as it’s so close to everything you need

The foundry leeds is the most perfect apartment for me during my study abroad. I have been to many of my classmates' apartments and their room facilities and staff service are not as good as this one.The foundry leeds' room is large, soundproofed well, the staff is very friendly, and I highly recommend all students to stay

Throughout my whole time at the Foundry I have felt welcomed and safe in the accommodation. I have had little to no issues with the WiFi when competing my uni work. The staff are also really friendly and take the time to say hello to you. The rooms are definitely worth the money, they are really homely and you are able to feel relaxed yet also are suitable to do your work in. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a safe, friendly and modern accommodation.

Overall wouldn’t recommend The Foundry. There is constant noise from other flats, especially banging and jumping in the night. The rooms can get unbelievably hot, especially in summer. The blinds do not fit the window 100% so there is a lot of light pollution at night. There are few washers and dryers, so people will often take other people’s washing out and leave it on the side. Finally, flats are known to randomly flood

The studio room is clear and bright and the equipment is good. Kitchen devices are complete and good in use. The reception is dear. The location of this student accommodation is not in city center but in student apartment group so it is safe and it is quiet at night. I like this accomodation.

The security work in the apartment is very good, and there are staff at the front desk 24 hours a day. You can easily contact the front desk to solve the problem. The front desk of the express delivery will assist with collection and send an email reminding you to pick up your package. The location of the apartment is very good, and there is a bus stop not far from the apartment, making it convenient to go to school or the city center. The room area is relatively large and tidy, with a dishwasher in the public kitchen, which is also my favorite public facility. The refrigerator has enough space for you and your roommates to allocate. There are not many washing machines and dryers in the laundry room, but they are sufficient for use. The cinema and gym equipped in the apartment are good places to relax in daily life. The game room and public space downstairs are great places to hold gatherings. I have been here for 4 months now and every person I have met who live here is very friendly.

Before arriving to Leeds, I’ve spent a loot of time looking for and comparing accommodations and locations and reviews. And here was it! I’m quite glad that I chose The Foundry. A bit more expensive but it’s worth it! Great location and caring staff!

around a 20 minute walk to leeds becket campus and city centre so it’s very accessible, staff at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful!! the wifi is fast so it’s ideal for doing uni work :))

The Foundry’s a great choice of student accomodation. Decent location and the size of the kitchen and rooms is one of the best you’ll find. Everyone in the office is really friendly, and maintenance requests get sorted pretty quickly :)

Stayed here for 2 years now and had a really great time! Nice living in a safe area with security and staff are always really friendly and happy to help. Never had any issues. Lots of facilities such as the cinema room and gym. Also close to many shops. Rooms are a good size and quality. Staff also sometimes leave drinks and snacks at reception which is a really nice touch

Good place to live close to university and and city centre. Rent prices are expensive but it's probably one of the more affordable private accommodation out there that have a decent living space. No parking space is available makes it difficult for students that need a car travel to placement or home often.

I had a great experience staying at this accommodation. It offers excellent value for the price, with convenient amenities like a dishwasher and a well-equipped kitchen. I’m in my first year of university and living at The Foundry has been such a great experience so far! It’s in a really good location with easy access to the university or city centre, whether you’re walking or taking the bus. There’s a lot of shops and food places nearby and the area feels safe to walk in. There are quite a few other student accommodations around as well so you really get that student life feel. My room is an en-suite and it’s a really good size. When I first moved in, everything was perfectly clean. I definitely recommend staying here :)

This is my first year living in the foundry and it has been clean at all times and if i have had a problem it has been resolved quickly. I would recommend living in the foundry to anyone i spoke to who wanted advice on where to stay for university in leeds as it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the main part of leeds and all universities are a reasonable walking distance away. The rooms are a good size and there is plenty of room for all my things.

I just checked in more than a week. I have to confess that at first I was pretty disappointed with my room because my room definitely hasn’t been cleaned before I checked in, and I arrived at 11pm so nobody could clean the room for me at that time, I had to slept on my luggages my first night in UK! But luckily reception responded email the next morning and sent a housekeeper to my room. After a couple of cleaning, I finally settled down. MOST receptionists are nice, you could ask them any questions and they would happy to help you. Except that, there are a lot welfare in the flat, sometimes is free food and drink, tonight is tampon and toilet brush, it’s so sweet! There was a puppy therapy before, you can cuddle with puppies, if possible hold it again🥺. This world needs puppies! So even though the beginning of my journey there was not perfect, people and circumstances here make me love it already~

I was surprised with the value for money as my accommodation is cheaper than all my friends accommodations and is noticeably better quality from the size of the kitchen and dishwasher which is a life saver, quality of room as well as large common room, private study rooms, gym and especially the cinema room where my friends all come down to watch as you can plug your laptop and watch any apps like Netflix/Disney+ etc. There’s a co op right opposite as well as a Tesco 2 minutes down the road with a dominoes inbetween which I go to a lot more than I should. The staff is so lovely and everyone’s helpful. There’s always freebies in the entrance which is available to everyone from sweets, tea bags, sugars, sanitary products and you get a lovely welcome package with essentials like a thermal portable coffee cup, noodles, liquid for the laundry room and so much more! Love it here so glad I came.

I live in flat 64, I was welcomed with a lovely package which honestly saved my life on the first night as I was STARVING. My room is nice and I’ve made it even awesome with my decorative skills. First time at the foundry, this is way better than my previous accomodation at the start I was very sketchy as it wasn’t linked to the university I was going to or it wasn’t a university provided accommodation. However the last time I did stay a university provided accomodation it was the worst thing ever it wasn’t clean and the people weren’t friendly. The foundry had different experience as they are very welcoming and friendly and have different things at the reception such as goodies and offer many days like animal therapy which I’m still excited to try. The rooms are spacious and have enough storage and this is coming from someone who overpacks. It’s a very modern room and kitchen and they’re fobs for your own room so you don’t have to worry about personal items going missing. They’ll let you know when you have a parcel that has arrived however my other accomodation would only deliver it on a certain day and you only had a couple of a hours to collect it before they removed it.

I've lived here now for 2 years and am currently into my third and final. The Foundry is a really enjoyable place to live with a lot of fun events hosted throughout the year. It's definitely not been without it's issues, but anytime there has been one, it's always resolved by the staff quickly and efficiently. I've loved my time here, made a couple of friends who are going to be with me for the rest of my life. It really is an amazing place to stay and I'm looking forward to seeing what this year holds

My stay so far has been a 7/10, i’ve had issues with a noisy leaky shower pipe that was only fixed two weeks later by the old management, and the lift was broken for months and I am living on the 8th floor, there’s also very loud construction from time to time (which cannot be avoided). However the location is decent and I like the new management! they are very friendly and are doing a good job. Thank you.

My first year at uni and also my first year at the foundry has been great, my parents are super comfortable with me staying here for the rest of my uni experience due to the great staff, safe location and late night security, as well as knowing I have a spacious room and bathroom to myself! Any troubles I’ve had the Staff have been there for me, willing to compromise and suggest anything to better my experience! Shanay and David are really outstanding people and the rest of the staff are super welcoming too, I’d highly recommend staying here, the only thing I’d recommend is bringing a fan, the rooms can stay a good temperate but now it’s heating up outside if you have another person in your room it can get warm, nothing unbearable though! I really feel at home here and can’t wait to continue my uni future with the foundry! X - Tiff (Also the internet is insanely good, if you have Ethernet connection or just wanting good wifi I highly recommend here, if you game a lot then believe me!)

The staff are always so kind and funny, they're genuine people who actually care about who's staying at their accommodation. I love that I can always have a chat with them whenever I see them. The rooms are amazing in my opinion, very spacious and the bathrooms are better than in any other accom I've seen when viewing last year. The rooms are stylish and clean. The communal spaces are really really nice, there's a very large living room area with multiple TV's and a cinema room!! I couldn't recommend this accom to anyone more! It's amazing

It has nice rooms and a decent kitchen. The location is really close to other accommodations and is a brisk walk to the centre

I would say that this is an outstanding accommodation option for students. The location of The Foundry is one of its greatest strengths. It is situated in an excellent and safe area that offers a wide range of amenities, making it very convenient for students to access key facilities such as universities, shopping centers, and public transport. The property management team at The Foundry is exceptional. They provide outstanding customer service, and any issues are always resolved promptly. This is a significant advantage for students who need reliable and efficient support while living away from home. I would highly recommend The Foundry student accommodation to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable living experience while studying. It is money well spent, and the exceptional location, property management, cleaning standards, social spaces, social experience, and internet/Wifi connection make it an excellent choice for students.

Amazing experience in the Foundry, friendly staff, offers many facilities including a gym, games and cinema room all at an affordable price, also holds events for games/movies/music in their common area... great for meeting new people :) :)

Recently moved to Leeds as a mature student and I really do like staying here. The location is great as it's very near to everything and within walking distance of the University. The staff is absolutely lovely, all of them, they are all really friendly, Ryan, Bruno and especially Shannay who always has a nice smile on her face at the front desk! If I was going to be here for more than a year I would already rebook to stay again :).

One of the worst accomodations I've ever stayed in. Don't live here if you actually want to get work done in your rooms. We weren't warned that there would be construction noise every single day that even occurs on the weekends. Genuinely unbearable. Noise in general throughout the accom is very loud too as the walls are paper thin. I had noise problems and the immediate response of staff was asking me if I want to move rooms (which has a £50 fee) instead of finding out where it's coming from. Absoloutely not worth £163 a week as there's barely any quiet at all. Maintenence requests take ages to deal with as well. Genuinely think there should be some sort of compensation considering the noise nuisance but it's all really a money grabbing scheme at the end of the day. Save yourselves the headache and find a quieter place to live! (writing this as I'm hearing construction noise outside the window and can hardly hear myself think!) Thanks for nothing Foundry!
