I love the campus culture. There is always stuff going on. To get involved with! Even if ur big into sports there lots of other opportunities. Loughborough has lots of nice cafe and the standard high street shop. Notts and Leicester are very easy to get too but train of bus.

Wi-Fi could be improved a bit as sometimes it doesn’t verify location when signing in even though your there

Great facilities for extra curricular activities
Thank you for your review :) With over 100 societies there is one for almost every interest but if you can't find one that caters to your hobby, there is always the option to start your own society. There are also plenty of ways to get involved in sport at all levels to make the most of the sports facilities here!

Loughborough university has been a great place to study, with so many clubs and societies to choose from there are a lot of things to explore. There are some key spots on campus that are nice and quiet to study in but also other areas that are bubbly and busy. The cafe and food spots on campus are also great and there are some affordable places included in here too.

Strong community with great accommodation choices for all needs

We're really proud of our community here at Loughborough so it's great you have experienced it :) We have a wide range of Halls of residence catering to lots of different needs and If you put Loughborough as your firm choice and register for accommodation before the end of July we will guarantee you a room in University accommodation for your first year of study.
Lots of ways for people to get involved in things they are interested in. Everything around is also very pretty and convenient at the same time

i have enjoyed my second year here more than my first year, but overall I would recommend to people who want to live somewhere quieter and enjoy their sports and student-focused events

The Loughborough University is UK largest single campus university with outstanding help and support for the students (national/international). Highly recommended.

Excellent university, brilliant facilities both for leisure such as football pitches and gyms that I regularly use but also for lectures and studying such as the library. Good social life for a town and great place to come to university!

Loughborough is a super academic uni, not the most social but still fun. The town is small and not much to do, but close to notts and other bigger cities where you can go out out.
Thanks for your review :) Glad to here you've enjoyed your time here. Loughborough is located in the heart of the country and has great travel links, with cities like Nottingham and Leicester within a 20 minute train ride and it only taking just over an hour to get to London by train.

The university is definitely a good fit for me, I’m quite happy but that might be because I am doing g a sports orientated course, so I’m pretty pleased with all the facilities and the standards here at uni

The wifi is kinda sucky but generally Loughborough University is amazing, every aspect of the university from the academic to the social is spectacular.

Finance offices not very helpful took over a month for me to be enrolled into university. Other services always there to help.

Campus is abundant in communal areas the quality of buildings is, on the whole, very high. WiFi can be a bit dodgy but it usually connects without issue.

I think Loughborough is one of the best places I could have chosen to come and study to. Everything is just as I wished for, from the academic experience, to my student life. In terms of the uni, it really deserves its ranking. The campus is fantastic - big and well equiped, with lots of facilities for students (this including the library as well), the academic staff are, let's say 70-80% of them, dedicated and passionated people that are doing research and are working in what they are teaching, and I can especially tell this about the geography staff, they really are ehat students need, professional but close to students. The student life is also, as I said, very good. Of course, it is not London, but I had everything I needed, from social events and parties, to societies and sports. I am not a big sportman, but I think I don't have to explain that this place is one the best i the world for those who are. I gave 4 stars for the WiFi, because, well, Eduroam can sometimes let you down.

Pretty good university overall. Quite social and sporty. But the SU is quite a disappointment and went downhill since a couple of years ago.

Brilliant campus, excellent facilities, there is a range of societies however, none took my fancy.

Lboro uni is best option to get yourself into sports and studies all Together. Their business school is equally equipped with all the facilities from labs, seminars and knowledgable profs

It’s the university of the dream with big campus and lots of fun activities and cultural events. The education is top class as I am doing my masters in finance it has helped to learn new things and got motivated through. Job opportunities have been given by the university to help us get a job. Great facility and it’s at a very good rank among the uk universities

Loughborough University is one of the top universities in UK, with plenty of opportunities and things to do for students. LSU is one of the best place to socialize and be in. Working in communities is another amazing opportunities the uni offers.

Loughborough is a fantastic place to study and connect with like-minded people. The Staff cares about our education teaching modules in the most engaging way possible. There is never a dull moment on campus; an event, sport, or activity is always taking place! You do not have to be an athlete or a sports person to engage in or to be a part of the sports atmosphere because there are sports programmes just for you through LSU. If you want to develop a skill outside the classroom, you can join a society such as a speaking club, sketch club, consultant club etc. If you want to engage with Christ-like individuals, there are many societies to choose from in that regard, such as ignite youth fellowship. Don't worry Career Services will help you with your career path; and Student Services with any issue that arise while you are here, as they did for me with managing my finances! I am a part of a family at Loughborough University.

Very good extremely happy with the university in general, however only thing that is poor is the ridiculous prices in the union which is supposed to cater to students who have no money you can’t go out without spending a silly amount of money where it should be the most affordable for us! The WiFi also is very inconsistent but that’s a nationwide issue so that is less of an issue but other than these things would highly recommend Loughborough

Good experience so far, the university is a good place for students to settle in. The events are ok but i wish there was more diversity. Also as a first year who is a keen footballer, it is really annoying how high the level is pitched to make it into the university teams, considering the trial process wasn’t that rigorous.

Loughborough university is an amazing place, the best campus in the country. There is however not the greatest acceptance into all levels of sport as many people are disregarded. Close to Nottingham which is good , town provides bare essentials and good places to eat and drink but little past that

My experience at Loughborough has been very good so far. It's one of the best sports universities in the world. The teachers are very experienced and make our lectures very interesting.
