The student union is a close distance to Elvyn Richards hall. Clubs and socials, facilities and internet are very good as well

Living in loughborough has been great, it has some lovely scenery and is great if you are into sports. Lots of good social activities in the students union. Only thing is the Spar is quite expensive for a student budget.
Thank you for your review! There is something for everyone at Loughbrough University, from our green and well-equipped campus to all the events and societies avialable thorugh the students' union. The Spar is great for convenience purchases and there are large chain supermarkets within walking distance of the main campus, if you'd like more choice and value.

Fantastic facilities on campus, lacks in location due to the local area

(For anyone thinking of studying here: Loughbrough University is located in the nearby town of Loughborough where there are many more facilities. Loughborough is in an area called Charnwood in Leicestershire, UK).
Elvyn has been a fantastic place to live to is year. The services and experience has been too class. I’ve felt fully supported here by the committees and warden team that have gone above and beyond to enhance my student experience. I would fully recommend this accommodation to anyone and everyone!

So many incredible opportunities within the university. Both the university and the students union are incredible and there really is something for everyone. There's so much more to university life than studying and Loughborough is really good at providing all of those different opportunities beyond academia.

Loughborough has an amazing campus, it is a big and spacious and there is a free campus shuttle too, though its not the most punctual

Love it the services are really good
Thank you, Loughborough University is glad to offer lots of facilities including shops, cafes, eateries, bars, dining halls, hotels, two gyms, and a pharmacy, an optician, a dental practice, a hairdresser, launderettes, a taxi rank, and a large nightclub. :-) Our teaching areas and sports facilities are world class too. There's something for everyone and it's all conveniently located on campus.
Really happy with the facilties, it cna be a bit difficult with calling and walking around as it can get a bit choppy but otherwise its pretty good

Great location but terrible internet

If a sportsperson, most societies don’t fit into those times left free so not able to join many
Hi, thank you for leaving a review, Lboro Students Union offers a list of societies, and you may find one with events that fit with your timetable. It can be challenging to balance being a dediciated sportsperson, with timetables and independent study, with all the things we have going on here, but there are many facilities on offer on campus to help students make friends and enjoy student life to the full. We hope you are settling in well and enjoying your course.

The Holt accommodation at this UK university provides a decent living space for students. While the rooms are adequate and the amenities functional, there's room for improvement in terms of modernization and community engagement. Overall, it serves its purpose as a standard option for student housing, but falls short of being remarkable.

The reception staff will always be attentive to any issue around maintenance etc. in this historic buidling, please advise them of any problems you may experience. Thank you for a great 5* review! We try to make it easy to get here and travel around on Loughbrough University's campus - we even have a free yellow shuttle bus every 10 minutes, ideal for getting to and from lectures.

Great halls, good maintenance, friendly and helpful receptionists

Loughborough uni definitely is a community, and the facilities are amazing. Would definitely consider doing a postgraduate degree here too

Value for money, friendly staff, well equipped, cleaned every 2 weeks, rooms can be kept neat and clean. 20 min walk or direct bus to the door, close to supermarket and town.
