Always something to do on campus and everything is close together, also not far from town so its easy to go out there

There are lots of societies and clubs available to join, the sports facilities are amazing, and there it’s lots of support from the careers team at the university.

Lots of clubs and lots of sports you can take part in at different levels. Lots of facilities and there are schemes such as future talent or GAT that can help with getting a placement (lots of support).

The campus and all it can offer are the best selling point for the university. Not only does it have state-of-the-art facilities but also offers a massive range of sports, societies and other opportunities to get a part of. Almost guarantees there is something for everyone!

Over all love the campus and the sports facilities are amazing. Campus buses however are not to be counted on.

Very happy I chose to come to Loughborough.
So glad to hear that you enjoying your time studying at Loughbrough University! We do have world-class facilities here for teaching and research.
The campus is lovely and there are lots of grass pitches and outdoor space that I use a lot over the summer months. The students union provides a really good night out and I love that it is on campus so it is not far to get back to my accommodation afterwards. The gym facilities are really good as well with a gym at either end of campus so it is easy to get to one from lectures or accommodation. The pool, various basketball, tennis and badminton courts, and the rugby and football pitches are also open to have a social game with my flat which is good fun. Overall, the campus has a lovely feel to it and has everything I need within walking distance.

The WiFi is a bit spotty in some areas. The student union club is over priced and not student prices as tickets are too expensive and drinks could have better student deals.

For the design student, especially graphic design, it might be useful to learn to use online and offline print service '. Overall, strong extracurriclar activities, student union members are very active and enthusiastic, teachers and staffs are supportive. Looking forward to comeback for year 1 !!!!

There could be more societies. There could also be more beginner level sports however my lifestyle are great.

Loughborough campus is amazing and has really good facilities especially for sports like the gym, however the location and town itself is underwhelming.

During my third year I will be completing a placement, the careers team provided excellent support throughout my application processes. Alongside this, the facilities across campus are of an excellent quality and are very modern.

The uni is a very nice place to be and is much nicer than being in town. It's very green and there's sports facilities everywhere you look.

It is difficult to join clubs when you hear the inductions are already over and some clubs only do socials with no cultural element behind them. It's difficult to get interested in the unions and careers events went neither truly meets your interests or course. Maybe I must wait for them to happen, but drinking and football are not my idea of fun (no offence).

The social life is what Loughborough is about. Due to its location if you struggle to find friends it will be very lonely as there’s not a lot to do in town or on campus realistically. But I would strongly encourage joining one of the many sports clubs/ societies and you will find your people.

Students Union is great fun. Good club experience for students. Also so many sports to get involved with at all levels. Careers support is available in as much or as little quantity as you want really, but no end of things that are of great benefit. Teaching facilities and campus generally are amazing

The University is amazing and great for aspiring students always looking to better themselves. Campus is beautiful and facilities are excellent. The student union is large and always busy. There's consistent events for all kinds of students and there's always something to do - from events, to societies, to sports. WiFi can be unreliable depending on where you are on campus; For example, in some halls the connection is terrible, but in the library and student union, connection is great. Another issue is that there aren't many activities for non-party-goers or non-sporty-people which can be problematic for students like me who want to get involved but don't want to go partying/drinking every night or play rugby in my spare time. Overall, the University is great for those who are willing to go out and get involved - I sincerely recommend this place.

Wifi reaches throughout campus, go to the SU for your standard night out bosh. Good range of clubs and societies is a great way to make friends

The campus is amazing with loads of well-kept study, sports and leisure areas. The student union puts out loads of events from personal development to lipsync battles. Unfortunately, the range of societies is quite low, however, the ones they have are very good.

Good facilities however there are some flaws such as the gym being extremely busy and broken equipment taking a long time to be fixed.

The university has a range of different courses, and they are all spread out around the campus. With my course i was mainly focused around the west side of the campus. Which had a range of different buildings

Uni has great facilities both for the gym (I went to powerbaye over my three years) and for studying; I mixed this up but particularly enjoyed studying in hazlegrave. Nice campus, lots of stuff going on and lovely just to walk around also.

Campus is pretty good, bus service needs improving as delays are extremely frequent Only library is on one side of campus, so the addition of another on the opposite side would reduce crowding in the library
