It is difficult for me to speak of my experience, due to corona. I have hardly been to campus and haven’t fully experienced everything yet. However, with any issues I have had everyone has been very accommodating. People here live up to their reputation, it’s a great place and I would thoroughly recommend.
Very enjoyable and interesting course
Great uni experience given covid situation
My uni experience is a little underwhelming at this point given the lack of time being on campus with covid going around and lockdowns, but I think that next year it should prove much more positive
Haven’t been in very much due to COVID
All the service and enthusiasm made me feel warm
Very good location, good sports facilitates
i love my flat .our meals are always good.in the weekend ,we like to invite my friend to eat together.it is nice to take a hot pot.
very good hhhhhh lol love my school
It is very good. I like it so so so much, that is a very good choice.
Not been on campus much however when I do its always a joy, the facilities look great and I can’t wait to use them later this year
Haven’t spent much time on campus but from what I know it seems super modern and contemporary! Some parts are very close which is convenient
I think our university is very very beautiful, and the teacher is very friendly!
Great support from the Linguistics professors.
University has been okay so far
Ive really enjoyed my years at newcastle uni
I think our teachers gave us lots of suggestions on study and they are friendly.
Haven’t really had much experience in university
Very nice and clean and nice and clean
Good facilities and offers lots of variety for everyone
Very good uni with amazing facilities
I haven’t really experienced it bcos everything is closed but it will probably be good when it is open
Been online which has been a let down for the university
Online learning is very difficult!
great university but be careful about private accomodation
Medical students need more in person teaching despite covid- other medical schools are getting much more. Uni campus is lovely
A great university. I've been at Newcastle University for four years and have had the best experience.
Good clean campus but due to corona societies have been cancelled
supportive and adapted to the pandemic condition. lecturers for my course have been helpful and nice
Great uni from the little I’ve seen so far
No, present in person teaching despite the fact government have said it is okay. Watching someone do a lab for 3 hours isn’t the same as doing it. The government have said they understand the value of face to face teaching and Newcastle are not giving us any face to face. It seems very unfair when friends at other unis get to have some face to face while we dont
Good staff, amazing facilities
Great university however it is hard to find things
my university experience has been mostly online but still good
Good building staff are helpful
I’d like to thank them for the help and support during our first few weeks with helping us to adjust to covid regulations at the uni.
The university have been great in keeping us up to date with the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
V good uni, extremely inclusive and have great faciliites
Very good uni, would defo recommend in terms of high quality education and also a nice city in general
There are many resources that the school provides for us, from study to career. Also, it gives us a broad platform to learn from other people.
The university is good but the student accommodation NEWCASTLE 1 really terrible
As an international student, it was the best experience I could have hoped for. There was just so much support available, yet, freedom to make use of it as suited me best. The courses are truly multidisciplinary and with strong links to industry.
Terrible experience with my course - the department of Biomedical science is poorly taught with inept staff members. Lecturers were hostile when approached for help. Facilities were very poor - not enough library space or printers. Very little teaching for what you pay. City is far too small for me but quite nice. Moved to a different university and love it!!!
Excellent- love the online portal and student life is excellent
Great location, lots of clubs to get involved
Great uni love it first choice no regrets
No problems at all with the University.
Great campus facilities and a wide range of clubs and societies to choose from.
Very good uni, but dont stay at the view
Friendly atmosphere, beatiful buildings, huge lecture theaters.
Decent uni with great night life. Could do with more societies and a better student union.
Many opportunities to socialise and learn new skills. Excellent Careers Service and teaching staff!
Pros Enjoying the course and the tutors are really nice. Cons Printers hardly work.wifi is very poor connection.only in 2 days a week with many reading weeks off. Paying 9 grand for 56 days hmmm 🤔
Not the best place to study a degree
I spent a lot of interesting time at my university.
Newcastle Uni really feels like home
So far so good. Campus is in a great location just next to town so there's always something to do in your free time.
In terms of my specific course, it provides exceptional conditions for success within each student, during the university period.
10/10 would recommend to a friend.
I love my school and it will be a good memory
It is a very big school and a lot of the time it feels overwhelming to join societies.
Good WiFi nice place nice sound
Love the uni! It is in a great central location too
I love here because of its educational resources and the building are designed excellent.
Extremely good , student union is great
everything within the university is absolutely perfect
Brilliant university. The campus is really nice and there are loads of societies to choose from.
Newcastle University is a really good uni that maintains its good standards
Good uni. Great socially and goods location near the city.
Newcastle university is a great school with helpful professors. The only downside is some aren’t willing to help outside the classroom
The university is good, it scenic and the buildings are nice (for those i have been in). The facilities for my course are good. The only thing i would complain about it the wifi around campus and when in lectures often it can fail and this means you cannot get the powerpoint up during the lecture.
Newcastle University is very good
I am currently really enjoying my time at Newcastle University.
Such a lovely place to learn, plenty of facilities and a wide range of societies and clubs made it easier to make friends
Uni campus is good and WiFi is strong
I love Newcastle and my university
WiFi could be better and more societies available
Great university, highly recommend architecture facilities.
As involved as you want it to be
My course is really fun and I had a lot of help from the Student union in settling into uni life
Wouldn't think of a better university. Very student-oriented and all is in place so students never feel alone or lost.
Absolutely love everything single thing about this university, I feel grown up yet supported fully.
I love everything about this university.
good here, however wifi could be improved in places
Newcastle is a great university its very clean and the environment is very friendly
WiFi somtimes patchy although generally good. Students Union is helpful and a nice ebcuronmemt
Good uni, nice buildings and friendly staff.
Nice experience studying at NCL uni
Great University and facilities
Excellent uni great campus good ranking
Good university with great location
It is convienice to go to the market or other entertainment locate
All good and everything is great
Final year at Newcastle, the Uni is okay. Definitely better options out there, I'm sure others have had a great experience, I just got unlucky.
Great campus that’s centrally located in the city centre close to everything a student would need and all within walking distance. There’s a huge number of events going on plus loads of clubs and societies to join to socialise and try new things running all through the year. The only downside for me personally is the careers service, from past experiences I’ve just mostly been directed to what’s online which isn’t what I’d expect from a careers advisor.
Many cluster rooms with computers. The library is amazing, open 24/7.
Best art course in UK !!!!!!!!
The sport center is small, there are few basketball court
third year of PhD, and a year of Master previously. I quite enjoyed my journey here.
Good place, good school, good equipment, very kind, everyone is very friendly.
