It was was clean with beautiful buildings
Havent had a uni experience only for required practicals & don’t rate it at all
Hard to say for this year really, as I havent been into the building once. But in general... it's good.
Don't really have mutch to say given this year with the covid stuff so Iv not spent mutch time on campus or interacting with the uni outher than the libery
Good societies, good for sports,
A nice campus with all facilities needed, look forward to being able to use them next year.
So glad I decided to do my undergraduate studies at Newcastle university. Could not have had a better experience
Facilities are nice but hard to access with covid
Really loved Newcastle university so far and would definitely recommend the city and the university to anyone
Good facilities with big library with lots of places to work and lots of recourses
Loving my time at Newcastle, the staff and support are great, would deffo recommend!
Great uni, would highly recommend
Newcastle Uni has a great campus
I’ve had a good time at Newcastle they have lots of different services to help with everything you could possibly need at university
I really love this university, honestly not a bad thing to say about it!
Things are not modest in the university.
I am really looking forward to offline study with cohort and teachers. I hope the situation will be better along with the pandemic passes.
Very beautiful campus and I enjoy the studying atomosphere, people around are friendly, carrier service is offered from day 1 you become a member of the university, you could get excellent support from the Student union also!
The professors at Newcastle are very friendly and the students are very talkative
Because of the epidemic, I have not visited the campus carefully. However, I was impressed by how responsible the teachers and staff were.I am looking forward to getting to know the school.
Newcastle University is a world-famous place for students from all over the world.
The property is quite good and is near the railway station. It’s convenient to travel around. Facilities in the property is excellent. Staffs in Newcastle 1 are warm-hearted. It is the best choice I have ever made to live in Newcastle 1
It is quite good to study at Newcastle University, and the study here would be wonderful if I could study in the classroom, but the zoom class had been accepted now,
Haven't really done much due to COVID-19 so I can't review much. They tried in some aspects but they've slacked in others.
Due to covid I haven't been able to experience any of these a single time
good facility and good support
Amazing University with very competent staff at all levels. Offers a variety of extra curricular options as well
Newcastle university has heen known for it's research strength and achieving staff. However, the experience hasn't been fully experienced because of the pandemic.
facilities are good. enjoyed my first year
It's been an overall positive experience so far.
The university overall provides good facilities, lots of study spaces and good wifi
I had all my lectures online this year. At the beginning of this academic year, the university experienced a huge cyber attack which affected quite a lots of functions on the website. Fortunately, it didn’t affect much about the lecture delivering. I didn’t have many opportunities to use the facility in campus due to the pandemic. But now, the campus is reopening and I think it will be fun to go and check
Lovely university. I like it very much
It's a great experience studying there. The campus and the facilities are very easy to access and more advanced. The staffs are very much understandable and helps us in every possible way. We also have our student unions and counsellors to resolve our issues and also to improve ourself. We do have English courses separately for international students.
Studying Dance, an amazing course with small classes and the best teaching
The university have done their best out of a bad situation and have really enjoyed by experience
Love the campus, so beautiful and everything within walking distance. So many clubs and societies to choose from and the students union is great, so many food options and great study floor. Careers service helped a lot with my cv.
Newcastle University has been an amazing experience and I have met some lovely people. The pandemic has been difficult but my accommodation and the people I live with has made my experience enjoyable. Overall I am satisfied with Newcastle but obviously with Covid we have not been able to get the full experience with societies and activities.
Poor Wi-Fi within the building, not ideal when you are a digital student working towards a deadline! I enjoy my course and building in general however cannot say the same for the rest of the campus.
Even though corona stopped any sort of in person teaching, I still enjoyed my 1st year.
Don't even give a minute to think this is the place you want to be no matter what !!
The campus is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. This university is very suitable for study. I'm sure everyone will like it here.
Loads of pros and cons to it all, but you're not here to hear me rant. I love this uni first because it allows me to combine topics that I can't really do elsewhere. Met really good people here; lecturers, my tutor, peers and friends. Really good societies and clubs like Blank Canvas, Fashion, Anglo-Japanese and Anime Society who have honestly been a great part of me being sane during covid. The NUSUBAMEcommittee is precious. Not too pleased about the university not listening enough to lecturers(which is why they went on strike). The whole 9k for what too...crying in international student (22k). Not being able to go to labs but maintaining that the quality of learning is the same... (all unis, but I digress), basically teaching myself(more than usual) online because of technical issues during lectures or recordings or just feeling depressed...I get that it is not their fault covid exists, but can they (those in charge)work with us... On the plus side, the gym is now finished...or not
Had the perfect experience here, great facilities for studying and staff are very helpful.
Was perfect before the pandemic
Newcastle university is amazing. Spent my best year here, great place to study. Beautiful campus, close to some nice cafés.
I did not have the chance to use any of the universities facilities because of Covid
Good campus with great tutor! Excellent experience .
The staff are great and really friendly.
Good university for the most part.
It’s really great at newcastle
Great University! I really like the campus
I have limited experience due to the lockdown. They closed the main library which was frustrating
Due to the lockdown, I have not had the chance to been to campus much but overall the facilities are new. Not much chance to join clubs and societies either, but I was lucky to be elected as a committee member of a society under the Student Union. I would defo recommend the Careers Service, the team provided me with good advice and guide me on my application of postgraduate schemes!
large campus which is spread out. good facilities
Due to COVID I have not visited the campus as all lessons are cancelled so can not make an accurate review yet.
great campus experience and quality education
have not really been able to go to school due to covid but seems rather decent
Not having much campus experience due to the pandemic. But the University is pretty and big
The teachers are excellent and the care from my course leader is brilliant, but the university support itself is weak. Personal problems are met with minimal support, and the university did not provide me with any accomodation.
Great university, great city, despite coming here during covid I’m having a great time in Newcastle and would recommend it to anyone.
I haven’t been to the uni yet as in lockdown but I hope to within my 3 years at the uni!
Havent been on campus so cant comment, same for societies and clubs and studnet union
Didn't get the full experience yet, but perfect for now
Have not been to the campus on the inside yet, but it looks really nice from the outside. The clubs and societies are nice but COVID-19 restricts the full potential experience one could get from them. The students union is pretty good and sends student deals through email. Careers service website was down for a while and there are no other substitutions for that, but there are industry guest speakers and information provided through online events. Did not use the internet or wifi yet. Overall it's good and the quality of studies is also good, or at least considering the current conditions caused by COVID-19
Haven’t experienced internet much as haven’t been on campus
Teachers are teaching so well in class even it’s online now! Uni Is also providing excellent experience and opportunities for students!
Great worth it all, I would definitely recommend foe a friend
World class experience and teachinng
Great university, Great facilities and societies. Only improvement could be the student union. But it’s not important as the city nightlife is incredible
Very pretty buildings but haven’t used the unis facilities due to corona
Campus atmosphere has been nice when I’ve visited
Very aesthetically pleasing, but haven’t been to the campus a log
Library and study spaces provided by the university are very good. Excited to start playing sport post covid
Great lecturers very understanding and there are very good student wellbeing facilities
Great, absolutely loved every minute of it!!!!!
The facitilites teaching and careers services are really great. Clubs and socs are fun and varied
Very very very very very very very solid
Love the city and uni! Its so good!
It’s a good university with lots of great facilities and support for students
No social aspect at the moment
Handling covid 19 situation really well. Great support.
The facilities are amazing, really nice campus. Enjoying all my sports clubs and I have joined some really good societies. The wifi is also amazing in my accommodation and library
Good service for online learning
Love Newcastle! Beautiful city and campus
WiFi is better than WiFi in accomdation
Corona response not very supportive, online teaching standards not great.
Verde is very nice I enjoy living here
Nice university, good communication and good teaching
Lovely University, in an amazing location, huge campus with plenty of amazing facilities.
Newcastle has been great so far
It is difficult for me to speak of my experience, due to corona. I have hardly been to campus and haven’t fully experienced everything yet. However, with any issues I have had everyone has been very accommodating. People here live up to their reputation, it’s a great place and I would thoroughly recommend.
Very enjoyable and interesting course
Great uni experience given covid situation
My uni experience is a little underwhelming at this point given the lack of time being on campus with covid going around and lockdowns, but I think that next year it should prove much more positive
Haven’t been in very much due to COVID
All the service and enthusiasm made me feel warm
Very good location, good sports facilitates
i love my flat .our meals are always good.in the weekend ,we like to invite my friend to eat together.it is nice to take a hot pot.
