Love the uni, love the course, amazing city
Lovley environment and great people everyone seems to get along and the town is always busy. Plenty to do and lots of areas to study and socialise. Sports teams and society’s are good as they also allow you too socialise w similar people
Newcastle University's library is really good and all my teachers are knowledgeable. They can provide any assist whether on life and study.
I think my university is definitely one of the best in the UK. It cares for each and every one of us equally and is always there when we need it.
Lovely experience, inclusive and a nice town to live in
Great uni in a great city, wouldn’t go anywhere else
Classroom facilities are very modern and beautiful, the only disadvantage is that sometimes the WiFi is unstable.
I think this university is very good
Good learning atmosphere, good library collection, friendly teachers.
It is good experience to live here.
Amazing place to study in. A well equipped university in terms of staff and facilities.
Every one is nice. I am glad to here study! Hope the school to be No.1!
Newcastle University is one the best universities in United Kingdom for both bachelors and masters courses. Newcastle upon Tyne is also ranked one for the best student cities in United Kingdom making it the best place to live.
Med school is really great. Dame Margaret barbour building is the best. Sports facilities are great and great price too. Lovely people. Helpful staff and professors. Gorgeous city. Would really reccomend Newcastle.
The university is a joy to study at.
Great university with lots of help from the lecturerers and really interesting content taught. Really social university and easy to make friends.
Overall the course is interesting, organised, and the teaching is good. In terms of the university and city, it's also great.
Two years in and i am loving Newcastle University the location is fantastic, the campus is beautiful and packed with facilities. Anything i have ever needed i have been able to source one way or another. When it came to online lessons it was clear attempts were being made to continuously improve this new style of teaching. Many agreeable methods were utilised for meetings and sharing work and i think the lecturers were incredibly adaptive. If anything... i have struggled with contacting my personal tutor by email or even in person. (I was beginning to question if the guy was a fragment of my imagination, confined within pre-recorded lectures). But it's not just my personal tutor, other students i have spoken with have had similar experiences. Subject lectures on the other hand have been incredibly helpful! They are almost always on hand seemingly working just as long hours as we do. (For which we are greatful!) They can always come up with a simple solution to your problems.
This is an excellent univeristy.
good uni in a great city. lots to do for learning and fun
Variety of societies and clubs for everyone! The campus is beautiful and conveniently near the city centre for quick meals during lunch break.
very good,I like it here very much.I think it is the best city in England.
Everything is great, I love it!
Newcastle is the best university
Excellent when not on strike Excellent when not on strike Excellent when not on strike
Been a very difficult year of university, missed many lectures and seminars due to constant strike action which is honestly frustrating as a student.
Amazing university ! Couldn’t recommend anywhere else . Amazing location and very helpful staff
I enjoy being at my university it’s good
staff and facilities are great. great central location. great university experience so far
For sport science, it's mediocre
Newcastle University has brilliant facilities across campus with lots of study and social spaces. As a medical student, I feel a bit removed from the university as we are on placement elsewhere.
so happy i ended up here, people are so nice. lots of green areas too
a perfect university to study in.
Cozy, clean and nice accommodation. well laid out common areas and a kind and helpful crew!!
Such a friendly city and university, the campus is a short walk from town and many of the accommodations and the resources and in course opportunities are great
really good uni loved it, great facilities and campus
I would highly recommend Newcastle University. I have spent almost 2 years here and find the level of teaching to be of a very high standard, as is the university's commitment to student wellbeing.
It’s an Alreet uni yeah I enjoy it.
Great university, staff members are so knowledgeable about their subjects and their commitment to providing good quality education makes life at Newcastle uni so great
I'm enjoying studying here. Respectable university, great social life and lovely campus.
Great city ! Love the university
Brilliant campus and facilities
Great university and staff. Happy to have picked the uni.
Good university and provide good facilities.
Everything at school is fine. It's what I expected.
Nice university, i hope to graduate soon
good place to study and easy to navigate
I do not have many contact hours at all so I can’t rate the campus. Lots of my friends are involved in the student union and say it’s good fun. The library resources are good but it’s always far too busy especially in Philip Robinson. Always seem to have issues connecting my laptop to the wifi which is really inconvenient in lectures as even when I manage to get the wifi to connect it tends to drop!
A good university with a nice atmosphere and nice building
Great university . . . . . . . .
I’ve had an amazing uni experience!
Love it! It’s very nice and staff are super helpful. The library is so much better than what I expected!
The facilities are good. My lecturers are very supportive and so are the other members of staff that I have interacted with.
Great first semester at Newcastle University
so far my experience at newcastle university has been great. The campus is so nice and the lecturers are extremely helpful
University is great but student union could be bigger and to have better food options than burger and fries (which aren't in a students lunch budget).
Great university friendly staff
Loved my experience so far at Newcastle University :)
High standard of teaching along with great facilities which are constantly being upgraded they are hardly any complaints!
Good university. Well organised, lots of support for students.
Great University, happy with my choice!
Good location, all my buildings close together. Plenty of social activities take place.
I’m really enjoying my time at newcastle university! I’ve found the content of my lectures really enjoyable and the support has been amazing! There are lots of societies to join and these do social events very often which makes it really easy to find likeminded people!
Great campus, very friendly and great help from everyone at the university. Easy to follow timetables and great access to extra help.
Hard working lectures who put 100% and try alot of teaching methods to keep us engaged.
The uni is generally pretty good. The academic facilities and teaching are good. I'd say there is something left to be desired by the students Union as I have been here for 3 months and only been once as there's not much going on there. I'd say the societies are the highlight of my uni experience though, I love my societies and they make the week bearable.
Very nice university with a beautiful campus. Sometimes difficult to find certain rooms or entrances to buildings but generally quite easy to get around.
Great university with good facilities and staff
Pretty good but disorganised at times, and any cost cutting measure they have will come back to bite them
Amazing experience, the Newcastle university dental school is hard, but they support you throughout the whole experience
Pretty good nothing to complain about
Great social life, lovely campus, lots of places to work
I love my uni and it's great, though the internet can sometimes be dodgy when 200 students log in at the same time
Stage 2 student, finally allowed to explore the campus. The facilities are modern and look great, it's very comfortable to study here. Teachers are helpful. Clubs and societies are little weird, I found it little difficult to join some. There is not too many either.
Great learning experience. The campus is beautiful and the facilities for study are great.Career services are helpful to me.
Great University, lots of clubs and activities to get involved in.
Lovely place to live, the nightlife is amazing
I have really enjoyed my time at this university the city is lovely the facilities are very good and the people are very friendly
Mixed experience on campus overall
Deciding to come Newcastle University was the best decision I have made, I am currently a first year student studying International Business Management with French and my course lectures and seminar leaders are so helpful and are always just an email away to answer any questions i may have The main campus itself is absolutely gorgeous and I sometimes even love to just go for a walk round campus it’s that lovely! I have my business lectures on the new modern campus which is across the road from St James’ Park stadium and next to my accommodation and the business school which is super handy for my education! I would highly recommend this university for maximum enjoyment and outcome😁😁
Really nice Uni but SU is very poor. Bands playing unknown and not student focused at all
It is very good and they have all the facilities and societies you could want
Amazing uni, great campus and location in town, with amazing module and programme leaders
So happy with my choice to study at Newcastle. Obviously the past year has been very different and we haven’t been on campus, but my experience so far this year has been great. Lovely members of staff, really great facilities (especially the labs and medical building as this is where I am based), and great breadth of knowledge delivered across modules.
Exellent place to live, couldn’t have found a better place to be for my first year at uni!
I’ve had a good experience in my first few weeks
Very supportive and all very friendly, no issues
The university is amazing! The facilities and support is fab
Full of wide range of people and things to experience. Lecturers are all friendly and helpful and the tutors are willing to listen and talk. The student support is phenomenal and have helped me through a lotm
Good teaching with a good campus and a friendly feel.
Good friendly staff and diverse campus with society opportunities
They have been so accepting of international students and has been so fun in my time here. I can’t wait to make the most of it :)
Such a pretty campus. Classes are great. Professors are super helpful :) NUSU is also incredible
Best decision of my life.. teaching and management team are equally great! Lucky to be here! Thank you all!!
Amazing university. Can’t fault it.
The most beautiful and comfortable place to live in.I would definitely recommend this place and the staff is really friendly and helpful so glad I booked my place here.
Really great university, only down side is inconvenience of strikes but can’t complain when they’re fighting for things that are very much required (equal pay for all staff).
Can’t really rate the uni campus facilities because of covid.
Being part of Team Newcastle has changed my life and I wouldn’t want to have missed out on any of it!
I dont have many things to say as I was studing during COVID 19. I feel frustrated as I did an online course but I pay the fees of an PIP course. During this time I havent access to any of the facilities or the labs - BUT I PAY- for them. I recognise that this wasn't only Newcastle Uni problem as other Universities follow the same approach but still is a negative point. I use also the career services which was an interesting experience initially, but after a while, when you get deeper into the job interviews process, they cannot help you much. It didn't help also the fact that in every appoitment with the career service you meet a different consultant, so in a short meeting you had to explain again from the start yourself and your aims. Overall, I could say that I had an average axperience with the Uni as I believe the could much more to support the students during the pandemic.
