It was a fantastic experience.
Very good for campus and the uni is really nice
Lecturers can be interesting and draw the class in but some can rush through presentations without giving chance to fully understand what I’m looking at
a lively, up-to-date scenic university, great support for learning
Good uni fun place to study politics and IR Is a very good course
Good university experience, lots of fun activities.
My tutors are very supportive and understanding of mental health issues.
Great campus right in the middle of the city!
Due to Covid, I was not on campus at all last year and have only been back the last two weeks, so far the campus and facilities seem good, spacious and seem to have lots of useful areas. There are lots of options for clubs and societies, for majority of hobbies, sports and much more. Overall is a decent university.
University it’s okay, could be better
It's good but not well for all the international students.
The uni is good but due to its popularity is becoming overstretched they need to invest in more for their current student body rather than investing in more and more accommodation.
What motivated me to write this review was Caitlin who is very friendly, helpful and always has a smile on her face.
Experience really depends on the lecturers and people that you spend time with. Some lecturers are incredible and seminar tutors put in lots of extra effort to help students. Others offer no help. Facilities are very good.
Unfortunately due to how 2020 turned out, my first year at uni was very much unprecedented. But even so, the university provides all the services I needed, was forgiving of the issues that arise because of 2020 and generally made me feel covid safe through the methods they employed.
Amazing university, amazing staff
All good facilities, good central SU and close walk to city
Great uni Great place to be Love it
I’m so glad I chose to study at the university of Lincoln, it’s a great uni with amazing facilities!
Good tutors on average and excellent mental health support.
Good uni, can't comment on clubs or SU because of covid, geography is a great course.
Due to Covid-19, i haven’t been able to go into university as much as i would have liked, however from what i’ve seen it’s an amazing campus, plenty of places to study, quiet or not and the staff are always happy to help.
It’s the perfect university experience for those who don’t want to venture into a big city. Modern campus with the beauty and depth of a historic city. No need to catch a bus to get to your seminars or lectures as everything you need is in walking distance.
So far it's been great... Very difficult to review the facilities as all learning has been online this year...
WiFi is good I guess. I wish that there was more options for people with lower abilities for sports, or if they just want to do it for fun.
Lincoln uni is great and the town is a very lively and active place. All the uni staff are lovely and genuinely will help you no matter what.
Loved working here on my course this year despite the pandemic everything has seemed to work out. Looking forward to studying here next year!
I am really happy to be part of such a good University which gives me the opportunity to grow as an individual and gain knowledge in a great environment!
Great University with plenty to do!
Lovely campus and facilities, often takes a while to get replies from staff.
Great campus with lots going on and brilliant facilities
Uni of Lincoln is a brilliant university to study at, and it also offers a diverse range of courses you can study! All the staff I have come across are really helpful and really easy to talk too! During this pandemic, I have struggled academically, but my lecturers made it so much easier for me!
Lack of passionate staff but ok on the whole.
Welcoming atmosphere and great staff.
It's a welcoming university and a warm environment to be in
Overall brilliant experience. Lecturers go above and beyond to ensure you understand how to go about assignments, reading, tasks set. Especially with everything going on they couldn’t be do anything more.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the University of Lincoln
Been here 2 years, very good all-round
Not really sure cos I’ve hardly been there
Good place to be however the online courses are not the best way to learn
it would be better if we could actually go to uni and not sit in my room and watch through my laptop.
Haven’t experienced much due to lockdowns.
They have made going virtual easy! Also a very modern campus in a great city.
Lovely campus and some really great facilities
I haven’t been at the university a lot.
Please that all the facilities and that the university can offer a student.
Great place surrounded by lots of shops, the lecturers are so helpful and friendly!
Absolutely love living at Gravity, IconInc! The facilities are amazing and everyone who works here is so lovely! Especially during this pandemic it really feels like a home away from home! Would recommend it to students looking for accommodation especially because the location is so close to the High Street and university!
Buildings are Morden and nice, tho didn’t get to see much in first year due to covid 19
Good campus and love the library
Eduroam is awful but the staff in SSPS are always lovely
I love UoL, my professors are really useful. I enjoy the city as well ngl. But only concern is having an Ethernet port in my room lol. Beside that I would recommend UoL to anyone.
I hate university at the moment, I have even felt suicidal, due to having to live in the way we're living at the moment. Absolutely nothing beats having human contact with others and learning together IN PERSON. I hate waking up to my laptop everyday watching lectures online. It has been incredibly draining mentally and no one cares these days. There's not even societies I can go to properly in person to take my mind off things, I hate life at the moment and it feels as though life will never get better again. Not that anyone will ever care though.
Doing graphic design at the uni was fantastic, the tutors are absolutely incredible especially Barrie and Jo who I had in my 3rd year, the studio space feels like a little family and the facilities you can uses are incredible!
Campus is great, all close together with shops nearby. Library is nice.
Great uni, campus and library are great and really close to the town centre
University of Lincoln is so easy to navigate and the facilities are outstanding!
Supportive staff, great facilities, made the best out of blended learning due to coronavirus.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lincoln and I have got to know some really good friends.
Nice and modern university in a quiet, historical city
Really great place to study, students union not open so can't review that, but professors are really good
I'm a third year History student and am really glad I came to study at the University of Lincoln. The staff on my course have been brilliant and are always happy to help and often quickly answer any queries you might email them. Their lectures and seminars are very interesting and engaging. The campus feels modern with many buildings being newly built and there are great places to socialise. I like how it doesn't feel isolated and you can easily move between the campus and the city. I really recommend joining a society; I've been part of Athletics since first year and made some great friends and gone to great social activities with them. I feel that it's definitely the best way to meet people and branch out. There's definitely something to do for everyone. The Careers Centre are fantastic and been especially helpful during my third year. It's definitely worth speaking to them in first year too as there's lots of events they put on and many resources to use which are really helpful.
Great facilities the Libary is always quite
Lincoln university is the best
very good snd friendly university
Clean campus and wide range of societies
University of Lincoln is great
It's difficult to judge the University's facility fairly in these challenging times. However, so far we have found communications good and they seem to be doing everything they can to keep students updated and supported. Study is a blended offer at the moment and the tutors are working hard on this.
Great facilities - lots of resources and help available. A lot of help is given with building Linkedin and CV’s. Not so much help with finding a placement but it is very competitive. The course is wonderful with very useful modules that can be applied both in and out of work environment. Lots of social events and clubs :)
I’m just in my room most of the time and a first year so haven’t really experienced the careers service or societies, the students union did a good job trying to make freshers week the best it could be and I appreciate that. The wifi is good in my room but I know some people struggle with staying connected. I want to be able to watch a lecture in a bloody lecture hall!!!!
It’s got good facilities and a nice campus.
Not been down to the university yet
Good nice small university with everything within walking distance
Great online learning with accessible resources
Good Module Choosing, helps ease students into uni life
This is a good university overall and there is very little, if anything, to fault. However, the student union is not as great
Buildings are nice and looked after. Close to shops.
Great campus with a fantastic lobrary
Beautiful campus, everything in walking distance. Love the new and old buildings.
Great uni with a good campus, everything is really close together. Library is great, staff are nice!
Excellent university; campus facilities are very accommodating and easy to find. Particularly recommend the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre.
Great experience I enjoyed my whole time here
Great uni and the nightlife is great
I have nothing bad to say about the university. Staff are helpful, careers have assisted so much during placement search. And lots of opportunities to enhance CV
I had a really nice experience! Therefore I decided to do my master as well!
Good university, bad careers service
Great University, really nice city
The campus facilities are great, especially the library which is big and well-run. There are a lot of societies to choose from (although some are naturally better run than others). Lincoln is both peaceful with the cathedral quarter as well as having a good night life.
Small but modern uni, nice area but very small. Was double booked for exams and basically got left to deal with it so got no grade for the one I couldnt turn up for. Lived in cygnet wharf, nice accom but felt lifeless and wireless internet could be tempremental.
Best uni to come to for any career
The University of Lincoln is amazing.
I love the city I love my university. Living here is probably the best decision of my life that I had made. The people are generally friendly and I feel safe, even walking at night. The staff are excellent and helpful. My course has provided me with absolutely everything I needed from equipment to help. I don’t recommend starting an Erasmus application however - that and it’s disorganisation has completely ruined my second year. Regardless, UoL is definitely a place to study.
A small campus so a really community feel. Great facilities - lots of spaces to learn and use computers, and a lot of library sources are accessible online. Great staff.
I really wouldn't recommend this university to anyone for postgrad design study, some good teachers and some vague. Most of the time powerpoints with big grammars that confuse students like they expect you to figure it out without actually explaining and teaching. Really wish i hadn't studied here and that just for 1yr. The support services and student wellbeing are helpful though
It’s a good uni preferred edge hill campus but the teachers are good
Great university that is constantly climbing the league tables. The facilities provided on campus are excellent. There is a plethora of societies that can be joined, or you can set your own up. The city itself is great, there are lots of places to eat and shop, and the nightlife is great.
Great Uni and I would recommend it to anyone! The nightlife on campus is great and the facilities. They have everything you need and more. The well-being services are some of the best I have experienced, which I think is important for a lot of students.
Awful staff. Very lazy lectures who don't want to teach.
Don't waste your time and money going here. If you like spice heads crawling around, a student union based on exploiting students for their time and money and horribly funded courses where weirdly £9,000 doesn't cover your whole course then you might as well come here. The most helpful review is clearly fake so don't pay any attention to it. Wet and windy, homelessness is rife and they're predatory towards freshers especially.
Internet is shaky, sometimes works okay other times doesn’t
