Good school with reputable lecturers
All I can say is University of Lincoln is the best... My supervisor helped in making it the best as well...
I have everything I need at hand and it's well positioned, which enables me to get anywhere I want to get to
I enjoy the university of lincoln. There is a lot to offer!
Really enjoyed my time at lincoln university
It’s only my third day out here ion know
A really good university, very clean and modern and lectures are very good
The campus is stunning with new amenities appearing almost yearly. The staff on campus (in particular the school of chemistry) are lovely and welcoming. Main issue is the Students Union being rather inept in actually representing students, and the University itself benefits students more than the SU.
Amazing university, Blessed to be studying here!
A nice place to study overall, quite a small campus which is nice at times.
The university and its facilities are on the whole up-to-date, well maintained, and of a high quality especially in the computer science labs. There are plenty of places to study on campus, a good range of sports and societies to get involved in, and all buildings (including accommodation, shops, and restaurants) are within close walking distance so you save money on transport.
I love studying here as all of the tutors are great with helping my studies
Tricky start but a good set of friends and help with the course will get you far :)
Good Uni, however when staff are striking it can be annoying , some staff listen , some don’t
Wonderful staff always there to help, good help systems in place, brilliant modern campus in the middle of the city center so everything is walking distance
I'm in my second semester here in MSc Management, so I would like to share few things about the school. In general, everything about the facility is good, except for the teaching. You come here to study, and teaching is a concern for everyone. In this semester, there are some read-off lecturers who would read out loud the slides and would not even care whether students understood them. The class is held both online and offline and rotates weekly, with frequent last-minute cancellations, which many students find frustrating. For people who are enrolling in the business school, just consider it again.
I enjoy my time at Lincoln University my only issue is the WiFi can be a bit hit and miss on occasions
Great support from uni and great facilities
i’m happy to be at university here!
Close campus where everything is nearby and it is easy to find where you need to be
Though there are some good points, the University generally is not particularly excellent. While the facilities and social scene at the university are exemplary, the University severely falls short on it's standard of teaching, which is often inconsistent and does not provide sufficient description of key topics.
it is really good and the staff are helpful at times
Uni of Lincoln is a very up and coming uni, constantly growing and finding ways to improve the student experience. There have been some issues this year with I.T. and Timetabling but these seem to have been resolved now and hopefully will improve next year. The campus is immaculate, with good facilities and staff are always happy to provide help and support where possible.
Quite Good university experience.
As a first year, I like it at Lincoln as there’s a great variety of clubs, pubs and events on campus depending on what you like, there’s a great amount of societies not just sports ones but a load of arts and craft ones which is perfect if you are interested in that
Friendly university with lots going on but not an overly big city so not too overwhelming for someone coming from the countryside
Career services are impeccable, with expert advice right at the heart of the ground floor in the library. Also, the Students Union have a passion for representing students voices.
I studied Media Production at Lincoln, and if I could take it back and get an apprenticeship I would in a heartbeat. I feel as if I have been scammed. I have been taught things that I could find on a YouTube tutorial, and the amount of writing for a creative course which are a massive part of the grade is crazy. I have been handicapped in grades because I wanted to do the assignments in my own time, even though my work is up to good standard (in my opinion). Do not go to this university if you are wanting to do a creative study, it is not worth it unless the university specialises in that specific subject.
I absolutely love studying here at UoL. Majority of the buildings are well equipped and pleasurable to study in. However, some of the older buildings are definitely crying for an update with old school chairs that you can't really write any notes on without breaking your back. Staff are all friendly and helpful, the campus is beautiful and is always open to the student voice which I feel is very important.
Good university with great university facilities, only thing i could ask for is that the student union feels a bit “childish” at the moment, and the SU nights on wednesday are notoriously not good amongst many students unless you’re in a society.
I don’t know much about SU and I feel like the majority of clubs and socials are all sports based
Good facilities, I feel like the uni could do more to get people involved throughout the year as it is mainly focused at the start of the year. Campus cafés are quite expensive.
Generally a really nice and accessible campus, easy to navigate with maps around. Administration issues can take a long time to get help with.
Fantastic university, and everyone is so keen to learn and socialise here. The student union, reslife, student life teams are so helpful and informative about events around campus. Overall 10/10
There have been some major issues this year with the uni and students union resolving this. However, WiFi has been an issue that continues to come up and is still a problem.
Great, modern campus. Good teaching faculty. Good support network. Library is well equipped and the top floor is great to work on with the vaulted ceiling, skylights and exposed beams! Students’ Union put plenty of events on during the year. Campus is in a great location - almost directly off the high street.
Great uni and ranges of courses. I wish the sports teams were more mindful of those around them as they practice before sociable hours start (7:30am which is far too early), they wake me up every week, and cause me to have to stay awake until they finish. Uni students are usually up working til past midnight, so why is it fair to lose out on sleep because of shouting, screeching, and balls clacking?
It's a good university especially in psychology the faculties are great
I really enjoy studying at the university of Lincoln. The support, teaching and facilities are great.
Overall, it is a good University, I've made a few friends here and the lessons are alright, but some facilities need to be improved, like the accommodation services, they need to be more mindful of people and actually explain things properly and the Lincoln Courts accommodation have very thin walls, so, it's very hard to sleep sometimes, considering how loud a lot of people can be and the fact that there are a lot of fire alarms going off, very often too and maintenance work being done very often as well.
great uni very good great experience
Pretty good as a university helps you achieve your next steps
I have a great experience studying here
Don’t have a bad word to say honestly
Overall a great place to live work and study.
University of Lincoln offers a great experience. Made friends for life and was sad to leave
The university of Lincoln is a great uni!
The university is very good for all things studying. In regards to mental health, the services are very over whelmed
Enjoyed my three years here, great campus and friendly staff!
A great university, everything is within walking distance, including the town centre. Very student friendly and orientated.
Good uni, poor wifi commection for both laptops and phone
University of Lincoln is better than what I expected. The campus is modern, cute and easy to go from one building to the other (just takes a few mins).
Gorgeous campus, every lecturer I’ve had has been very passionate and knowledgeable, and all of the staff are happy to help
Great town and amazing courses. Totally love it here especially seeing as I am the only one from my home town. Hoping to stay here long time!
Mostly clean, good service and nice staff.
Great university, really friendly community and great lectures
Great campus. Helpful staff, do plan things in advance, they often make you wait. The wifi is not great, not because of the speed but there are always some IT issues when connecting to it.
Lincoln is pretty decent tbf. A shame the SU is ran by a bunch of wettys
Great support from course and career service
Amazing uni campus, main reason I came to this campus was for its general natural feel, is in a convenient location; and has many excellent facilities. Also the teaching/lecturing is mostly done in a great fashion
Good uni experience, very nice
Uni isn’t too bad nice campus plenty of courses would like to see more activities and events
Really nice areas to study and relax.
I can recommend this University.
Lovely areas to study and to get something to eat
Great university with plenty of study areas around the campus
Due to Covid there was not much we could do, however whenever there was a lab work or anything that wasn’t a lecture it was very nicely organised.
large variety of societies to choose from, great lecturers who are always willing to help and good atmosphere
I love studying at Lincoln. They have a really good range of equipment for my course and the lecturers are lovely
Decent Uni, amazing professors. Nothing to complain about.
Friendly environment, good staff and great work space
Lots of events for students to go to and make friends
It’s a great uni to study at! You meet so many amazing people that will be your friends for life!
Amazing staff, super friendly people. Would recommend Lincoln to anyone.
Lincoln has been a great experience. The people here are friendly and the staff all throughout the university are so helpful and committed to making sure you get the most out of your time here.
Everything is walking distance and the campus is always clean
I love it here, everywhere is walking distance. Great uni
Good, quiet and clean facilities but a lack of diversity
Enjoyable and fun courses, the student union is really nice, they do many events to support us which is great.
Very good university, really glad I applied for UOL. If you love the RAF, then this is the university! You have the Reds fly over as well as display regularly; we get typhoons from Coningsby and the F15s from Lakenheath pretty regularly too; we also get Waddington's traffic too such as their Beechcraft Shadow, RC135 Rivet Joint as well as other aircraft that visit like the P8 Poseidons based at Lossiemouth. A must apply for if you love aviation. The university itself is really good, they make sure you are getting on with your studies and the student wellbeing team are incredibly helpful which can be rare at other universities in the UK. I highly recommend studying here!
Easy access and very modern buildings
Good uni looking forward to graduating feel like I’ve gained so much in my 3 years here
Pretty good university in itself but I definitely wouldn't live in any of the university run accommodations.
Very central to Lincoln and everything easily accessible
The university has a good campus that provides a variety of activities across campus. The city has a lively night life with many nightclubs, bars and restaurants.
The University is really good, the teaching is really well given whilst all the support needed is provided both academically and non Academically.
Great uni. Brayford is very pretty
It is overall a very good uni and the uni provides a lot of support
University of Lincoln was much better than I expected, the course here is quite humanly designed lol, teachers and campus is just wonderful.
Great course with good help available
Accesible for all students, diverse and great learning spaces
Great campus. Library is always helpful. Sport course has been brill despite Civid challenges.
Average facilities and student Union. Great careers support.
Brilliant university, very social place with great unions.
Overall it was very good and the tables and chairs for discussion sessions worked very well
Uni is nice and most of the staff are amazing. Facilities (particularly the library) could be better
I love the student union bars and quack that happens ever week
University of Lincoln is a lovely university in a great location. It feels like a home away from home.
A great uni, I don't think I would have had a better experience anywhere else
The university is in a great location
