What tenancy length do I need?

Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

The location is perfect just a short walk to both the university and the city center. The property is well-managed, and any issues are quickly addressed by the team. Takes no more than 3 minutes to walk to the main library as well as other close university buildings Great atmosphere of the management of the accommodation and nice, spacious rooms. Lots of celebrations and events throughout the year - there’s always something going on at reception!
Student castle has a family feel, they are happy to help and support all the students the team is friendly and the building is maintained to high standards. They have perfect spaces for studying and entertainment. The community that I've found while living here has made me feel supported and very welcomed. Maintenance is always delt with swiftly too

Staff are really friendly and easy to contact. Rooms are modern and the staff put on good social events throughout the year which has been great for meeting people. There have been some issues with the lift and drains in some rooms but I really love that atmosphere at student castle

The staff that work at student castle Lincoln, are beyond accommodating. They provide that “feeling of home” to living there. The Accomodation throws various social activities accommodating to a wide range of interests that are actually good !!

The staff have always been kind and professional, dealing with any issues that have arisen in the best way they possibly could. The vast majority of the tenants are kind and respectful, most of which are open to a friendly chat.
The staff are lovely, the flat sizes aren't as big as you would think for the price you pay, but overall really good. Decent gym in the building
