The University of Lincoln is a great place to further my education, there were some events during freshers week that could've been handled better by the Students Union.
good uni for people who don’t wanna leave lincolnshire

Great university and nice scenery all around
The University of Lincoln offers an outstanding experience for international students, with a modern campus, a supportive and fun Students' Union, and a wide range of clubs to explore. The Careers Service is highly effective, providing great guidance for future careers, and the campus WiFi is consistently reliable for both study and leisure.
The university is decent for the location and the funding it is given. Lots of opportunity to help with future careers.
Best University in terms of student satisfaction all across England
Basic amount of support from school, tutors really helpfuul
The Internet is sometimes slow but the campus is big and has almost everything and the student Union is really helpful and get back to you. Relatively quickly
Great university, staff at the Student Union is super helpful as well as the staff at student Wellbeing.
I’ve not joined any societies but I’ve seen them out and heard good things about them the students union have held a lot of events and email out the dates and what they’re planning to do each month so you can pick and choose if you want to go.
Great place to be socially, difficult if you don’t like clubbing but plenty of societies to choose from!
The university has been okay at the most part, I've been referred to student wellbeing to help get a diagnosis of ADHD but they're asking I pay a deposit which I cannot afford. The students themselves are mature and relaxed, I feel safe here.
Amazing location in the heart of Lincoln, everything is walkable and easy to navigate!
Really good uni, very helpful lecturer's. Student wellbeing are also very good. Nice clean campus.
A fabulous uni with helpful staff and a great pathway to help with careers and studies.
Not only is the property wonderful but the team is as well. There are numerous amenities and activities provided and it really feels like luxury. The team was also so caring and helpful to their residents, especially the manager Anthony who goes above and beyond. I was an international student and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and accommodated. This is the best place I’ve lived by far and I wish I could just take it to the states with me. Thank you Iconinc Gravity!
Nice modern campus and everything is close together and in the city centre
To summarize my university, the university has a lot to offer in terms of societies and clubs. The university student union can also be accommodating as they have various sectors so you are able to get the best help. The university also has careers and employment offers ranging in lots of different aspects from part time to internship so again they also have a lot to accommodate you in finding work/careers. I mainly use one building and the building is well maintained clean and the equipment we are provided is regularly checked and updated to make sure we are provided with the best software. I have also never had issues with wifi, so I'm not interrupted whilst I'm working.
Overall my experience at UOL has been very positive. There are many services available, covering all aspects of any help support or guidance a student could possibly need.
I love the university of Lincoln. It feels like home and I cannot picture myself anywhere else
Good location!! Many amenities
The University of Lincoln offers an excellent learning environment with modern facilities and a supportive community. The teaching staff are knowledgeable and approachable, fostering both academic and personal growth. Its vibrant campus, located in the heart of a historic city, provides students with a great blend of academic and social life. Overall, it's a fantastic place to study and grow.
Lovely uni nothing can fault it
good ...... need more assistance for international students
Friendly university and great atmosphere
Lincoln is great, it has a community feel which fun societies, sometimes the lecturers aren't so interesting
I had a great four years here, the staff of the uni (history department) are great, the lecturers are above and beyond, my only criticism is the upper echelon of the uni do not look after their own people. I did my whole undergrad and masters without ever using a lecture theatre. The staff are underpaid and overworked and yet the uni still claims they have no money?
Great university, would recommend highly to people.

I don’t know enough about the students union or the societies to comment on. However, the Nursing society doesn’t do anything and promise activities and plans that never seem to happen. The wifi around campus is good however not reliable when first joining the university and have lost attendance through it not working.
I’m a film production student and this course has been amazing

everyone is lovely, the campus is beautiful and there’s lots of places to sit/study. there is so many societies and the students union is great too. plus, there’s lots of university pubs and bars if that’s your thing. there’s so much support from every corner, from the lecturers and tutors themselves to the library and careers support!

Avoid quack if you want your ears to survive… uni can be a bit lacklustre with taking concerns and issues seriously. Careers/Entrepreneurship services are spot on. Definitely one of the best in the country. Lack/no car parking is definitely a big issue for such a large university however. There is no way you can live outside the city centre unless you want to pay ridiculous prices for parking daily
Perfect. Lovely sized and everything is very close.
Thank you so much for spending the time to write us a review. We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed the University of Lincoln. We agree our location is perfect for the needs of our students!
The university itself is nice and lectures are great. Unfortunately the university is more focused on their finance than education. Teaching hours have been reduced with no compensation to students
Many places to study, dine as well as lots of fun things to do. Lincoln is also quite small so everything is close.
I love iq met my best mate here

Good school. Good learning environment
Good school with reputable lecturers
All I can say is University of Lincoln is the best... My supervisor helped in making it the best as well...
I have everything I need at hand and it's well positioned, which enables me to get anywhere I want to get to
I enjoy the university of lincoln. There is a lot to offer!
Really enjoyed my time at lincoln university
It’s only my third day out here ion know
A really good university, very clean and modern and lectures are very good
The campus is stunning with new amenities appearing almost yearly. The staff on campus (in particular the school of chemistry) are lovely and welcoming. Main issue is the Students Union being rather inept in actually representing students, and the University itself benefits students more than the SU.
Amazing university, Blessed to be studying here!
A nice place to study overall, quite a small campus which is nice at times.
The university and its facilities are on the whole up-to-date, well maintained, and of a high quality especially in the computer science labs. There are plenty of places to study on campus, a good range of sports and societies to get involved in, and all buildings (including accommodation, shops, and restaurants) are within close walking distance so you save money on transport.
I love studying here as all of the tutors are great with helping my studies
Tricky start but a good set of friends and help with the course will get you far :)
Good Uni, however when staff are striking it can be annoying , some staff listen , some don’t
Wonderful staff always there to help, good help systems in place, brilliant modern campus in the middle of the city center so everything is walking distance
I'm in my second semester here in MSc Management, so I would like to share few things about the school. In general, everything about the facility is good, except for the teaching. You come here to study, and teaching is a concern for everyone. In this semester, there are some read-off lecturers who would read out loud the slides and would not even care whether students understood them. The class is held both online and offline and rotates weekly, with frequent last-minute cancellations, which many students find frustrating. For people who are enrolling in the business school, just consider it again.
I enjoy my time at Lincoln University my only issue is the WiFi can be a bit hit and miss on occasions
Great support from uni and great facilities
i’m happy to be at university here!
Close campus where everything is nearby and it is easy to find where you need to be
Though there are some good points, the University generally is not particularly excellent. While the facilities and social scene at the university are exemplary, the University severely falls short on it's standard of teaching, which is often inconsistent and does not provide sufficient description of key topics.
it is really good and the staff are helpful at times
Uni of Lincoln is a very up and coming uni, constantly growing and finding ways to improve the student experience. There have been some issues this year with I.T. and Timetabling but these seem to have been resolved now and hopefully will improve next year. The campus is immaculate, with good facilities and staff are always happy to provide help and support where possible.
Quite Good university experience.
As a first year, I like it at Lincoln as there’s a great variety of clubs, pubs and events on campus depending on what you like, there’s a great amount of societies not just sports ones but a load of arts and craft ones which is perfect if you are interested in that
Friendly university with lots going on but not an overly big city so not too overwhelming for someone coming from the countryside
Career services are impeccable, with expert advice right at the heart of the ground floor in the library. Also, the Students Union have a passion for representing students voices.
I studied Media Production at Lincoln, and if I could take it back and get an apprenticeship I would in a heartbeat. I feel as if I have been scammed. I have been taught things that I could find on a YouTube tutorial, and the amount of writing for a creative course which are a massive part of the grade is crazy. I have been handicapped in grades because I wanted to do the assignments in my own time, even though my work is up to good standard (in my opinion). Do not go to this university if you are wanting to do a creative study, it is not worth it unless the university specialises in that specific subject.
I absolutely love studying here at UoL. Majority of the buildings are well equipped and pleasurable to study in. However, some of the older buildings are definitely crying for an update with old school chairs that you can't really write any notes on without breaking your back. Staff are all friendly and helpful, the campus is beautiful and is always open to the student voice which I feel is very important.
Good university with great university facilities, only thing i could ask for is that the student union feels a bit “childish” at the moment, and the SU nights on wednesday are notoriously not good amongst many students unless you’re in a society.
I don’t know much about SU and I feel like the majority of clubs and socials are all sports based
Good facilities, I feel like the uni could do more to get people involved throughout the year as it is mainly focused at the start of the year. Campus cafés are quite expensive.
Generally a really nice and accessible campus, easy to navigate with maps around. Administration issues can take a long time to get help with.
Fantastic university, and everyone is so keen to learn and socialise here. The student union, reslife, student life teams are so helpful and informative about events around campus. Overall 10/10
There have been some major issues this year with the uni and students union resolving this. However, WiFi has been an issue that continues to come up and is still a problem.
Great, modern campus. Good teaching faculty. Good support network. Library is well equipped and the top floor is great to work on with the vaulted ceiling, skylights and exposed beams! Students’ Union put plenty of events on during the year. Campus is in a great location - almost directly off the high street.
Great uni and ranges of courses. I wish the sports teams were more mindful of those around them as they practice before sociable hours start (7:30am which is far too early), they wake me up every week, and cause me to have to stay awake until they finish. Uni students are usually up working til past midnight, so why is it fair to lose out on sleep because of shouting, screeching, and balls clacking?
It's a good university especially in psychology the faculties are great
I really enjoy studying at the university of Lincoln. The support, teaching and facilities are great.
Overall, it is a good University, I've made a few friends here and the lessons are alright, but some facilities need to be improved, like the accommodation services, they need to be more mindful of people and actually explain things properly and the Lincoln Courts accommodation have very thin walls, so, it's very hard to sleep sometimes, considering how loud a lot of people can be and the fact that there are a lot of fire alarms going off, very often too and maintenance work being done very often as well.
great uni very good great experience
Pretty good as a university helps you achieve your next steps
I have a great experience studying here
Don’t have a bad word to say honestly
