This is my second year living here and i still absolutely love it! I have rebooked again for next year, which the girls on reception have been so helpful with and made it so easy! the staff are so friendly and easy to talk to, the location is great and my room is so homely. Would recommend to any student in Chester :)
I like it here so much that I am rebooking for next year. The whole building is nice, there are social events every week, and the staff are very kind and welcoming.
Great and friendly atmosphere, train at the Hammond which is affiliated with the uni, highly recommend for musical theatre students
I love the university and the psychology department. Great faculty.
Good university, friendly staff
Great courses, everyone is so friendly. The campuses are lovely and have everything you need.

Really happy with my experience at the University of Chester. This was truly a career transforming experience for me and my fellow students as we all have the same opinion. The teachers were helpful the campuses are great.
Staff are lovely and campuses are functionally brilliant.
Good uni, nice library, would recommend to others
Amazing experience here in my first 3 weeks!
love it here, everyone is so kind.
Great university with lecturers who always help you when you’re struggling.
All the staff are friendly and very approachable. It is encourages to talk and make use of the staff so I don't fell bad when I am booking appointments to talk about the course. There are many societies for everyone to join. The Campus is excellent and the Chester is a lovely city to live in with something to do every day.
Welcome week has been a wonderful experience, and I’m so excited to start my journey here. The university offers a lot of support, and the lecturers are well trained in their fields.
Good campus overall great socal spaces
The university were consistently reassuring us of the services available to us and helping us by signposting to anything we may need, even faculty members like the dean will choose to stop and talk to you to ask you about your experiences, they constantly want feedback on how they could improve as well
Our two campus cats just showing up at different places on the main campus, I would say is the highlight of my day or when Millie would just invite herself into our accommodation.
Wifi is slow but appart from that the faciltities are really good.
Tudor Place offers excellent, contemporary accommodation. Its prime location is just a 5-minute stroll from Chester City Centre and Exton Park Main Campus, making it incredibly convenient. I had the pleasure of staying there for 7 months and was thoroughly impressed. The staff are outstanding—always friendly and ready to assist. I would highly recommend Tudor Place, giving it a perfect 10/10.
Perfect experience so far :) Great campus
Excellent place to live, Great Value for money, right on the canal with a great view, next to a good bar, Staff are always friendly and helpful resolving any issues within a short time with no hassle, any student wanting to live in Chester should definitely get a place at the towpath.
Had an amazing experience so far, looking forward to my future years
The nursing course is targeted at Adult Nurses. Mental Health Students are often an afterthought and the quality of teaching in years 1 and 2 was poor. Significant improvements were made in year 3, but this was as a result of critical feedback at the end of year 2.
Loved my years at Chester university, would have loved a little more help on careers and less pressure to always be finding a job.
I really enjoy attending Chester University.
university of Chester is located in very beautiful and ancient city where breathtaking views to be observe. chester university have every kind of facilities, clubs and sports and etc. and way of teaching is excellent.
The campus facilities are very nice and all the staff and professors are very helpful.
3 Campus’s spread around Chester, within a 30 minute walk from each other. I currently study at the Queens Park Campus, where there is a cafeteria providing ready cooked meals for lunch and breakfast. I am aware that the clubs and societies like the dance society are great as I took part of a few of the dance classes, a welcoming and friendly atmosphere from both the students and those running the societies
Overall good facilities and experiences
Uni is lovely and well organised and run.
The university is great, and meets all of my studying and social needs.
I joined the lacrosse society this year with my flatmate from Tudor. This society made me feel welcome and I have met many lovely people that are my friends now. Never felt alone at this university and I am enjoying it a lot, my master. I feel supported by my tutor and so fare has been an amazing experience.
the university of chester is good
I have really enjoyed my time at this university! I have made friends for life and feel so supported by my lecturers
I study at the wheeler campus, its a beautiful site with great canteen and nice classrooms~
Very good facilities and activities
Great university. Offers lots of support!
The campus is good with the needed facilities. There are a range of sports and societies
Never used the careers service so hard to give an opinion
Not much social events but with the new renovation it's nicer facilities
From my experience of the facilities and interactions with staff; very friendly, accessible and an extremely good experience
Great university in a very good location
It's a supportive and friendly environment. Love the activities such as badman classes.
Modern campus that had everything you need! Easy to navigate and really good facilities
There’s a satisfactory range of activities/facilities/opportunities here
Pretty decent, provides what you need and maybe a little more.
History department are amazing!
Great place to be all around to be honest
Being a student at the University Of Chester had been a wonderful experience, the library facilities are wonderful, they have a wide range of sports team that you can join and a number of societies that you can be part of they also have amazing food facilities which is brilliant. However the WiFi is poor and systems are often down throughout the year which isn’t always convenient, but the overall experience has been quite good
Great experience so far, first year done
Lovely uni to be at. Would definitely recommend
Really great, small university. It doesn’t get the funding that larger universities get, but the quality of the learning and the social experience is never compromised. Unlike the larger universities, they actually know your name!
Everyone is super friendly and the uni is kept clean
Lovely uni, I have made so many amazing friends and have had an amazing experience thus far
A great atmosphere with welcoming students all around. A wonderful selection of sports and events throughout the year
Lots of student amenities near by, amazing place to make new friends and try new things
Great university that’s has a campus with everything you need on. Great study rooms and friendly staff, library is amazing and has recently been updated.
Chester is a good relatively small university. There are many clubs, especially sports, and events that you can take part in. The campus itself (Exton Park) is easy to navigate and is always clean. The wifi on campus can be a little temperamental, but generally is ok. The lecturers in my experience are all very friendly and genuinely care about the students they teach.
Exton park is old and there is always something broken. The seats in most of the lecture rooms are broken. The SU is small so isn’t used a lot.
The lecturers and facilities at chester have been exceptional. Being on a Masters its different for me to experience social societies as classes i wanted to attend are during the day which i have lectures in that time but I am loving it here
I personally have not had an interaction with the careers team but from what I have heard they are incredibly useful. The campus facilities and wifi are all you could ask for really. They have so many sports pitches/fields which are great for sporty students. The wifi is always perfect. Never had any issues with us especially when working in the library for those more academic students. The clubs and societies are all so welcoming and always a lot of fun on a Wednesday night social.
I mainly use the wheeler campus and i think it’s lovely. It’s clean and there’s canteen selling breakfasts lunch and dinner which is great. The societies in the uni i would say are good but there is not a large range. Other than that great.
This is a really good accommodation with any issues always attended to in a matter of days. Never had a problem living here for the last two years and excited to have booked for a third.
The campus is in a great location and the lectures are very helpful
1. I have thoroughly enjoyed my times here at Granary Studios. From move in week the atmosphere created has been next level, consistent weekly events including freebie Friday. The place is well secure with staff in the office and student wardens at night. The student wardens are very friendly. Cleaning is 100%.
Good uni with regular career help and good sports favi
really good university overall
Great library and social spaces.
Lovely and amazing and brilliant
Lovely campuses with great lecturers
lovely university. Good societies and facilities
Very good uni , more support for mental health and disability’s would be good
Thats really good accommodation and attention with all of my issues. Thanks for that. I feel like home!
The university staff are very helpful and the buildings are well maintained
Very understanding university helpful in every aspect. Will recommend people to apply here you won’t regret it.
Lovely campus, lots of support available
Brilliant Uni to meet people and engaging lectures.
lack of support from my experience, got told to defer the year and wasn’t offered any sort of support.
Lovely site and location, spacious rooms and the library is a plus. I also like the cat on campus, or the group that visit often. WIFI in certain rooms is a hindrance though
Overall great experience, would recommend
University is great. lovely facilities
I found here so lovely, cozy place
I came her due to its location from my home, but I'm happy with the facilities and my course.
Staff are friendly and something to always do on Wednesdays for societies
Chester is alright ! Could be better anyway
Amazing facilities and close to everything such as clubs and socials
Really enjoying university so far and studying at Kingsway campus, there are tons of different societies to join and there’s genuinely something for everyone at Chester
Beautiful campus, amazing library, lots of diversity too.
Its good alot of good socials and facilities
Good selection of societies to join and lecture staff all friendly and knowledgeable
Great range of courses, lots of support offered to help make the experience as smooth as possible
Overall a great university with very accommodating staff and there is always something fun going on.
Chester uni is one of the best choices I have ever made, staff are so supportive and friendly, and everybody is so sociable! Clubs and societies are very inclusive, and very diverse! Couldn't be better!!
Nice campus, always clean and in a good condition. However WiFi is not good atall. Slow and patchy across the whole campus, frustrating when trying to download material for lectures. Needs improvement.
Perfect uni for work/life balance. Would recommend
Uni is good and lecturers are there to support you
It’s okay I guess. Lectures are kinda boring but the societies and socials are amazing. It’s great for social life and interactions
Good Library and other bits and bobs like the cafeteria. Haven’t really utilised SU or Societies or Careers service so not sure. Wi-fi is terrible in most rooms and I can barely log my attendance let alone participate in the internet based activities
Tudor place is a lovely place to stay, all my facilities have been in great condition. My kitchen is good kitchen however doesn’t come with a toaster or kettle but if you split the cost between flatmates it turns out cheap!! The accommodation in total has a gym, study space, games room and cinema room all available to you which is great and they’re all great places to be in. The accommodation is only a 5 minute walk from exton and also from the nearest spoons! Only a 15-20 minute from wheeler campus which is a straight walk down through town centre. It’s a lovely place to live the staff are so nice from all the interactions i’ve had with them and i would most definitely recommend tudor place again to other students. I’ve met some wonderful people through living here and i quite enjoy not being directly on campus. It’s also a gated accommodation which is great especially if you have over protective mums like me.
