I really like UCC and would definitely recommend anyone to apply here. It’s really easy to meet people with the wide variety of clubs and societies and the lecturers are all extremely helpful. I think I would just ask that the campus and lecture halls be a bit cleaner but it’s definitely hard to maintain due to hundreds if not thousands of students using them daily

a beautiful campus with good lecturer support and engagement. I was a class rep for a while and the lecturers were always very accommodating to the class and understanding. the only thing I would comment about it the price of things and culture: there doesn't seem to be much of a student discount in any of the places on campus (eg student bar, merchandise) and the culture in cork I believe is not receptive to students (over 23 pubs, minimal student centred bars). overall it's an okay university to go to, but I don't recommend it if you're coming from a city which has a good student population already as it feels like a little bit of a downgrade
Great university to go to, very happy
UCC holds a special place in my heart and will always be a pivotal moment in my professional development and life journey. You are never alone in times of need, with someone always willing to lend a hand. The welcoming and understanding nature of the campus draws you in and envelops you into the spirit of community and determination.
My experience at UCC has been first class, from state of the art sport facilities to the best library experience. I couldn’t ask for a better uni to study at.
As a graduate student in UCC I can say that the medical students are very well cared for. Small year groups, even smaller group learning and lots of opportunities to ask for help
Great health science buildings and facilities. The Mardyke Gym is very good as well, and the main campus is beautiful!
I am a final year student studying Medical and Health Sciences! Over the past four years , I have been granted opportunities that would have not been possible without the amazing staff at UCC. UCC accommodates for every students needs. Whether that be for a learning disability or financially, nobody is left behind . While the library and some other facilities could do with updating, there’s nothing I would change about the heart of UCC - the people .
Currently I am a first year undergraduate medical student at UCC. My experiences so far with the university and education have been good however as an international student I found that one that I can fault the university on is the lack of internationalism and the lack of support given to international students.
Gorgeous campus with many sports and societies. There is something for everyone
The school is good, students are offered enough support to understand and achieve their goals. Lectures are quite good and they care. The compus itself is good and suitable for learning.
Enjoyed my years in UCC, there are so many facilities to use and clubs and societies to join. The free student health center is very good also.
Ucc is a great space for any student that is looking to study abroad. Very welcoming and has loads of societies to keep you entertained
Ucc is a very good university there is not much to complain about it.
Has varieties of facilities to facilitate learning.
A good campus with reasonable amenities nearby and a good atmosphere
My story with career service is that I got some help and guidance, but unfortunately, I didn't get an offer for a job.
Overall my experience at UCC has been positive, however, there is clear overcrowding in the Boole library at times, indicative of UCC as a business venture to generate income rather than focusing on being a place of academia. Furthermore, the Boole library is frequently cold and WiFi connection in the building is often interrupted. I intend, however, to focus solely on the positive experiences I have had when my course has finished, and the course has been an extremely interesting and intellectually challenging experience and one I shall always value.
Was a great experience overall
UCC has loads of clubs and societies to join. The library is a great facility for study
-very nice campus, with friendly staff and pupils.
Very good college with excellent facilities

After spending many of my teenage years alone and unable to fit in, UCC offered me a warm and diverse environment which enabled me to meet many like-minded individuals through my educational journey as an undergraduate!
I love the inclusivity and diversity in our campus. Every one wants what’s best for the students which I think is great. We also have plant based coffee machines which I think is very thoughtful.
I love studying medicine in UCC. I enjoy the content I am learning and the way in which we are taught. UCC is also great because it’s located in the city.
The main campus is amazing, especially when it's sunny.
I find main campus to be quite dark and moody but Brookfield campus is really nice and has its own library and you don’t have to see too many familiar faces
I have studied at UCC now for three years and have loved the campus
