Granary studios is a home away from home! I’ve met so many amazing people and staff who have become like family to me. My room is lovely and clean from day 1 and Lorna has made sure the communal areas are kept up to standard. The social space has always played host to amazing social events run by Jess, who puts her heart and sole in to making sure everyone has a good time. I’ve never seen someone who spends more time in a student accommodation building despite not actually living in it, like Jess does. Claire is an exceptional manager who really does advocate for the building and the residents in it. If you’re debating between Granary or somewhere else, I really do urge you to choose Granary because you won’t regret it! There’s definitely a reason rebooking is like the hunger games and once you stay here you won’t want to go elsewhere.

Granary Studios offers independent living all whilst being perfectly located in the heart of Chester. You don’t have to worry about being late for class as the University of Chester is only a fourteen-minute walk away. If you are looking to get out and about, you can explore the many shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and nightlife spots all of which can be found on your doorstep.
If you are in a sociable mood, you and your friends can make use of the games room, and social spaces or attend one of the social events hosted throughout the year. I have stayed in more than one accommodation in Chester and it had really put me off the area. Since staying at granary studios it has reignited my love for chester. The staff are so welcoming, even the cleaners are happy to help you with anything, which made my transition so much better! I can personally shout out jess and Claire in reception, they're not just amazing hosts but almost friends, I have been able to come to them with issues that I wouldn't even feel comfortable discussing with my family. Most importantly,my stress has been taken away completely in granary, this is due to their large selection of rooms available with all bills included in the rent. All I pay for is food, and even then jess is consistently letting me know about all the food deals all around chester to help me save money! Lastly the building is so secure with student wardens on site at all times, Tom has been there for me through many sticky situations, such as losing my key and locking myself out, thankyou

The support staff and student wardens here are extraordinary and always willing to help in anyway. I have never had any problems with the building or my room and the staff have been always accommodating and caring of my belongings and personal space.

A really lovely place to stay. Defiantly a tight knit building that’s been created by the staff in the office. When I was asked if I wouldn’t mind sharing my opinion of Granary, I didn’t hesitate for a second. The staff deserve every positive comment about them, they consistently put the effort in to make sure the building is safe, enjoyable and clean.

It’s a brilliant place to live, right on the edge of town, excellent facilities, opportunities to have as much or as little social interaction as you want, the building is secure and well managed, staff are friendly , helpful and knowledgeable.

I love living here! The only problem I’ve ever had is a neighbour being a little loud, but this was quickly sorted out by Jess and Claire and has never happened since. Never felt once that I couldn’t come down to the office, Granary has always been such a welcoming environment. Nightclub is just down the road and an all round wonderful student experience.

After living in another accommodation elsewhere and having a very negative experience, I was very nervous to be moving into another student accommodation building second year (I did consider commuting). I can thankfully say my experience at Granary has been an outstanding one. Non of the issues have followed me to Granary and even if they had Jess and Claire have always been firm on making sure issues are dealt with fast and everyone enjoys their time here. Internet can be a little glitchy from time to time but is always felt with the same day by staff. A really lovely place to stay and I can’t recommend it enough .
Staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. All maintenance issues are resolved promptly and communal areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. 10/10 would and have recommend to a friend as even the lower tier/smaller studios are roomy and have a comfortable sized bathroom unlike other accommodation I've viewed.

This is a really good accommodation with any issues always attended to in a matter of days. Never had a problem living here for the last two years and excited to have booked for a third.

A stunning accomodation. Lovely place to be situated just behind the new market and near story house. The social areas are always clean and tidy and we are always able to hang out with staff in the office if we're having a rough time at uni. Jess will even make sure you go to uni and be your personal alarm clock when needed. Really recommend the accomodation.
Great building location and friendly staff onsite. Lived here for 2 years and would change that at all. Really good anc lean facilities and the vending machine is perfect for that little pick me up late at night. Pleanty of events on as well and ample opportunities to get to know others in your building. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys their own space and company.

Really appreciate the hospitality of the facility management team, especially Jess. I’ve had a lovely experience at Granary, it’s a very modern building with a great team behind it.
Student wardens are amazing. Love having them and so convenient to have individuals living with you in the building who can let you in if you forget your key… which I always do. I love the community vibe here and love all the events put on by staff and residents. Would stay here 100000 x times over.

The student wardens are always available if you need anything in the evenings (especially when i lock myself out my room lol) and Jess in the office is very helpful during the day. If you are looking for a place to stay with a homely feel, that feels so much more than just an accommodation building I cannot recommend Granary enough.
As a mature student and a very anxious person. I knew a studio was what I was after but anything more than that I was unsure. 7 months in, I can happily say I’ve been able to socialise to a degree I never would have dreamed of. The people are very pleasant and staff lovely. I’ve had no issues with my room since moving in and the shared amenities such as the bike store have been a blessing for when bringing a car isn’t an option. I am a very anxious person so knowing that staff are always happy to listen and help has aided me immensely, they never make me feel like I am taking up their time and have consistently made me feel valued as a resident living with them.
Great location, exceptional staff that always go above and beyond for every resident. Always there to help ease any concerns, health problems and everything in between. I couldn't ask for a better student accommodation as a mature student. The team here have been fantastic in helping me settle in before, during and after moving in!
Staff are very helpful and provided any help and support when I need. The studio itself provided everything I needed, it was bright and clean and a modern vibe. I’ve found all my friends love staying over and I’m frequently the accommodation everyone wants to visit. The shared facilities are always kept clean by Lorna and are often decorated with a theme for upcoming events. Jess in the office a balloon arch and is always putting consistent effort in to making sure the atmosphere is a good one.
My experience of this accommodation had been outstanding. Definitely better than my previous year’s stays elsewhere. Lovely having staff available 24/7 is a great help when you need help with something and nice to know staff are always happy to have a chat. My mum was nervous for me to leave home and stay elsewhere for uni, but even she is happy to see me at Granary, so they must be doing something right.
No place like it. Once you’ve been elsewhere and then been to Granary you know there is no comparison.
Great overall ambience through the building and there’s always something to do. I feel that the events are catered towards bringing people out of their shells and allowing them to meet new people and have an incredible university experience. There really is something for everyone, crafty events, party’s, food related and freebies.
A high level service consistently. Staff made freshers week! They helped elevate freshers weeks and helped all of us mingle together. A great location less than a minute away from the city centre and only a ten min walk to uni. Really happy to have rebooked for next year and will definitely be aiming to rebook for a third.
absolute exceptional student accommodation with staff that are always committed and help me, in more ways than just the typical move in worries. The building is well ran by Claire and Jess is always available and helpful in the office. Lorna keeps the building lovely and clean and Paul maintenance man is always quick to respond and fix any issues. overall would really recommend this accommodation to others and gutted I only found this place in my final year of uni.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my times here at Granary Studios. From move in week the atmosphere created has been next level, consistent weekly events including freebie Friday. The place is well secure with staff in the office and student wardens at night. The student wardens are very friendly. Cleaning is 100%.

Jess is unbelievably helpful in the office, pre moving in she helped me with all my questions, pre-moving jitters, and worries. Since moving in she has gone above and beyond with not just myself but everyone in the building ensuring they are okay, happy, and most importantly attending university! She has also managed to create such a fun environment for all residents with such a vast array of events and freebies for everyone. The building is always clean and tidy, and the room layouts are exactly what a student needs. Overall, could not recommend the building, staff, and company enough. I am so excited to be staying here next year and there is a reason they are consistently sort after for accommodation in Chester.

Granary Studios is located in the heart of Chester, with great access to local shops and other city amenities. The main university campus is only a 15-minute walk away which makes it very convenient. The rooms are spacious, modern and bright . The social space is large and contains a TV , a fussball table , and a vending machine along with seating for bigger groups. The staff organise regular events catered to the residents, so there is never a dull moment. The office staff is always on hand and very helpful, they ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the students, The building is kept extremely clean by the fantastic cleaning team which keeps the building presentable and home-like. The internet is very fast with speeds of over 300mb/s meaning that doing any remote lectures ore enjoying videogames is never interrupted by a bad connection

Great value for money for the space you get, i always get called posh for where i live because of how immaculate the property is and how it looks. Ideal location as it's only a 10 minute walk to both campus and work for me. Now we have a cinema right on our doorstep what more could you want!

Perfect sized accomodation. Great space to live cofortably but still have the social aspect. Building is always tidy and inviting. Location is great only 10 min walk to campus which is always useful.
We completely agree with you that Granary is ideally placed. An ideal central location, the city centre and bars & restaurants are only a stone’s throw away and perfect walking distance to the university campus.

A great accomodation with lots of social events. Clearning of the communal areas is 100% and the managment team are always there for me. They are knowledgable and i will be rebooking for next year.

Excellent accomodation, this is my second year here and i would never think to choose elsewhere. Social events have been exceptional in recent months with staff trying really hard and always super helpful. Even issues not relating to the accomodation, the staff have still helped me through.

Granary studios is the best accomodation it has a perfect location surrounding town and public transport links its a very spacious accomodation i feel very happy here and i love having my own kitchen and bathroom as havung my own space is important for me so its perfect

A lovely warm social environment, where everyone can get along with clean and functioning facilities.
Had a great year here, however online it is advertised as having staff onsite 24/7 - this is not true as there is only staff 8-5 if lucky. Most times 8am-1pm. No overnight staff and when they were requested due to a broken entrance, they were unfriendly and unreasonably aggressive.
Wonderful staff who are friendly and easy to approach. Studios are definitely worth every penny as the furniture they come with are good quality and the mattresses are comfortable. Lots of small events/online presence (such as helpful tips for budgeting etc. on the Instagram page).
The staff are always friendly and amazing to be with. Security offer a fast service but could be a little bit friendlier. The location is 10/10 close to my town everything within a 5 - 10 minute walk.
Excellent facilities & location with friendly and understanding staff
Being a 1st year student, opting for a studio rather than a flat share or house share, granary is a really comfortable place to settle in on your own, the rooms have more than enough space even for a bronze, social space and events could be used a lot more, the company could help fund more events for the students here as it has been hard to meet people here with them being studios accommodation.
Claire is an exceptional member of Granary Studios. She has looked after me from day 1. Always helping me in times of need. Not just due to my accommodation but as well as general life.

Spacious and comfortable flats with a modern design, has everything I need. The management team is always friendly and easy to reach with any queries, plus they keep us up to date with everything via email.

Staying at Granary studios is fantastic. The rooms are very conducive, and the location is central such that you never have to worry about getting to the main areas in Chester on time.
We could not agree more.... Granary Studios really is in a central location in Chester. With the City Centre being only a 5 minute walk away and the University only a 10 minute walk away, it really is not hard to easily get yourself around.
location is amazing!! also extremely clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. I love living here so much I’m going to live here again next year

Great facilities and building. At the minute there is often no people in the office but they are still making do after losing a valuable worker (James).
Thank you for your feedback. Completely agree, James was a very valuable member of the team and it has proven difficult to find a replacement who is just as good. However, we do believe we have found this now and that normal office hours will resume soon. Even if the office is closed, a member of the accommodation team is available 24/7 and always responds to give assistance.
Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, loveliest staff and will always say hi when passing by. The most helpful and supportive people ever. Facilities amazing anything you need help with is immediately dealt with. Cleaner in every week to ensure social spaces are intact. And also super comfortable !

I live in a gold studio which is very spacious. It has a lot of place for storage. The interior is fantastic. Luckily i have 3 windows in my room so the ventilation is also good. It is located in the city center so its very convenient for students because everything is nearby (banks, markets, stations) . Our service assistant is also very helpful and friendly. The building is well maintained and clean. Overall I’m glad that i choose Granary Studios as my residence.

Granary studios are the cleanest, most modern and quiet accommodation for students I’ve found in Chester. The staff is so helpful and kind, so you will never feel abandoned. You will never regret you chose it.
It’s a really lovely place to live in, feels like a safe home for international students far from home that’s the most amazing part.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time living in Granary studios, the facilities are great and the staff are really helpful.
Fully furnished room with quiet environment. Best for single type of occupancy. All bills included within rent. Free access to fast Internet (speed up to 20mb downloading speed) and tudor place gym. Worth every single penny spend on it. It's just like living under paradise!
Claire is amazing and she can sort out anything for you! Studios are great, location is in the beginning of the centre and it’s close to everywhere!
Unfortunately, it's such a shame the place was NOT BUILT LAST YEAR!!!! Would have much prefered living here last year than another student accommodation not far from this place. I am only 2 weeks in, however, I have never felt happier in my life, the residents are absolutely amazing people, AND so are the staff not a bad word to say about anyone or anything, Thank you to Claire and Lorna for making me feel so welcomed. I would 100% recommend this place!! I am currently in a Gold Studio by myself and I couldn't have picked a better studio (even though they are all great). Will definitely be staying here for the rest of my university life! Granary Studios stands by its motto "Fresh Start with Fresh!"
What can I say? This is an absolutely lovely place to live. We're a week in now and me and my girlfriend have moved into a Deluxe studio and its amazing! The space, the view, the appliances is all just fantastic. Storage is everywhere and never short of it, the rooms are brand new and modern! It has an amazing, cosy social space which is where the Manager, Claire, and staff member, Lorna, held a big welcome party for those that moved in, where we played some games, eat pizza, cakes, sweets, chocolate... you name it, and had a good chat and a laugh so we all got to knew each other! Overall, what an amazing place to live! We have only lived in one other location beforehand and this is definitely the best decision we made :)
Lovely place, me and my boyfriend have just moved into a deluxe studio and it’s big and spacious and the best studios I have seen in Chester! The manager and staff Lorna are lovely & they threw us a lovely welcome party with pizza to get to know the other students that moved in as well! It was a quick and easy way to get to know each other! All round Granary is the best place so far as there was a problem discovered with my phone in my room and the electrician was called the next day! I cannot say thank you enough.

I can't recommend this place enough and it isn't even built yet! Claire the onsite manager is truly amazing, she is there for us with anything and we haven't even moved in yet. I truly cannot wait to move in, in September. Claire helped me and my boyfriend secure the deluxe studio we wanted and went out of her way to get us a hard hat and boots to show us our new room. The social events they will be holding will be amazing including freebie friday, pizza night and more! This place already feels like home to us and we aren't even there yet! please if you have change go and check it out, you will not regret this! So so happy to say i will be living there in September and cannot thank Claire enough for all the help.
