Lecturers are lovely, respond to emails quickly and are very helpful
Overall the university is good. The amount of strikes from lectures is concerning and it does have a negative impact on students. The wifi could also be improved.

A really good university with lots of good opportunities
University of Chester is a great place to study if you are an international student. It is very welcoming and the lectures are top notch. The lecturers are always ready to help and they listen to your questions carefully to make sure you get answers.
Perfect facilities, staff are all lovely. Rooms are amazing. Never had an issue here

Not the best Uni but the staff are very helpful when needed but there isn’t much facilities and all seems quite old/standard
good all round uni, the location and history of the town is a bonus
The University of Chester has truly helped me grow; intellectually and socially. My course has really pushed my comfort zones to enable me to become confident within my academic skills. Personally I wish there was a wider range of societies and events to advertise theses clubs so that more people can get involved.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Uoc so far. All the members of staff are so willing to see you succeed and that is very reassuring.
university facilities are very basic. wifi is good, career service has very limited options compared to the number of students looking for jobs, very very few societies and little variation in clubs beyond the classic sport teams
Honestly love chester ! Staff are really helpful and personally my PAT is one of the most understanding and supportive people I have ever met. All feedback is helpful in assignments and knowing where to improve is shown. Consistent timetables which is helpful to those who prefer consistency.

I have found societies very clicks and unwelcoming. The campus is in need of renovation as it doesn't look very appealing.

Lovely university, the staff and lecturers are wonderful and are always eager to help students. The student Union is very friendly as well.
I like the university of Chester. However, some of their facilities such as the library at exerton campus misses out some chairs for table. There are lots of different places to sit and learn. The staff is extremely helpful and lovely. I am coming from abroad and they are really kind, generous and thoughtful in what they do and what they don't do.
Lovely uni with excellent lecturers who always help when needed
Overpromised and underdelivered, societies are awful, Constant cancellations, mental health services are rubbish, a tutor publicly praised the work of a terrorist in class. Reception staff are always great. barely attended class this year because of the constant strikes, where’s my money back? Outdated in parts. Only one decent student accommodation building, the rest are not suitable for human occupation. No transport for far away campuses. Dangerous ideology being taught in unrelated subjects. Some great individuals in this uni really dedicated and helpful going above and beyond but as a whole it really let me down I could leave tomorrow and I feel like I have gained nothing very disappointed as it’s a beautiful city with some great people

I have enjoyed my first year at chester University. My course ,history, is really interesting and the course leaders are amazing. I study at Exton Park which has a great library and the SU where you can get some lunch.
Ok uni but terrible signal on campus, not much to do as it’s a small campus and the PATs usually don’t do what they are supposed to do
It’s a small university, which is good since you can learn a lot more in small classes. Also all of the staff is really nice and competent. They always try to help you out every way they can.

Great university, recommended, the campus is huge, a lot of facilities, the best building for me is the sports hall, coz i love doing sports. And there's football field as well.

The university has so much to offer. Staff are always willing to help and offer support. You never feel truly stuck or alone, and there is always going to be a group/society for you.

Alright uni however I think transport should be available to campus’s especially for people staying at Exton park and have to travel to Queen’s Park’s

Chester uni is a great location and has great support
I study sports coaching, the help I receive from my lecturers Paul Humphries and Jason Clare are fantastic, even in a personal level when I had suffered with a back injury and later with mental health issues they guided me through this tough time and really picked me back up again. Being a committee member of the football is brilliant, the team I work with is great. Being able to Captain Chester mens thirds is a great experience and Especially if you study in the area of coaching or teaching.

Chester uni is great, there is literally anything and everything to do on campus. The student union bar is always a blast and the societies are very active. Coming Chester University will keep you happy and active for all the time you study and stay here.

Main campus and business campus good but arts campus feels a bit left behind in terms of events and canteen options and could do with improvement
UOC was one of my first choices for unis and i’m so glad it was, every lecturer is wonderful and gives 110% towards each and every lecture, everyone you meet on campus (even the campus cat) is always friendly.

Love the university. It is a very friendly community and there is a wide range of societies to join. Although an outdoors society where you go walking, white water rafting, zip lining, kayaking etc in wales would be perfect!
