Stayed at Hayes Wharf this year and loved it. Really close to town and local shops but also close to uni. Staff at reception are always so friendly and will help however they can and the maintenance team are great too. It's the same company as Pavs so any events are usually held there because the social room is bigger but we're always encouraged to go over there and join. We can also use the study rooms there which is ideal being so close to uni.

I stayed in Hayes Wharf for the first three months of my first year. I am aware that there have been some renovations since I first lived there, however when I was there it was completely run-down. The carpets were stained, chairs had rips out of them and my door was falling apart. I had major issues with my flatmates using and storing drugs in the flat as well as them leaving the kitchen in such a mess there was mould and flies. I complained multiple times but nothing ever got done which resulted in me moving out. There aren't many washing machines available and it's a very quiet accommodation. I wouldn't recommend living here.
Hayes Wharf is not what is seems. I was quite excited to start living at Hayes Wharf for many reasons but on arrival I was given the smallest room (when paying the same price as everyone else in my flat) stained carpet, broken bathroom door, missing loo roll holder, black mould on the curtain and shower head, broken desk chair and draw with a horrible smell from the mould and the smoke alarm was hanging out the celling. I was too excited on my arrival to care about complaining, I washed the curtain (as the halls would not replace) using my own money. I am 5 months into my stay here and I am still waiting on a new desk chair. The kitchen and sharing space is another story, we have a set of plug sockets which do not work as they were placed there for "a show room" and a faulty plug socket which gives us power outages. This is the most stressful environment I have ever lived in! I do not wish any other student to go through this pain and stress I have endured!
Great value for money, maintenance issues get fixed instantly, good facilities but no common room
Hayes wharf was good, had nice ensuites and a good size 3/4 bed. However the reception staff were awful, were barely in and always forgot to give me my post/packages. Wifi was the best and allows you to have 6 devices which is plenty enough for uni work. Location was good as was 5 mins from lectures but it didn't have the social life of halls such as Courts
From what I've experienced so far, Hayes Wharf is pretty darn nice.
Brilliant hall, just needs more staff to run it more effectively
always quick to fix anything and answer any emails
