The University is very welcoming and ready to take on any feedback from the students. There are a lot of societies and events to get stuck into and good range of studie locations on campus. From the libary for silent studies, group studies and private rooms to the subu building with lots of chairs and great music. The food is reasonably priced with a lot of different places to grab a bite. The buses coming to the uni are fairly frequent and parking is pretty easy. Wifi has dropped a few times in the libary but usually sorts itself out quickly. Signal in the lecture halls is fairly bad so it's important to either sign into brightspace before your lectyre or change the authentication method to not rely on text messages.
Good campus, with good transport links in and out of the uni. Has everything you could want. Good overall campus community. Nothing to complain about.
Very happy with my choice of university
My lecturers and the course and facilities are subpar
Love the people, needs mor variety of clubs, very anti politics, they are suspending my degree, not allowed to protest on campus. They've stopped funding my course so it feels pointless to pay this much for the teaching I get
Studying at Bournemouth University has been a mixed experience for me. On one hand, the academic opportunities and services provided by the university have been excellent. The resources available, such as the library, career services, and online learning platforms, have really helped me develop my skills and opened doors for future career prospects. The university provides strong support in terms of academic development, and I have found the course content engaging and insightful. However, my experience with student life has been more challenging. I have struggled to fit in and found it difficult to make friends, which has made my time at university feel isolating at times. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like I received enough support from lecturers or staff in terms of helping me integrate or ensuring I felt part of the university community. While there are services available for student well-being, I feel that more proactive support from teachers could have made a difference in my expe
School is nice. Facilities are always nice and clean. Staff aside from teachers struggle to get stuff done in efficient time. They take their time which is not helpful when they want you to do something quick but then you’re behind because the staff will not complete the job they get paid for
I’ve had the best time staying in student accommodation and have made the bestest friends in my flat.
Bournemouth University is very international-student friendly. Doctoral College stuff are very friendly and helped me settle in. Supportive staff members make academics l worth it.
Very nice campus, all my lecturers are fun and engaging.
