great uni, good people and facilities!
Generally the uni is a very open, welcoming place. Plenty of clubs and societies to choose from, despite the fact I joined and didn’t attend any meetings lol! Lecturers are all helpful and willing to assist on coursework. We had ice breaker activities to make friends which was really helpful, especially in my course which is film- where you need to make “allies”. Lots of places to study on campus too.
I loved my course and my staff and I had loads of opportunities in the student union.
If you’re looking for accommodation in Bournemouth, belaton house is the way to go. With an all round fantastic staff, especially the Maintenance man Paul, to make you feel welcome from the get go. Vibrant colours on the walls to create a calming and environment. All round great experience!!!
Currently in first year. Uni is supportive and helpful. Can’t really comment much more.
Bournemouth University is a brilliant university to study and develop. The Dorset area is rich with amazing sights, and things to do for any student. The Talbot campus is wonderful, with a massive variety of courses, facilities, clubs to be apart of. 9/10
Good facilities and standard of teaching
BU gives more importance to students and their well-being. Clubs and Societies are really active in the university.
This uni is awful. Do not pick here I wish I never did. Cannot stand it no student support at all. No uniform for placement absolute joke.
Really happy and the new gateway building is really nice.
