The staffs are so nice! They help me in time when I meet problems, like repairing things. And there are lots of activities held by Skyline that I can make friends and have fun!

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
Don't live here. Not worth it. My room is constantly too hot, 24 degrees right now and it's 3am with the Window open. Didn't even get a kettle or toaster. No parking. Lifts broken most of the time and the gym was in operation for months. Not worth the money in the slightest
It is way too overpriced for the actual value, the building is cheaply made and would not recommend a friend here.
The apartment is very Asian-friendly and holds some festive parties on a regular basis. . Traditional festivals from China will not be missing either. The service attitude of the apartment staff is very good, especially Hero, who patiently helped me solve a series of problems.

Many activities and good staff.
Excellent , clean, safe, secure, private. Staff are very helpful. Comfortable studios.
The rooms are the nicest in Bournemouth and you feel like you’re living lavish.
I have stayed in skyline for two years now and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The staff especially Sarah Vowles and Chris have been exceptionally welcoming and all around fantastic ! I highly recommend !
Skyline is an incredible accommodation which i have lived in for the whole course of my degree. I could not recommend this place more it’s the perfect destination for university social life. All the staff are so helpful especially Sarah who has been so welcoming and accommodating with my stay. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for your university experience.
Very clean building Lovely staff Amazing views + social spaces Great environment to be in
So far so good! Can’t complain. Staff are lovely and security always there.
Have troubles with using Spotify on the wifi, other than that, amazing!
my stay so far has been wonderful, ive really enjoyed living here. the social spaces are wonderful and the rooms/flats are great value for money compared to other student accommodation.
Great staff, location and facilities
Very luxurious accommodation. One of the best here. They have monthly events which is nice.
I'm writing the review as the staff here has been amazing since I've been here. Every problem I've had has been dealt with very well and dealt with very fast. Huge props to Hero too, only being here a couple days she has been super friendly and dealt with a problem in a very mature manner and sprung on the issue with no hesitation. But overall a really friendly staff environment and really good security!
By far the best student accommodation in Bournemouth!! Management are always happy to help and create an inclusive atmosphere. Loved living here!!
I Love staying in Skyline, the flat is bright and spacious and I feel secure knowing that if I have any issues the team is always downstairs to help
The staff treat you like children and will patronise you when you try to ask for basic things such as post as if they are already sick of you before you have opened your mouth. They have also tried to force themselves into private groupchats for students through asking to 'borrow' their phone, as well as many examples of staff members or workers entering flats without warning or permission. There are constant power cuts, and the locks for the doors are on batteries and so will suddenly die when you are locked outside your room/flat. They often will not resolve an issue until hours or days later, and in some cases, I've heard through other students, months. On top of this, the washing machines are far too few for the number of students in the building and are often out of order--the gym in the basement is also severely lacking. For the extortionate prices they offer, the facilities and attitudes staff presented were unacceptable.
The management staff is amazing! They are super helpful and kind. The accommodation itself is great too. Kitchen/living room is great for socializing and the bedrooms are spacious.
I absolutely love it at Skyline! I have been living here with my boyfriend permanently since September 2020 but I have spent most of my time here since November 2019. The management staff, Sue and Kimberley, are so friendly and personable and I feel I can come to them with any issue at all, they have always made me feel at home. They also host a number of competitions, raffles, events, etc. that make this such a fun place to live even with covid. We have booked another studio flat for our third and final year and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
I’m a second year student and I’ve lived in skyline every since the place opened up and been here ever since and have now booked to live here again for my final year. The place is lovely and the team are more friendly, even recommended more of the students considering where to live for the upcoming years in Uni.
