I had a great time at Sheffield Hallam, especially when it came to the facilities and the academic advisors, always checking up but not harassing! There was never any issues when I needed assistance with something and everything I needed was at hand

It’s a good university from what I have seen so far, but I would not be able to make an accurate guess due to the current pandemic. The accommodations are okay to use

The experience of studying at a University like Sheffield is probably the best experience you'll ever have. It's been Ranked no 1 for its student's union for thr past 12 years running along with having being ranked amongst the Top 5 student accommodations is UK. It is also Top 5 for the student experience which is so important for any university student!!
It has been an amazing school and I really love how students union checks up on students at least once a week.
Not bad. The Arts tower is cool. I spent two years studied here. The teaching crew here are good. But the service staff are not always working effectively.

I unfortunately cannot say much about what I’ve seen since it’s been the four walls of my flat for most the year. I believe it would be a very sociable university if covid hadn’t happened.

Very "familiar" university. Despite everything being away from campus, online, the staff made sure everything was within our reach and everyone has been very helpful.
Very good school, but it is a pity that there are not many opportunities to experience various activities due to the epidemic. The teachers are very kind and responsible, and reply to emails quickly

I think the apartment is very good. First of all, the location is very good. It is very convenient to go to the grocery shopping library to study. At the same time, the decoration style is also very good, and there are many good service staff. It is more convenient to go out, the exit is the city hall. Every time you can go shopping far away in Sheffield. The price is very cheap, because I ordered the studio, which has 25 square meters of space, and there are discounts for all-year reservations. In the morning, the front desk will also provide a variety of snacks and beverages to drink. Great!
I think the University of Sheffield provides students with opportunities to improve themselves in all aspects. There are many excellent student organizations, lots of teaching facilities, lots of libraries for students to borrow books and study on their own.
Due to the Covid-19，I have not yet gone to school to start and end classes, but I went to visit the school and the facilities are complete, and the school staff are always very enthusiastic to help solve problems.
Haven’t spent much time at the university due to COVID but the SU is really nice, several libraries to choose from and places to study, good support services and staff are generally really pleasant and helpful, lots of accommodation in the city. University IT systems could be clearer - some stuff is really hard to navigate and quite a few broken links.
The university of sheffield is great and campus has diverse shops and facilities. The environment is also quiet and clean, three libraries provide abundant academic resources.

Good study experience at University
The university provide a disappointed education resources and charge student high as normal during ongoing pandemic. Overall, It's cheap compared on others (in both ways).
Good uni, lots if social activities
The learning atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I had the chance to visit the campus just some days . I have been only in The Diamond and the Students Union where I liked to stay and study .This year I did not have the chance to join in any societies or to attend any club .
Wouldn't know, I've been in lockdown pretty much my entire degree and working from home. So far the support services for the uni is pants and only some lecturers make learning online worth it. The rest of them out zero effort in. it's an alright university but it wasn't worth the money this year

If you want to choose Sheffield student apartments, Steel city is your best choice. Steel city has a laundry room, gymnasium and a sky loft. It provides entertainment facilities such as table tennis, billiards and Chinese mahjong. Not only that, the staff at Steel city are enthusiastic and service, which will surely make you feel at home.
The environment in school is very good. It’s different from the previous school campus, building are settled in the whole city. There are many green spaces and some ancient buildings in the campus. The library is excellent and the facade design is outstanding
During my unusual first year, the university have still been very helpful and tried to do as much as they can with face to face teaching, for us to be able to use the facilities on campus.
It's a really good uni to be apart of. Full of experiences and help.

For the Biomedical Science course, I would say that they have a very good ensemble of experts who all work really hard to ensure students are prepared for further work/studies and development. It is a very welcoming place overall. Sadly, with the pandemic around, we couldn’t get the full experience.
Some thing they do not good such as our CAS,timetable.l hope they can improve their speed of deal with things.Teachers are good.
This year's experience is not really good.
Due to my first year being one in covid i haven't had the full experience, but what i have so far has been brilliant, i love the city and the university.
I don’t like the administration’s of dealing with problems. I don’t like the fact that the university was at the 78th rank and now became at the 97th rank. There is no clarification on why the university board is operating the way they are right now.
Apartments are comfortable, clean and well managed. The room is large, there are always free drinks and desserts, and the reception service is very good.

The location is very convenient. Close to university buildings and grocery stores. It’s also close to the city centre. The rooms are also well designed. It has tv and heater/air conditioner in each room. I highly recommend this accommodation.
The amenities in the student union are lovely. There is always support when needed regarding career advice, student support, financial advice and more.

The University of Sheffield has a beautiful campus environment and responsible teachers. On the whole, the University of Sheffield is very good in all aspects.
Except for wasting a lot of time and energy by CAS and pre-registration before the start of school, I haven't found anything bad about this school for the time being.
It's a great university which cares students the most and always put us as their priority.

The service in crown house is perfect !Two months ago, I encountered difficulties in opening a bank account. The staff at the front desk patiently helped me solve the difficulties and made me feel very warm.
The University is doing well for what it can throughout the pandemic
We can only have online lesson this year because of the COVID-19. But the group of teacher try them best to help us to solve the problem in life and study. It’s a fantastic study experience.
