Unforgettable experience in Sheffield.
The ranking of the UoS is good and the professors and classmates are working hard. Most of time, the diamond always be crowded even though on the weekends.
internet is pretty slow at times but it's ok. Problems with funding in my department but that's a UK thing not just for this university.
Excellent Students Union. Supportive university staff. Advanced facilities and beautiful campus. Friendly and safe city.

The diamond is a great place to study. Sheffessions is the best Facebook page I’m on. Accommodation is great, halls are lovely. Nightlife is great and there’s loads of choice where to go. The city is great for food and shopping and everything you’d want. There’s loads of trees and parks and all that - it’s a beautiful city (the walk from Endcliffe to the uni is past some nice looking houses and just generally a pretty environment). Would recommend

A world-class university with nice campus and high reputation.
Awesome social life. There are lots of societies for whatever interest you have or culture you come from. The lecture theatres are well equipped and the labs have all the required facilities.
The only thing I want to mention is the computer systems and other service in the university are excellent.
Nice people all around.. really helped in adjusting in the new place!

Great uni, the clubs and facilities are fantastic and help me meet a lot of people from other departments. I study architecture and believe the workshop facilities can be improved/upgraded to include some modern machines that allow for experimentation

In my first year now and so far i am enjoying this experience. The staffs are all so friendly and helpful when i approached for enquiries. I enjoy spending time in the student union and the diamond the most as i feel that the location and environment is ideal.

I think all of my lecturers for my actual course are lovely, but on open days they outright lied about the available facilities. Most people I have spoke to have complained about the lack of mental health support available, I tried to book an appointment weeks ago and heard nothing from them, work really needs to be done on the general facilities, otherwise the Uni is great
Love the Uni so far. The majority of the staff are really passionate and always eager to help. The campus is quite spread out so there’s a lot of walking. But overall, a good experience so far.
This university is wonderful. One of the first things I noticed is that the people working for departments/the union and numerous facilities are friendly and really helpful. It was from the start a lovely experience which made the transition to higher education easy and exciting. There are numerous activities, facilities and opportunities. Three years of uni are not enough to explore what Uni of Sheffield has to offer. That is what worries me. Overall, Uni of has made it clear right from the beginning that it is committed to its students and their futures, and that there are many ways through which the uni can help. I recommend it to any student.

University of Sheffield is awesome. I've studied at three universities and Sheffield uni is the best by far. The best educational experience of my life!

Facilities are great, various services are pretty helpful in all ways. Academically though, would not recommend the School of East Asian Studies at all really.

Wifi in ranmoor is a bit trash, but everywhere else its much better, Student union is the best, has pretty much everything you need as a student.

My first year at University of Sheffield has been nothing short of amazing in terms of the quality of Education we have been given, support from tutors, and the facilities available. I had high expectations for the Student Union, given it was ranked #1 in the UK for the past 10 years, and I was not disappointed.

Amazing campus, such a vibrant city and overall great uni.
The uni is great but the wifi is just like all my acquaintances, lasts no more than a few minutes.
There are many opportunities, good accommodation, very nice place to be. Also even though it's a city uni, everything is close together which gives it a somewhat campus feel.
Itense work but a good laugh. Don’t make the mistake of not joining any societies or sports like I did because you will end up with no mates lol
