Amazing! Super friendly staff and teachers are amazing
Things here can be great to some extent.
Great University, offer many help to international students. Staffs are really helpful, helped out on most of the administration problem.
I think there is a wonderful place
University of Sheffield is one of the top class university in UK. It has a lot of diverse students from different backgrounds and countries. The student union is one of the best . With more than 300 plus clubs and societies, it has something for everyone.
I enjoy using the wifi in the University
The teaching environment is excellent. There are many international students, so the academic atmosphere is open and diverse, and the teachers and students are excellent
Second year has been much better, compared to last year during the pandemic and the lockdowns where we were completely abandoned by the university

It is really good to study in the University of Sheffield. Because of the pandemic made it impossible to take class face to face, university took lots of actions to ensure the quality of teaching. Also, lots of online events help me make good friends too. Thanks to my University!!!
Teaching staff are great, would be good if accommodation service can have some improvements.
There are many teaching buildings and colleges in the university, and the buildings are very beautiful. Good teaching quality, can communicate well with professors and classmates.

The experience I have had with this uni has been through COVID so obviously I have to give them the benefit of the doubt because nothing like this has happened before. The people running my course give zero help and some of them are really rude to me especially when I’m begging for help with the course
As a placement student at The University of Sheffield, I was well looked after and pushed to my academic capacity. The academic staff who were supervising me were helpful and driven and I found my placement a useful experience.

Although due to the crovid-19, we have to attend the online course, the devices in the laboratory are still nice, perhaps students next year would witness it. The student union patiently helped me like picking up my brp and responding to my emails.
I'm here for a PhD. Never heard of Sheffield before applying for my scholarship. It's been a pleasant surprise! I am at the end of my second year now and I'm loving it.
As an Indian, my perception of Uni life was very different. The University has engaging clubs for everyone and provides introductory events. Their career Service and Education on Visa helps to get an idea on how to proceed after the degree.
Due to COVID I have to do everything online as possible, the uni still offers me an excellent year for studying

The university has the greatest facilities. The lecturers are knowledgeable. All the teaching buildings and libraries are distinct and splendid. The campus is at great location and lots of the student accommodations nearby are built of good price.

They screwed us over by limiting our contract hours to 1/4 of what they were
I haven’t been able to join clubs and societies since most haven’t been running and the ones that have haven’t been as beneficial this year as usual hence this review is off base
I have yet to experience an in person lecture but it has been an interesting first in graduate medicine
I had a great time studying here. I had so many great experiences and met so many wonderful people. I am so glad that I chose to come to this university and really recommend anyone thinking of applying here to go for it!

I had a great time at Sheffield Hallam, especially when it came to the facilities and the academic advisors, always checking up but not harassing! There was never any issues when I needed assistance with something and everything I needed was at hand

The experience of studying at a University like Sheffield is probably the best experience you'll ever have. It's been Ranked no 1 for its student's union for thr past 12 years running along with having being ranked amongst the Top 5 student accommodations is UK. It is also Top 5 for the student experience which is so important for any university student!!
It has been an amazing school and I really love how students union checks up on students at least once a week.
Not bad. The Arts tower is cool. I spent two years studied here. The teaching crew here are good. But the service staff are not always working effectively.

I think the apartment is very good. First of all, the location is very good. It is very convenient to go to the grocery shopping library to study. At the same time, the decoration style is also very good, and there are many good service staff. It is more convenient to go out, the exit is the city hall. Every time you can go shopping far away in Sheffield. The price is very cheap, because I ordered the studio, which has 25 square meters of space, and there are discounts for all-year reservations. In the morning, the front desk will also provide a variety of snacks and beverages to drink. Great!
