A memorable year spent at the school. The University of Sheffield is undoubtedly an excellent school. Both in terms of the standard of teaching, the teachers, the facilities and the care for the mental health of the students.
Overall my master was good, I was able to find a job before finishing.
Management school is really far from the city centre. Tutors and professors are pretty nice.

Every day in class, I can climb 20 minutes as a fitness, I feel my body has become better!
The teachers are very interesting in class, and usually they are very friendly when they communicate with me. The overall campus environment is very good, facilities are very complete, no matter in which library can be very easy to study.

My time at Sheffield for my MA has been a really fun experience, I did my BA at a different uni that I really enjoyed, but the people in Sheffield, both at uni and that live here are really friendly. As someone who lives alone during term time, this really makes all the difference. The lecturers in the History department are incredibly supportive and helpful for essay writing and exploring academic ideas.

The school is really beautiful and comfortable. The atmosphere of the class is also good. After class, you can stroll around the school and soak up the sun

Great facilities and student’s union
Sheffield university has been my place of study for 4 years and it's perfect for me. The close proximity to city accomodation nightlife and university lectures is amazing and the sport clubs are great too

Great experience so far despite challenges of Covid and strikes. Haven’t had any issues and always felt like everything i needed was there.
This is my 4th year at Uni of Sheffield. I’ve loved every second of it. Before, during & after lockdowns, the academic side has been great. There are more societies than I can count & the SU is second to none.
whenever I go home I honestly can’t wait to go back to uni, which is something I never thought I’d say 3 years ago. great city and uni but what are they doing with the archaeology dep

Great campus, lots of things nearby for lecture breaks
The equipment at the teaching labs In school of biosciences is too old, though practicals can still be carried out. The covering area and the speed of Wifi are good, but often to be untable.
The school is ok, the curriculum arrangement is reasonable, and the teachers are also serious and responsible. The resources provided by the school are also more abundant
The university of Sheffield has a very good green environment, and the library and laboratory are very convenient, so that we can learn more knowledge in a comfortable environment.
The perfect student city and all around great uni!! Campus is always full of life with top facilities and amazing student union, plus there are hundreds of sports, clubs and societies to join!! Super welcoming and friendly atmosphere too :))

A very good university! The facilities are complete. I like the library best. The facilities are new and comfortable.
A decent campus and support services. A lot of libraries to support you studying efforts. In addition the lecturers are open to discussion and feedback. The only drawbacks are the strikes which significantly impact the studies once they take place.

It's a livable town with friendly staff and professors. The overall facilities are sufficient and fully capable of teaching. However, the clubs and clubs are relatively lacking compared to other schools, perhaps because of insufficient funds, which seems to be a bit lacking in equipment and venues.
I’ve loved every minute of my time at university
Sport is underfunded and sports facilities are below average. Especially for a uni that’s won varsity 8 years in a row.

The University of Sheffield is overall an excellent choice. Admission to me was excellent in terms of communication with the different staff, and the process itself (no hassle and good responsiveness). Learning there has been a positive experience so far.. courses are direct and clear and most teachers are excellent, apart from some who offer little interactivity (but those are minimal).. Facilities are great and you will always find something to do (joining clubs, sports, going out, trying something new...etc.) This has truly been a highlight to me. For example, Give it a go is a way to go to events almost every week. This was perfect for me, an international student, to get to know the fun and interesting stuff to go to and do in the UK. Would definitely recommend the UoS.

The campus buildings are quite close knit around the city which makes commuting from building to building much easier according to my timetables, i found it really easy integrating into university lifestyle and socialising through the wide variety of societies Sheffield has to offer, overall I am pleased that i chose to study here!
