If not, I would encourage you to raise this with your Programme Lead. I’m not sure which faculty you are part of but it could also be worth trying this resource: Advice centre at the Union (theunionmmu.org). Sorry to hear you think the campus is ugly - did you know we're currently undertaking a lot of building work and our new Dalton Building (for Science and Engineering courses) will open later this year? And the library is also about to undergo an exciting transformation: Impressive new library plans unveiled by Manchester Metropolitan University · Manchester Metropolitan University (mmu.ac.uk). We're sure this will add to our already impressive and exciting campus :)

If you’re looking for ways to make your time at Man Met more engaging, it may be worth visiting our Student Union website where you can find opportunities for our students to be involved in outside of their studies. You could also consider joining one of our societies and clubs on offer. They’re a great way to meet new people and be part of the Manchester Met student community, whilst taking part in social activities that you enjoy! There are also volunteering opportunities available which again act as a great opportunity to meet likeminded students and gain new social experiences. To see what’s available with regards to clubs, societies and volunteering opportunities, take a look here: Opportunities (theunionmmu.org). If sport is your thing, whether seriously or just for fun, have a look here: Sport · Manchester Metropolitan University (mmu.ac.uk)  To find out about other opportunities for new social experiences, try contacting our Student Union team on 0161 247 6533 who will be happy to advise of upcoming social events.
