Everything is straightforward and easy to manage
The area is pretty easy to Access, got some facilities to just sit and relax, computers you can use on site, cafe you can get food or coffee got an on-site Starbucks that is convenient. I do like the design of the area very nice, honestly I don't have much to say or complain about.
Wonderful university, never had any issues. There are multiple teams on-site and available online. They are prompt and helpful. There are plenty of great societies that I am a part of, and events are always well put together. LJMU's facilities are all accessible, look pretty brand-new, kept clean. LJMU has social events all the time, are incredibly inclusive, promoting things that people are passionate about, and create such a close community of students, from absolutely everywhere.
Studying at Liverpool John Moores University has been an incredible journey for me as an international student. From the very beginning, the university provided excellent support, making my transition to a new country smooth and stress-free. The faculty is knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help, creating a great learning environment. The campus is beautiful and well-equipped with modern facilities, libraries, and study spaces, making it easy to focus on academics. There are also plenty of extracurricular activities, clubs, and events that help students feel engaged and connected. One of the things I appreciate most is the diversity on campus. Meeting people from different cultures has been an enriching experience, and the university fosters a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Attending LJMU has provided you with a strong foundation in cosmetic science, hands-on lab experience, and exposure to industry events like SCS Formulate. It’s also given you opportunities to build connections in the cosmetics industry and develop both practical and theoretical skills essential for your career.

Campus location great. Library services great, could have better opening hours. WiFi in lecture halls not great.

good stay as far as I have been and enjoying it very much.
Great university with outstanding facilities, great courses. Ranked 6th in the world for sport and exercise science! A lot of societies and clubs/sports teams to get involved with. Great study spaces and IT support is readily available. Best choice I've made so far.

I’m really enjoying my time at LJMU. The staff is very nice and I feel like they really care about the students. The facilities are good.

Haven’t joined any societies but the facilities are very nice and up to date. Most the rooms have good WiFi connection and the computers we use are well equipped with what we need to do. A very large set of 3 libraries, with each one focussing on a few main courses each so you can never complain about not having a specific book you need for a course. I do media production, which gives me access to an amazing stores facility that lets you take out high grade cameras for specific amounts of time free of charge, so it’s perfect to experiment with what I’m trying to learn without any of the usual cost with renting or buying!

LJMU has been a great experience so far! The lecturers are really supportive, and the course is well-structured. The facilities are decent, though some areas could use a little improvement. Met some amazing people here too! Overall, a solid uni with a good vibe.
