the campus is good and I’ve had a great time here so far.
Good but could be better, hard to really rate with covid involved
Le personnel de la réception est très sympathique et je les aime beaucoup!
Very helpful staff really enjoying my course so far
Loved my time at LJMU, met some great people
i haven’t actually been on campus this year but when i came for open days i really fell in love with the uni and the area, the lecturers are all really lovely and as ive been having a lot of personal issues during my time on the course they have been so helpful and really considerate.
The University is the best of it kind and I have been enjoying studying there
not been on campus yet this semester
I haven’t been into university yet
Good university, nice campus which has just been updated. Friendly staff and lecturers.
Good uni with great library. Lots of good clubs, sports teams and societies to join!
Loved my time at LJMU so far! Amazing campus life and very interesting course!
LJMU is pretty damn good. Especially for the science department
Great and convenient for everyone
Liverpool john moores university is the great university in Liverpool with a lot of facilities
A great university with a great Hierarchy,
I recommend it for LJMU student, top location, privacy, high quality, good value for your money
Fab location, great staff, great amenities. Would always recommend here to stay
LJMU made my experience very memorable due to their support and great facilities.
A few problems and they didn't adjust to online learning very well but still a decent uni
Avril Robarts Library is fantastic!!! I love it very much and it’s the best place to study
Not really had anything going on.
Everyone is great and goes above and beyond
Havent seen much of the uni experience due to COVID
Liverpool John Moores University was my first choice uni, I chose to come to John Moores to study Modern History because this course offered the best module selection that I could find. The university is situated in the city centre and is accessible to most accommodations within a 10-15 minute walk. I am now studying my Masters degree at John Moores and couldn't suggest a better institution to do a degree or continue into post graduate studies. The history faculty at the Mount Pleasant Campus are amazing and are very accommodating and friendly. Absolute experts in their fields willing to offer you everything they could possibly know or access. I loved every minute of my undergraduate degree and I am certain I can say the same for the rest of my cohort.
Very good uni, helpful lecturers and interesting course
I haven’t really been into campus to use all the facilities due to Covid
I’m glad that I have chosen this uni to go to
Haven’t been on campus yet so I can’t give an accurate review ahha
Nice buildings friendly staff decent place
It is difficult to make an accurate review as I have only been on campus once to collect my lab coat and goggles...
Really good, would recommend to anyone.
I don’t really know cos I haven’t been on sight cos of covid 19
Great uni. Teachers are helpful
From what Ive seen on open days the uni looks good.
The society options is very broad and has a lot of choice for everyone from sport to other activities
Great facilities! Staff always here to help when needed. Many opportunities for societies and jobs
Good facilities and support through the pandemic
really good clubs and societies to join, students union is also really helpful:)
I haven’t been into campus yet at all because everything is online.
Had to give low stars due to not being to the campus yet due to covid restrictions so don’t know what it is like there
Not been on campus yet due to covid but online features seem good
The experience hasn't been what I have expected due to covid 19
Havent experienced many of the aspects due to covid19
Haven’t been able to to access any campus teaching due to everything being online.
Cannot comment on the above as haven’t yet experienced the university itself
I cannot comment as we haven’t been allowed into university since the start due to Covid 19
Very good community at the university.
Haven’t been into uni yet but expecting that it is going to be 5*
Hard to review campus as have not been on yet due to COVID, online working well
So far in my time at John Moores I have enjoyed my time here. Despite the current pandemic, the online classes have been educational and helpful and I look forward to completing my degree in the coming future.
nice campus, easy to get around, clean
Plenty of facilities such as computers and printers and staff are always helpful
John moores is great, and staff always there to help. Even during Covid-19, they have offered as much online support as possible.
Very enjoyable university experience
Really good adjusting to the new online and zoom rules
Good, John Moores makes you feel welcome
tutors are amazing and they’re so passionate about the course
A great university, with fantastic teachers! Would definitely recommend
Great university! Modern buildings and friendly atmosphere
Worst experience ever in my life. I studied in 3 different countries and this was definitely the worst university I attended. My M.Sc was absolutely low quality and professors lazies and unhelpful (the practical part absolutely a joke). University facilities old and out of date, no activities for international students, waste my money for nothing (I had not bursary). I would discourage to study at this university.
I work in the North West Cancer Research Center as an academic visitor. All the services are very convenient.
Great uni, for both undergraduates and masters.
My time at LJMU has been an amazing experience. I have enjoyed my course and that was made possible by the state-of-the-art facilities and welcoming staff at the university that gave my the support I needed to suceed. The campus has always been presented professionally and it's location is prime with close proximity to student accomodations and the city centre, with easy to locate buildings.
State of the art facilities and amazing staff, The only thing holding LJMU back is its own modesty
Amazing university with amazing campuses and facilities.
Great university, really enjoy my course and all the support given
From my course that I have chosen I did not have the best first year, the facilities where acceptable but not in any way creative or inspirational for an art course. There could definitely be more clubs and societies towards arts but most are for sports.
Amazing university! really helpful staff on other campus'. however if your studying on IM Marsh you often feel forgotten about and personally my tutor has not been their for us at all this year. however i have heard very good things about other tutors!
This university provides everything required and most of what is desired from a good university.
They just never seem to do anything for you here. Like you just get given lectures (sometimes). There is no care or pride in work
Lovely staff and i love the uni
LJMU has been very supportive during the coronavirus crisis.
I find my lecturers to be super helpful, and everything is online using the Canvas system. There's a Starbucks and a generics cafe in the James Parsons campus, with the Avril Robarts a 5 minute walk away. Theres loads of facilities to work and socialise on campus. I really enjoyed my time at LJMU, and I'm sad to be leaving!
Its a good Uni, you will like it
I studied Maths with Finance , The staff were always helpful and supportive. The course was interesting and I am looking forward to my next year.
Great university, however the campus is quiet spread out
really good university with amazing facilities
The Redmonds building is a lovely new rebuild. Only criticism is that lectures aren't recorded and if you miss a lecture for any reason then you're missing all needed context
During my first year at John Moores I have been surprised at the lack of time tabling for my course. Only having three hours of lectures and six hours of seminars spread across two days of the week almost seemed pointless to me. It felt as though there wasn’t enough contact time and that we haven’t learnt an awful lot. However the university is very good at forcing you into a situation where you appreciate independent study, as that is where you gain the most knowledge for the course, the teachers are all good people and are eager to help anyone in any spare time that they have. The option to go to other repeat seminars is available also which I found useful because if I didn’t grasp something in my first seminar I could join in with another and make sure my understanding was then solid.
Fine until forced to switch to online teaching during COVID-19 which as consisted of poorly made PowerPoint and not much else, despite many other universities offering live lectures and supporting students through this already drastic change. You cannot teach yourself at degree level with just a PowerPoint, and it is most certainly not worth the fees. Sort yourself out LJMU
Love John Moore’s university the law/ business building is amazing!! The staff are really helpful and support you 100% of the way
Great university, a shame the term has been cut short.
Great specialised facilities and comfortable environment
John Moores is exceptional would recommend to anyone looking at uni for an option
LJMU is a lovely uni would highly recommend
Great University, Student Support is amazing
Great university which helps with all students
Pretty terrible university looking back and my degree was never asked for over the last 17 years or so. But uni helped me grow up as a person so much so don’t regret the experience at all
I've had an amazing experience at this uni. Wouldn't trade it for the world. Will be really sad to go, I wish I didnt ever have to. Obviously like all things in life, it isnt perfect and theres room for improvement but I'm leaving knowing I'm leaving a legacy behind, and thatll do me. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to true have the time of their life
Many technical issues with emails and attendance forms.
It's been an okay experience could be better
Overall enjoyable experience at university so far
Great Uni, with great curriculum
Great course but sometimes the facilities are lacking
Good and one to one help if needed
Great university and all the opportunity’s are great
I’ve met lots of people and I really enjoy being a part of the poker society. The campus has good facilities and I think the library looks good now it’s been refurbished
Good place to go and have a fun time
